@@alstrange6055 we have done a 30M2 garden studio plus a couple of garages that were around 36M2...! 30M2 is a big space - 6m x 5m or something like that! 👍🏻 thanks for the comment and for watching!
I’ve seen on other YT channels, that you get better absorption from the acoustic panels if they stand off the walls/ceiling by the thickness of the panel. Have you tried this yourself?
Thanks for watching. That is definitely true and does make a slight difference. The panels we install work well enough in the rooms and do the job. Most people are concerned about losing space in the room so flat against the wall keeps the panels compact. You are definitely right though - ultimately off the wall would probably give you slightly more absorption.
@@soundproofingexpert777 Would there be enough headroom for a ceiling cloud in your standard height building, or would someone need to get planning permission to go above 2.4m?
@@fatmavis normal ceiling height of a 2.5m building is 2.1m. The panels are normally 5cm thick - they have worked okay in the past. Mainly above a drum kit, desk or monitor speakers. 👍🏻
Epic
amazing! Had one lesson so far, 👌🏻
@@mjb504 awesome - how did you find the new room?
@@soundproofingexpert777 Epic. Unbelievably quiet outside whilst the drums are played inside.
As always great job guy’s 👍🙌

What an epic build.!! Great job guys
@@Alex-ce6it thanks for the comment 👍🏻
Hello mate. Another great build. Can I ask - what do you cover the external extractor fan with? Is it rubber / paint or felt? Thank you
@@ResearchprojectX you can use rubber roofing or the roofing felt. Anything waterproof will work 👍🏻
@@soundproofingexpert777 thank you!
Awesome job guys! Nicely smashed! What’s the biggest drum studio you’ve built outside of converting say a double garage (I’ve got a big kit!)?🤔
