This could be a game we win and gives us some momentum
MSU is unlikely to make a bowl game if they can’t win this. It could still be possible if they close out the season strong, but it’d make everything more difficult. Additionally, I think this game will be decided within the first half, if MSU comes out strong and leads at half by a TD, we win. If that’s not the case, then that would probably mean Maryland is in firm control.
If Chiles and the offense can get the passing game going (especially if we can get Velling going) we have a good chance at beating Maryland in this game

Reading your post makes me sad and nostalgic for days when Big Ten teams especially MSU competed against Notre Dame annually. It was the only time where I rooted for Michigan when playing against ND.
Unfortunately we ain't facing Notre Dame this time which is sad since beating Notre Dame was my 2nd favorite thing under beating Michigan
