most people did not skip Navia over Xianyun, at first yes because ppl were not confident in a Geo, but most ppl ended up pulling when they saw her power and fun

Bruh it's so painful, Chiori has one of my favourite personalities, va performance and animation set in the game but the fact that she's basically just albedo + the fact that arle is coming next patch killed any chances of me pulling for her, and then by the time she re-runs we'll probably be in natlan with a bunch of new hype characters
Chiori is for players who actually like her and still want to pull her.
Just saying you are poor to buy extra primo to pull both arle and Chiori😌

I am 100% getting Chiori. Loved her since seeing her in the film festival event. I have over 200 wishes saved, so she will be coming home for sure :) I plan on using her alongside my Navia 💛

We are one of the very few people that don’t care for Arlecchino or just don’t want to pull for her. I’m pretty sure that’s rare but we exist!
I love Arlecchino as a character - the only Harbinger I really like so far - but I just don’t need her. Unfortunately. I’m not in need for another pyro dps. And I bet she will be one. I am happy with Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Diluc and even Gaming! Even more fun with Xianyun!
So I went all in with my few 40 fates and got my very first Dehya and a lucky c1 Chiori. I couldn’t resist. And my Navia will like this even more.
And now I‘ll wait for Neuvi to try for his c1 and after that it’s Clorinde.

As a Geo main who already had every Geo including Navia, Chiori was a no-brainer. I was willing to sacrifice my guarantee for Chiori because I already knew I could use her (she's basically an upgraded Albedo) and I still didn't know enough about Father (both gameplay and as a character) at the time that I would skip someone I already know I like for someone who happens to be the hot thing at the moment. And if it did turn out I wanted Father bad enough, there's always her rerun. Long story short, no regrets and I even ended up with a surprise early Father on 19 pity while rolling for Frem and Lynette cons. Moral of the story: follow your own path and let fate run its course.

They do the same thing with Yoimiya all the time. First banner she was before the shogun, second banner she was before the first Dendro unit and the list could honestly continue

The fate point not carrying over to me makes sense since I don't think they'll be having this banner every patch, it would really suck to build a guarantee on this banner but it doesn't come back in 6 months. They are giving themselves a way out to cancel this banner if it doesn't work out. Now the duration I think is really sad, they really could've made it last the entire patch.
I'm a bit confused on people being really mad about the duration. Do people typically save up during patches? I always just pull and stop at the beginning of a patch, I assumed that's how most people did it too
@@I.disagree most people will spend 160 gems the moment they get it if they weren't able to get it on the first day, that's how I got most of my characters since my savings were never enough. Now I have a lot of pulls saved up for Furina c2 so I'm more or less guaranteed to get it when she comes back. So it's not really something people do if their account is established enough, I don't really do that in HSR anymore as well since I always have 100+ pulls reserved because of how generous the game is.

I always managed to save enough to at least try a 50/50 on a character I like.
This game releases characters so slowly anyways so even with the less rewards, it felt pretty normal
@@I.disagree only came back to Genshin last year so I'm still at AR 59, although at this point I already have the team do Spiral Abyss so I don't have as many priorities anymore. But the hussle is real for people who want to pull a character every single patch or like to build pity on banners they don't mind winning a 50/50 on.
I love chiori's everything but with albedo coming I shall wait until her rerun. I kept failed to get albedo since his debut man, the cinnabar sword is being useless in my inventory.

I think saying something like this just put a FOMO towards free-to-play players we need to save up for the characters that we really want or we think would be good for our teams.
I've already long heard rumours about arlecchino coming around to these update so I've been skipping three new characters so far to accumulate around 200 wishes, and that's not because I don't like the characters that came before at all. right now I really just want a new big pyro DPS and this might be it so that's why I've been saving for quite a while.
And just a site note I think the most unfortunate character in terms of banner releases is yoimiya honestly back-to-back she has been right beside or just before or after major five stars😂

being F2p and a meta slave is a different thing, 4.5 is gonna be a dried patch probably no more than 55 wishes, some people will have no wishes for arlecchino if they pull for chiori.@@HellBent_

Not just Arlecchino dropping is a issue. Itto and Chiori get put right behind Kazuha and Neuvillette, two very desireable characters. Neuvillette being really strong, Kazuha being a really good supporter, while Itto didn't get a rerun in such a long time, and geo being really niche (Besides Navia and now with Furina, Noelle too). I feel like this is done quiet often though, but in this case, it's jist extreme.
Lyney was put besides Yelan, and before Childe and Zhongli. After that patch, Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Hu Tao and Venti have had their banner. Yoimiya debuted between Ayaka and Raiden, and had a lot of reruns, so people got sick of her, while she was rerunning next to Raiden, Nahida, and even Kazuha. Eula also started in a weird point, right after Zhongli, but before Kazuha. It's unfair to some characters, especialy because they have a cool system or niche, and lots of people already don't want to pull for some of those anyways.

am i the only one who thought that Chiori was a 4 star character ? i was genuinely surprised that she is actually a 5 star , her design is so 4 star in my mind , also her being a geo character is not helping her case at all
Yup. Her animations aside, I don't get 5 star vibes from her. She has the HuTao problem. She isn't featured in any AQ content and just pops out of nowhere. Doesn't help that Chevreuse was introduced with her and had a more interesting design (to me).

I have literally no idea what I got banned for on twitch... You didn't like me talking about Honkai Impact 3rd and wanted me to talk about other things too so I asked about politics because it is a really nice topic to talk about and I got banned because of it? What is wrong with that? I vote for TOP09 and even when other people vote for some extremist parties like SPD I like to talk about why they vote them and share some of the opinions. I have asked this same thing on discord and got banned there too. Could anybody answer me instead of banning me? What is wrong with that? I guess it is just that some mod that is a genshin impact player hates Honkai Impact 3rd players so much. What a pity that such a nice and kind streamer has such unresponsive mods.

This happened to Eula back in 1.5 with the Kazuha drip (1.6).
People didn't pick her and had to wait till 2.3. And again Zhongli waiting on (2.4) made everyone skip her.
it's not only Arleccino, there are Neuvillette and Kazuha in the second half and Al Haitham and Furina in 4.6. Even if people wanted to pull for Chiori, they're forced to be smart with their resources. Also Hoyo is winning again making the community look like a bunch of 🤡🤡🤡 with their "riots" cuz that Arleccino banner is apparently going to beat all the records.

Chiori's design looks like a 4 star NGL. I mean just look at Kirara
Chiori is a filler character by every metric of the concept. Her kit is boring and just a rehash of Albedo's stapled to Kazuha's burst. Her design is nice but her character is boring and basic (yeah yeah I know a lot of people still like the 'girl boss' who flaunts conventions and 'does things her way', but it's boring to me). Hell, even her demo felt like a 4-Star character trailer rather than a 5-star; it was bland, the pacing was a bit off, the music was nice but nothing special, and it was far too basic. When you compare her to the amazing demos of Neuvillette and Furina, Chiori's demo reminds me of the old Standard 5-star banners like Mona or Qiqi; basic, dull, uninspired.
Hoyoverse already did really dirty too Navia release and as well Yoimiya
