- "The Hash" panel discusses the specifics, reactions, and implications for the Bank of England reportedly telling its ministers to decide whether a central bank digital currency (CBDC) should be "programmable," allowing the issuer to control the way the recipient spends it. "All they see is a potential to further control the choices of individuals in how they spend their money," host Naomi Brockwell said.
