i feel some people over exaggerate how these releases are "bad", honestly if i didn't already get the poster version shma i woulda gotten this godzilla (i have gvk as well since he came with extra hands), however i am getting kong tho, that paint job on the kong looks awesome and i'd say even better than the og gvk and even the exclusive version in terms of looks, even if i get the exclusive version, imma still get gxk kong cause i like how it looks, like i get the complaint that these are repaints but at the same time im thinking: does it being a repaint immediately make it a bad release? to that i say no, i've seen repaints turn out better than a previous release and imma be honest these may be better than the gvk figures even if i still like em. Good unboxing thus far! (btw if gxk kong goes on sale, maybe take two with kong on your channel potentially?)

Bandai just needs to bring back the v1 head used on G19. It wasn’t perfect but far superior than the v2 head that they started using on thermo Godzilla

The 2024 head is smaller then previous releases, nearly 50% smaller then 2019 and about 25% smaller then 2021 2. The 2024 figure by far has the best articulation and posability out of 3 with the tail being strong enough to balance the entire figure Megalon style 3. The atomic breath is bent and feels ‘cheaper’ then the previous versions if I had to describe it P.S. the legitimate reason why shma doesn’t use the V1 2019 head sculpt is (and I kid you not) they lost the files to the sculpt and had to recast the head using a physical ‘19 head piece. even though there's not much about this that is super duper amazing, it's kinda hard for me to hate on something like this that feels like such a complete package that i can get for like, $50 by importing. just that teeth paint... maybe they should take from hiya and just not paint them at all lol looks cleaner

you gotta trust me on this one, if you ever can find a SHMA 2019 Godzilla Poster Color Version at a reasonable price you should pick it up. Its the definitive Monsterverse Godzilla in my opinion.

This guy is really good. Just ignore it’s the trillionth repaint and you have a great figure.
