    My head canon is that we're seeing the dichotomy of James - the expert side, but also the personal side where he enjoys poking fun at himself. Always great to see him able to have a little fun and not take things too seriously!

    🤣 what a lovely thing to discover first thing in the morning! so much that's fun and funny in this! the film filter that gives the scene hot spots every so often, the aspect ratio, the old timey applause/laugh track (before "filmed before a live studio audience" was a thing), the set design, the graphics, the terrible jokes, the moustache foam, and how the heck did you squish all your awesome hair under that bald cap?! 🤣 well done everyone!! and thank you for giving me the rare opportunity to break out some old lingo - "foxy" - to describe tony. 🤣

    I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. Was a strange edition of the book club but that's what we watched on Sunday mornings back then. Have to say, the books have held up surprisingly well, even going as far as to include recent world history in various countries and water ion research that wasn't published until 2015. Don't know how he did it back then. Come to think of it, James hasn't aged a day since...
