OMG!!! this brinks up so many memories!!! i was living there in 1992-93 (if i remember correctly) Brentwood. Was not the best place but i have so many great memories from Salford and my early 20s. We were going to the pubs, the crescent and the black horse. i remember there was a new pup then in the corner with Adelphi street(?) was there a small river there also(?) i can't remember there has been so many years. Also, i remember the boddingtons pub that was in the factory. I cant remember if it was in the premises of the factory or right outside, but was the pub of the factory. And the whole area arould was smelling boddingtons bitter! Great years! Recently i looked a bit into it. it seems all these places are closed now sadly.
Don’t know how I ended up on this video haha I was living in Lower Broughton for half of last year until my house got robbed end of November, being honest was an absolute shithole to live in but at the same time felt kind of nostalgic seeing all these streets I used to walk down every day lol
Thanks for the memories 👍 Quick one for you. At 6:17 you turn into Romney St and go past No81 where I was born in the living room 😉 and the claim to fame for the street, at 6:30 you pass No 53 on the right where the late great actor Albert Finney was born and lived until his house was bombed by the Germans 😂
Glad you like the video. It's comments like this that really make me enjoy putting these videos up. We have a few other similar videos of Salford and surrounding areas planned. Thanks for watching 👍
Salford is a massive red area of Greater Manchester. The city of Salford is wall to wall red, very few City fans live there. My dad's family are Failsworth and New Moston (North Manchester), which North Manchester is massive Man Utd area as well. Mancunians and Salfordians, twin cities, and brother's they are 🙂
Its not really a video like that, but in a few videos I have named the streets. Kind of depends on which way the wind blows that day. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the trip down memory lane I used to go to work with my mother up Witt lane as a child in the 60 s my uncle had a pub there 😁
Great video. Thanks.
I knew a load of kids who went to Cromwell school and youth club in the seventies. We lived a stones throw away.
