Nice to see such a serious show on Ninjutsu. Most people tend to make fun and think of ninja as those assassin dressed in black, wearing a hood. I'm a Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu student from Brazil and it makes me very happy when I can watch documentaries like this one that can help me improve my knowledge. great video by Sensei Lee.. maybe some people will make fun of this video.. but when you understand and master the true essence of ninjutsu as did Sensei Lee, it is very deadly indeed..
Thank you for another entertaining and enlightening session with Sensei James Lee. His always smiling jovial look seems to mask a very knowledgeable and dangerous ninja.
The best part was the throwing session with his students - "roll away, why roll towards me?" advice to the girl was precious. :D
Notice how most of the actions are a variations of their basic forms shown in the beginning of the video! 5 forms with many variations, obvious and hidden
These were just fantastic! I really appreciate the deception! What do you do when ALL the people you will encounter are TRAINED? This adds a completely different dimension to training. Bruce Lee talked about this only briefly. Because most are just practicing in a basic way. Without intention. When everyone is equally trained, the FIRST to fall for any deception is the loser. Making you use your mind to hold you in place makes me reserve my energy. Something to always be mindful of. Thank you so much to all the sifu's and sensei's who teach!! Thank you to you martial man for these opportunities!!!

It looks tough, but based on my admittedly limited experience with James sensei, he does not train you in a way to intentionally make you feel pain. Underneath all that tough exterior, there is a warm side to him.
Again Master Lee and Mr. Krygier, Many thanks for a very interesting video giving insight into the self- defence, weponry and defence against cold weapons by evading them. What made me happy was to see some some evasive movements in the Goju ryu Katas for masters, like Saifa, or the late Soke Yoshimi ´s presentation on two handed blocking , just to name a few. Caltrops are brilliant 👏!, easy to make, 2 pieces of thick "wire" steel equal lengths and bend each to 90 °, and spot weld center. This way no matter how it lands, one point is always pointing directly upwards. Love em! Lol (cars are easily disabled in the same way)

I am a practitioner, and It will not solve your problems. It will not make you a good fighter. Although, it will teach you how to evade it in the first place. Best answer to bullying
/Harassment is standing your ground, talking to parents/principal (in case of a school), or, If envolves serious phisical violence, the police. The pratice will make you a better and tougher person, but it will not make you win all fights nor stop you from getting robbed.

Keith Ong I believe Sensei Lee has studied Wing Chun before but is no longer practicing the art. There is a Wing Chun teacher who teaches at the same school that is why the dummy is there.

there fear engulfs them and they freeze...the benefit to training men is they have No fear and will stand against any man beast or other .....the RAGE consumes the Man he goes blind ....victory is the only option at this point....
there are always exceptions. drawing a box to confine your thought is generally not a good idea

@Kaen Awoken good luck with that bullshit, it may work against 90 lbs old men. But with that mentality if you get into a real fight you are going to have a rude awakening and probably a broken nose. What are you gonna do? Eye gouge and hair pull? These fancy finesse take downs and one claw strikes are not going to stop a man.

Carzo Parazzo I trained in bujinkan for 5 years. I am a black belt have multiple friends that are black belts. There is no real sparring or simulated death training. A Bjj blue belt would wreck any bujinkan black belt. We all train Bjj and kick boxing now and we all think bujinkan is a joke. Take any bujinkan guy and throw them in a Bjj tournament. They will get fucked up. In mma they will get fucked up. It may have been decent in the 80s but no one takes this shit seriously except delusional LARPers.
