- Some of you may recognize the course from earlier this week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but Tuck got cold feet at the time so he wanted his shot at redemption and Coco wanted a piece of the action too so without further ado, check out the latest episode of American Hedgehog Warrior to see who wins! Look at these athletes, the absoute skill on display here!! I had a hedgehog as a kid (named Buffy Chérie) and she did brick and tube mazes, and oh my god, watching this makes me miss her so much!

When I first saw the thumbnail to this video I didn't read what it was all about and thought the hedge hog was a potato at first glance.

No its not... there's quite a few places these poor hogs could get seriously hurt, either by getting a leg stuck in those metal grids, or by falling off the edge and hurting themselves...
Not to mention how he's clearly not regulating tuck's diet. A hedgie should NOT be that hefty. Ever.
@@InTheMindOfficial He's shown it before where he is super close at all times and will intervene immediately at the first sign of trouble.

I’d be curious to know if this was filmed in the same order as shown? It’s possible Tuck the absolute TANK is following Coco’s scent if she went first as I think he took almost the exact same path.

My girl gets so hissy if taken out during the day but she needs a course like this for some excercise. How did you start training them?
They’re not really trained or baited with treats…I just noticed that they always scour the sofa trying to figure out how to get down to the floor where I let them explore my apartment and that’s their ultimate motivation…I started putting obstacles in front of them with a path towards the slide to see if they still try to get to down to the floor and then I just gave them a way to get down safely at the end…when they succeed I let them go where they want until they try to go under my couch…I assume that’s what keeps them going but they’re pretty clever little critters 🤷♂️🦔

Hi how are you Tuck?
As cute as they both are...is Tuck at a healthy weight for his species/age? He seems too big? Im worried.
A Hedgehog should be able to ball him/her self up and completely hide their face which Tuck does often…he turns himself into a perfectly round ball of spikes…besides that he’s quite agile as you can see from this latest video so no need to worry. If he was inactive and could not ball himself up for protection that would be a cause for concern but he checks all the boxes…he’s just a big boy 🦔
Tuck is just massive boi, he isn’t fat though. The courses that they do show that they are still physically fit and mentally sound enough to find paths and food in the HWC.
