You talking about the fall snowstorm in 2011 that came before the leaves dropped and just ripped down trees everywhere?

@@HilltownCT That hit on what was supposed to be my first day of work (at a real employer) but luckily I had already found out it's better to keep the tank above half at all times and fill up at every stop. I still remember having to get up early to hit the gas station after a prior hurricane made everyone rush the stations and said I ain't doing that again. If I had a garage I'd look for one of these caddies.

Good idea. Should definately try to find ethanol free gas for long term storage, plus some fuel stabalizer.

Thanks. I wish we had ethanol free in our area, but I’ve never seen it.

@@HilltownCT You get about 6-12 months max without stabalizer with ethanol gas. Ethanol free lasts for years. In a lot of rural areas I most often see it at smaller mom and pop joints.

@@TheTurpin1234 Here in Texas, ethanol free gas is available at most Murphy stations at your local Walmart. I run the ethanol free gas in all my small engine equipment AND my wife's Dodge Magnum. The Magnum gets better mileage on the ethanol free than regular (89 octane) gas.
