This is a hole in my viewing, never seen it but would like to for sure. Considering I love SHOCKER and THE HORROR SHOW, strange I never saw this. I'll need to set up a theme night sometime. I love Empire's output so it's a no-brainer. Great timing with 'The Walk' as well.
As for my walls as a teenager, every inch was covered with something to do with Rock and Heavy Metal posters (hadn't yet become the movie fan I am now). I had many Iron Maiden 'Eddie' posters and having subscribed to some mags, I'd cut out pics to fill in the empty spaces in between posters. I had 1 picture of that room - and it got lost, so sad.

@@DonJoeBob Ha!!! So ‘Eddie’ was your segue into horror??? Freakin’ awesome!!
For me, it’s kind of flipped in a way, I was working at a KFC, and we had this new kid come on board, kind of a weird kid, real quiet sort, but he kind of reached out to me, I guess looking for a friend of sorts. so he invites me over to his house, actually his garage one Saturday morning, as it happens he lived right up the road from me. At the time my parents had a house on the lake, so I had it kinda good. Anyhow, I get to his house knock on the door and his mom says oh yeah, “Him and his buddies are out in the garage,” so I go out there right, turns out he has a band, a full ‘set’ in the garage, lol… I didn’t know what to make out of it, they were playing some heavy metal some really good sounding stuff which I was really new to. They were jamming on this one song and I was like dang’, you guys wrote that? All start to laugh, there’re like dude it’s Metallica, and I’m like who? My buddy would soon afterwards run up to his room and grab his pile of cassette tapes, my homework that night was to listen to every Metallica album that they had produced up to that point basically ‘kill em’ all’ to ‘Justice’. You would say the rest is history in terms of my love for that band & Heavy Metal.🍻

@@BodyBags That's not too far off from my experience as well. Cool friends letting me borrow cassettes and teaching me the ropes. Then had another friend with a death metal band, not my thing but lots of fun watching them play; they still do on the side too. I had a pretty interesting background that led me to what I'd become. Strict Christian parents, we didn't have a TV for most of my young life but they allowed music and weren't about that 'Satanic Panic' scare - they thankfully knew better. I could go on and on ... maybe someday eh!

@@DonJoeBob I have a funny hunch, just a hunch mind ya, but I would not be shocked at all if our upbringing wasn’t entirely that much different from one another, lol… We might have to get together at some point via ‘messenger video’ or something and have a chat when it’s most convenient, could be interesting.🍻
