Another brilliant broadcast of old amazing films, Thankyou so much for sharing this with us 🙏
Real D-Day! is just heartbreaking and yet what Heroes, never forget never forget them! Thank you for sharing💔❣💔
"Suffragette Emily Davison is out of the race for good." 😂 what a blunt way to describe such an event.
There is a memorial to Emily Davison in Epsom now. And I remember drinking milk at school in the 1960s. Was awful if it was near the radiator.
Thank you for your good videos 🌹Thank you for the efforts you make to collect videos🌹 Thank you for showing us the history well 🌹
Poor brave Emily.
The jockey , Mr Jones, suffered concussion, his son found him , after his wife's death , in a gas filled kitchen, he had committed suicide after suffering depression. The horse fell on it's face , but continued the race without a jockey , no idea if it was able to race again, hopefully, it was ok .
@@joanmatchett8100 exactly - Emily, by her PR stunt, killed several hitherto thriving creatures, simply because she decided not to consider the best for ALL those around her. Horses are alive too. Good intention/bad execution.
Silly mare
Shame the stop oil activists don’t use this technique
I'd like to pull up to the movie theaters in the 1940s-1950s to watch the latest news and entertainment with the homies smoking a nice, fat, and juicy round Havana White Owl 😁 Anyone who gets a Time Machine want to meet me there 😂
thanks for this window on the past.

Emily Davison Trampled at the Epsom Derby, D Day Landings and more 1907pm 30.5.23 i have discovered that you must be allowed to partake of milk in your formative years after which you can ween yerself off of it... that said, i have no idea what they put in milk these days to put folk off of their milk.
Just Stop Oil should use Emily's tactic!!
God bless the allies for liberating the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944!

He still does vids???!?!?!?!
Has this channel yet endeavored to assemble thematically similar shorts into assembled long-form videos? Seems as though it would generate more worth while viewing/listening.

No one cares.
But they recorded over all the moonlanding tapes, "bcs that's what was done at that time" 🙄
What if you were lactose intolerant?
: )
The suffragettes were a terrorist organisation. Blowing up post boxes and pulling stunts like this. She actually meant to pin a banner to the horse.
The jockey later committed suicide.
Doesn’t really seem like you know what “terrorist” means.
@@boudicajones6524 Terrorism.
the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
@@boudicajones6524 maybe you should learn english.
@@boudicajones6524 I think he (it’s always a he) mean is terrorist like Nelson Mandela, or Steve Biko.. you know ppl that dare to stand up to wealthy white men, who let’s face it just never get a decent break. 🙄 🙄
Poor jockey. Stupid woman.

Silly. Mare
Ha the full stop or period was completely accidental but I don’t know if it was intentional 😂❤
Nothing "brave" about risking the lives of horses and jockeys by pulling a stupid stunt. Horseracing is cruel enough without someone adding to the risk.
Well said
