Spartans haven’t put together a really good game yet, BC score with mizzou is flooky, Florida state is trash, Spartans win because they have a better coach.

Something I payed attention to, and that’s important to note about BC: Whilst they’re certainly a solid team around, especially defensively and having a dual threat QB, I think their performance against Mizzou was a little inflated. When you watch the highlights, BC scored 3 TD’s total. The first came after Mizzou’s CB slipped twice, the other two came on COMPLETELY blown coverages. A JUCO team could’ve fielded a better pass defense than Mizzou did.

Inside run game is trash regardless of which running back Kayron lynch just so happens to have more outside runs

BCs O line is better than average. They played well vs Missouri, which has a very good D line...a solid overall team. BC has likely pros in the near future. Our O line is already questionable due to injury, so let's not get carried away. Aside from all the crap teams from out west, the B10 is a meat grinder.

Inside run game is lacking but i still think 10-2 is very achievable. We are gonna heavily lean on the defense the last 6 games

I think KFord ratings had MSU at 3-4 wins if I’m correct… I said a few weeks ago that’s a horrible prediction. Looks like I was more than right.

Msu wins 28-17 or 31-21

If MSU can cut these penalties down and limit stupid mistakes, I think we can win even with our injuries. BC’s QB is small yet very agile and can be a threat on the ground. I expect MSU to get in his face with their hands up and cloud his vision downfield whilst hitting him good a few times.

I think 50 or less penalty yards and no more than +1 turnover margin and we win. Without both of those things, it's ts a toss up and will depend on explosive plays and mistakes on their end

One sack per game allowed so far. And you could argue, because of how it's calculated in CFB, 2 of those were on Aidan. I don't see the fear of our O-line. It'll depend on how the relationship between Aidan and his guys manifest. Once they learn his play style he won't get touched at all. Hopefully 😅

Secondly, it would be interesting to find out what caused the need for a former walk on Tanner Miller to be needed at Oregon state and the record of the team the years he started

If the starters on the O line have not looked great as far as run blocking the drop off from young or walk on that's are being coached well can't be that big

What's the story with Cole Dellinger? I'm wondering if he's still injured or just slow to recover from injury or develop? Seems like if he was healthy he'd be in the rotation with the injuries on the oline.

It was never close, but there were a few times when PV started moving the ball down the field, only to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties. They got in the backfield a few times as well and TFL'd MSU.

I’m a big fan of Brian I remember going to a Michigan State basketball game and he was there. I went up to grab Some popcorn for me and my wife and he came out and I said to him I apologize for bothering you but can I get you to sign my hat and he said no problem you ain’t bothered me at all he was super cool.

Brian Lewerke had that great season in 2017. Beat the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. Won 10 games including a 42-17 pasting of Washington State in The Holiday Bowl. Good to see him in the podcast. Don’t take Prairie View for granted. Never do that.
