I love how this aired in 1998 and you already see website adverts on the tv and mentions of live chatrooms. I was 17 or 18 at the time and only vaguely remember seeing seeing that.
Kinda blew me away that as a Joe Bob fan from Newfoundland, he not only featured one of the only even remotely-known movies that was mostly shot here (15 minutes away from where I live) BUT he also pronounces Newfoundland correctly! He doesn't mention it here, but he does during another movie (for no reason!) Not only do 95% of people from other countries get it wrong (not just the US, practically everywhere else too) A lot of people from other places within CANADA even get it wrong. But yet Joe Bob gets it right. I love this sum'bitch... not for this superficial reason, of course. It just made me that much more impressed.

Movie had some star power. Richard Harris, Bo Derek, Robert Carradine, Keenan Wynn. Will Sampson (of one flew over the cuckoos nest fame). It’s actually not a terrible movie and some beautiful icy scenery near Newfoundland. And of course, Bo Derek’s physique.
A Death Wish with Fish! Or is it still killer whales? So who ORCA-strated that bit of droll humor? At least Joe Bob has yet to resort to the old "whale of a tale" cliche. That would be a SHAM MOO! !!
