So tempted by the Glamlite palettes, but I feel like so far all three Glamlite horror palettes lack value diversity and transitional shades. I own and love the Chucky palette, however it’s a lot less versatile than I initially thought because you’re pretty much either getting a grungey purple eye look or variations of black smokey eyes.
I love that there is finally more Halloween/spooky themed makeup! I did get the Cosmic Brushes Gothic palette and I love it, but I passed on everything else for the same reasons you stated. I did also get Ladybug Glow’s Castle of Horrors- so good. I’m really happy with Angie’s OE collab, and your collabs with Shroud, but I do have FOMO for BB’s Basic Witch palette…Great video! 👻 🎃 🦇
I bought the Colourpop Haunted Mansion Palette and color changing lipgloss! I personally enjoy it a lot, but I completely agree with the lack of green! There was also a lot of repeat basic shades which bother me as well, but the vibes are fun! This video is really nice! I did pick up the Devour collection and it just occurred to me that I am so happy I did because (for me personally) the palette is what I had wanted the last Anastasia palette to look like! Market saturated lol 🎃👻🤡

I felt the same. I was hoping for some deep navy, burgundy reds, and some greys/blacks so that it wouldn’t seem so monochromatic. It was an easy pass for me and I LOVE Cosmic Brushes.
I did purchase the Gothic pallette, and in person, it's very beautiful, great quality, and I just love purple. Did I need it... no, but I am happy I did purchase it. I heard Repel Rouge Labs has a decent formula, and I am tempted to try it in the future. I am definitely on a no buy for a while. I ended up passing on everything except the Ghostface and Unearthlys Devour Collection. I kind of want the Gothic Palette, but with shipping I feel like it's too much for a small palette. If I could use 2 and split the shipping with my makeup BFF I totally would. But they don't let you buy two. So pass.

For me, I have to be careful and honest with myself about what colors I actually would wear on my face: SO many palettes have stunning color stories that I love to look at and would love to own, but often those colors don’t look good on me or I don’t have the makeup skills to apply them properly and make them look good. I learned this lesson the hard way with CP’s Baroque palette from a while ago. 🥲 Especially when it comes to fall/Halloween palettes, I LOVE dark, grungy colors and jewel tones, and I often buy clothing in those colors, but they just don’t always translate well into eye looks for me. 😭
I just tried Rebel Rouge Labs for the first time, actually just today put up my video doing 2 looks with this palette. The quality is really good in my opinion the mattes blended nicely and the shimmers were shimmering 👻☠️🦇🎃🖤
I'm waiting on the black p louise book palette, but I reaaally wish the palettes would be next to each other and not one on each side. makes it super hard to combine them for me at least, so totally agree with you. But I'm super excited to finally try the brand.
I ended up getting the Cosmic Brushes Gothic palette because it's what I wanted the Flight Club palette from Menagerie to be and I was so disappointed by it. It definitely doesn't give me total gothic vibes, though. I won't buy from Glamlite. Their CS is terrible and they continue to not address it. I loved their formula, but people not getting palettes and being ghosted and then deleting any IG comments about it is not a great way to run a business.

I bought the Gothic paletter only because I haven't been able to try any of their other palettes. If you have any other purple palettes, you do not need this. I know I will be limited with the kinds of looks I can get, but I will say the formula is beautiful
I have 11 unearthly palettes and I don't understand the hype. The mattes are usually patchy or look muddy when I blend them. The shimmers crease and move around on me too much. It really bums me out. I don't understand what I am doing wrong or how everyone else is getting these beautiful looks from the products. The only thing I wanted from the Devour collection was the lippies, but of course, it's only offered in the full collection. Total bummer.

It's mostly warm-leaning though so I skipped on it (also have all the purples in the world). I'm still eyeing the CP Haunted Mansion palette but by the time I placed an order with them, it wasn't even on the website.
Ugh man I got the CB gothic palette and I will tell you it’s so much more enchanting in person! But I admire your commitment to being picky! You probably don’t need it with how large of a palette collection you have. I’m excited to see what they’re coming out with for winter.
I really like the look of the Unearthly palette, but couldn't afford the whole collection box. I'll have to check their website now. I was disappointed about the WnW scooby doo collection because its so nostalgic for me. The products just looked boring. The 2 highlighters from the Profusion Casper collection are very cute so I'm glad I picked up those.
I just put a pre-order for the Devour palette and some other Unearthly goodies, really hyped to receive it (probably for Christmas though)💜 Honestly I would have much less restraint when buying new makeup but usually international shipping costs keep me at bay. Tim Burton is the executive producer/director of Wednesday. I worked on it, and let me tell you dream come true to work on a Tim Burton project. That being said, the Wednesday makeup collection looks mid, but I'd try the grayscale palette if I saw it in stores.
I bought the glamlite friday 13th palette, they have a large volume of orders so processing will take 3-4 weeks. my guess is that the freddy release was delayed because they're struggling with fulfilling the first 2 releases. 🦇👻
I was super excited about the Glamlite collabs and had planned on getting what I wanted after NOES launched but it never happened. Then I just saw they’re releasing it on Halloween… so it’s a pass. I know if I ordered it, it would take forever to get to me and by then it’s no longer fun. I know I can use it year round but there’s something about using scary movie palettes in October. But I’m with you..l spooky speaking was so overwhelming in the indie world. I’m kind of over it at this point. I did get the Gothic palette and LOVE it… but I’m purple eyeshadow addict. 🎃👻🖤🧛♀️
I feel the same about the P louise palettes, you just cant store it properly, its either you have to keep it vertical so the shades are on the side, but if you want to store it horizontaly there is always one of the sides where the shadows are upside down and everytime you are using it its again upside down and it just feels so unsettling, I could never do that to an eyeshadow, who would do that, not even a psychopath, its just nope
I appreciate your restraint. The neutral palettes are hitting maximum saturation in my home. I don’t need a lot of these grey scale palettes. There are so many releases and finding reasons to keep your card in your wallet makes sense 🖤🎃🧡
