For the rim I will sculpt lily flowers (6 cm in diameter). I will use a large chain (link 22 * 28mm). And natural pearls (9-10 mm). Crystal beads 6 * 4mm. You also need a thin base for the rim, and a strip of black felt 30 * 5.5 cm.

I really love lilies, but because of the protruding stamens, I did not know how they can be used in the rims! Thanks a lot to the fashion designer, they have already created a lily suitable for this, I just spied on the design! The headband design is completely mine! For the headbands, it is more practical to use polymer clay that is baked. Since, she is not afraid of water. And brand clay of good quality, very strong and elastic.

The only difference is that after drying, you need to apply several layers of varnish on a hand-made clay product, at least 2! And this must be done on all sides of the product. For baked clay flowers, one layer of varnish on the outside is enough to fix the pattern and pigment.
For the lily stamens, I used translucent clay (special series). Of course, it is easier to buy the right clay. If your cold porcelain that you make according to your recipe is transparent enough, then you can use it. It is not necessary to make clay (cold porcelain) according to my recipes, but do not forget to be sure to apply 2-3 coats of varnish.
