It was awesome! We're going again in 2023! If you're into cycling , this is a must trip to do once in your life. The people, food and the countryside is something one never forgets!
Want to do Passau to Budapest but the self-guided packages you can get only do about 30 miles a day and I prefer to do twice that. I guess that means finding a way to carry my own luggage.
We also normally do 100km per day but the idea on holiday is to chill and do sightseeing, so we will be constantly reminding ourselves to SLOW DOWN AND TAKE IT EASY!! Lol.
We did this trip a few years ago. We have been on a few European bike trips, and this has been our favorite so far.
Going to bike the Danube Sept. 2021 with 2 other friends and then hike the Alps. Can't wait!! Thanks for getting me fired up :-)
