Great job Hank showing off the M18 Hellcat, and Andrew is very M18 knowledgeable. Hey Hank, you have a very strong resemblance of Brad Pitt on that vehicle.
Had the pleasure of going to the American Heritage Museum in October this year. Promped me to buy a Tamiya Hellcat 1/35 model kit and just started on it. Nice to see you showing it in such detail. My only small gripe is you didn't show much of the back end of the vehicle. Currently wrestling with the PE and it's giving me hell :D
I picked up the Tamiya kit as soon as hit hit the shelves, which is rare for me. The only thing that stands out like a sore thumb on their kit is those overscale footman loops around the turret. Going to replace those with some scratch built from thinner wire.
Wow, very cool. Hope you got to take some photo's of the interior, to aid with detailing your build. Thanks to Andrew and the museum for allowing Hank to create this video.
What a great experience! I had no idea how snug the forward compartments are and the .50 cal. Is pretty much in the face of the commander. The half inch of armor was surprising too. So much knowledge shared; thank you for outstanding content!
Please take this in the best spirit, but maybe not interject so many "Uh-huhs, Yeahs and Sures" while the person being interviewed speaks. Love your channel and congrats on the 112k subs, well deserved because you have a real talent for this.
Hi. Thank you very much for the informative and fun video. Enjoying all your vids. Look forward to you covering more vehicles as its a bit far away for me to visit. Very nice of them to give you access to the equipment. I'm going to have to watch it again, as I was removing endless amounts of masking tape from a 1/48 HB IAR-80, which kept distracting me! Congrats on the subscription numbers. I think your channel is doing well because: 1) You show a great deal of genuine enthusiasm for your subjects. 2) Proper research on your videos and the honesty to admit when you are not sure about something (and then seeking further clarification). 3) A very friendly and welcoming attitude. 4) No silly, exaggerated "click bait" title/thumbnails. Just an honest description of the content. 5) Informative and helpful "how to" and review videos. I anticipate many more great vids to come. Every day I learn something new is a great day. Cheers Matt🦘🦘🦘
@albertlecuyer6761 The Scott would be cool too. I build a lot more open top vehicles, as well as soft skin vehicles than I do tanks. I just find them more interesting. So. Yes to the 75mm M8 as well as the 37mm M8. Merry Christmas.
Hi Hank, what a brilliant video. This is going to come in real handy as I've asked the wife to buy me an m18 hellcat for Christmas. i do hope you will cover more subjects. i noticed an amtrack with a turret on in the background in your video that would be a great subject to cover just a thought mate.you and the family have a fantastic Christmas. cheers Gary from the uk 🇬🇧.
You should come out Dec 28/29 for the Battle of Bulge event. get a ride in the 1/2 track and see us freezing our butts off in our holes watching the line.
Great new series. Thank you

I could do a lot worse than Mr. Pitt! 😅 Cheers, thanks for watching!
One note, I'd let Andrew speak and let him finish his sentences. Apart from that, the video looks great! Nice use of historical photos!
A bad habit of mine when on camera! 😅
This is awesome. Great job. Keep making these types of videos.
Thank you very much! I'm really glad to hear it - thanks for watching 👍
Cool seeing stuff at life size that makes you wonder about sometimes at 1/35 scale.
Definitely!

Very cool Sir!

Great idea 👍
Good timing as the M18 is on my Xmas list 😊
Looking forward to plenty more up close and personal videos 😀
Ah wonderful! They make some fantastic little kits. Cheers & thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for watching!!
Great video! Really helps out to see the inside and out detail of the vehicle. And the museum is absolutely fabulous!
Wonderful! I'm glad you enjoyed!
You lucky duck!
I am indeed! 😄
Great video with excellent interior shots. Maybe try it's adversary next, the Panther.

Thank you for the kind words, my friend! You're too kind. Thanks for the support!
I noticed the M8 in the background. How about a video covering it. This video has whetted my appetite for more non-tank afvs.
Oh my, yes the M8 greyhound. Please
@@bobrivett7645 Yes the Greyhound but I was referring to the M8 Scott. Both would be welcome.

Very funny to hear you both talking while buttoned in the dark, especially with the outside view
Haha yeah that was a fun bit to edit! 😅

Oh very nice! They're wonderful kits. And thanks for the suggestion - cheers!
Nicely timed I'm working on a 1/56 scale for my wargames army.
Cool video. I couldn't do any tank. Cluster phobic and probably a little to big for those spaces.
It's definitely cozy down in there!

I’m planning on it for sure!
@@SpruesNBrews just have to keep praying to the weather gods lol, word is a sherman & TD might be out and about in the woods also
Also* Asking*
Quick question, are tank destroyer crews just tankers? How does the training and uniform and stuff compare?
Hank if you make it to the UK visit Bovington Tank museum they even have a running Tiger 1 plus many interesting AFVs
