"gradually add the flour mixture"
*pours the whole thing in*
XDXDXXXDDD 😹
They're trying to be fancy. I don't want fancy, it's going inside my mouth anyways
nicole smith OMG I do that all the time!
Hahaha! I thought The same
nicole smith your profile pic is perfect for this
I'm not sure what I just made, but I'm scared to eat it
LOL😂😂😂😂👍🏻
BlueSpongeGaming hahahhaahhaah
For me i have a rule and that rule is i must eat its a stupid rule i know
I agree. My crepes turned out almost like pudding or something. 2 cups of milk to one cup flour, and three eggs? Sounds like too little flour.
Lol
1 cup flour
1tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
sift
3 eggs
2 cups milk
beat
add flour to eggs and milk
2 tbs melted butter & mix
Ur a god
What kind of flour? Rice flour ?
Just use all purpose.
Not the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed.
What's the portion ratio
"Gradually add the flour mixture..." *Dumps the entire bowl in* O_o
I like a how everyone copied you, bug got more likes...
I know, late comment
But*
I was thinking the exact same thing lol
I don't think it matters if you dump all of the flour in or not. She is using a hand held electric beater. As much as I don't want to I will be using my hand held beater next time I make these so the flour and liquid is mixed good.
This video reminded me of 1990s infomercials at 2am
lol
0:58 the egg whites on the table look like a smiley face😂
candy twist 😂😂 yes just noticed
nice observational skills
Thanks for your question. Mixing the ingredients in one bowl should work OK, just make sure you sift the dry ingredients together first, and beat the eggs lightly before adding to the bowl. Hope that helps!
We're so glad you gave them a try! Thanks for your comments :)
How wonderful! So happy you loved this recipe - thank you so much for letting us know.
That's disappointing, Askgdf Askgdf. We know how frustrating it is to not have a recipe work out. Here are some tips to help you be more successful on the next try.
If there are too many bubbles, that usually indicates the batter was over-beaten. Creating too much air in the batter will make large air bubbles visible while cooking. Then they'll pop and leave holes or bumps. Not what you want.
Also, did you let the batter "rest" in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to an hour? Overnight is even better if you can plan ahead. This step is important because it lets the gluten develop and bond with the eggs and milk.
Some cooks also recommend heating the milk and butter--just to warm--so the butter stays evenly distributed through the batter.
Do you have a dedicated crêpe pan? One used just for crêpes? They're inexpensive ($20), and their thin, flat surface ensures even cooking.
Hope these tips help and you try the recipe again. We bet you're going to be a pro at making crepes in no time!
+wikkispirit Moon that is not a reason to call him an idiot... it was just a question.
right...
The pointers above are very helpful. Thank you for them. However, how much more useful it might have been to have provided them in the video. Things like that are just the things your viewers would find useful.
Allrecipes so can I just put all the flower in at once or gradually doesn't look like you gradually put it in so I guess il put it in fast
Good question, Gaming with Niko. Gradually is recommended because it allows the flour to mix more thoroughly with the other ingredients. It won't splash around either. Happy crepe-making!
Thank you for your question, Rachel. You can certainly make the crepes the night before and keep them refrigerated. Try stacking them between layers of parchment or wax paper for ease. Enjoy!
I have always had problems making crepes, this recipe was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much! Xx
Thank you for your question. It is best to let the batter rest for an hour in the refrigerator. If you are in a hurry, some Allrecipes members have had great success using the batter right away.
Hi Emilee, thanks for your question. If you have a mesh sifter that will work! Or just using a whisk to break up any lumps will work as well. Enjoy :)
That's great to hear! Thanks for your feedback :)
Sounds good! Thank you for your tip.
Thank you for your question, Yay Pandas. You can try sour cream, cream cheese, a mix of mascarpone cheese with ricotta and sugar. Enjoy!

Thank you for your question, Vianney. If you are holding the batter for more than thirty minutes, it's best to keep it in the refrigerator.

I added to my finished crepe: half teaspoon of strawberry preserve spread out, and a teaspoon of sour cream spread out, then fold the crepe and...yummyness!
Super simple to make and turned out great! And the 1st crepe was not a "throw away." I filled mine with toasted walnuts, pecans and cooked apples/cinnamon/sugar. Delicious! 😋
I am from Bulgaria, and crepes are like part of our culture you can order them in any restaurant. Back home we call them pancakes.(We do not have the American style pancakes.) I have made crepes before from a recipe given to me by my mom, but Your recipe turned out like the crepes I have eat at restaurants. They TURNED OUT just PERFECT. Thank You. I like mine filled with honey and crushed walnuts.

Throughout the video, I was expecting some random ingredient to pop up that an everyday person wouldn't have, but I was pleased to find out there wasn't! Definitely going to try this out. Thanks for the recipe.
Gradually add the flour mixture. *pours the whole bowl of flour in* 😂😂

Thank you so much for the recipe! My mom always made them awfully oily but this is what I was always asked for. Wonderfully tasty, thank you :)
Glad you liked the recipe, Kristine Red-Hair! Your mom would be proud of you for making crêpes!

Definitely great recipes, thanks guys for sharing.
I followed your recipe and WOW, I didn't realize crepes can be so GOOD. I've tried already made crepes you buy in the store and box mixes but both were tough and had a nasty taste. I will be having the same thing in the morning since I have some left. Thanks for the very delicious recipe.
Hi asha, sorry that you are having issues with this video! Can you try opening UA-cam in a different browser and see if that helps?
I just made these and I can't believe how easy it was!! Thank you, Allrecipes.

Just made these savory and dessert crepes. My family loved both variations! :)
i love this recipe! it works so great, i make these all the time!!!!
Fantastic recipe. I was nervous but these came out great. Sooo good!
Made these today, with goat cheese, strawberries, and berry compote. Delicious! The first ones stuck to the pan, and the butter browned and smoked, so I turned down the heat. After 2 minutes they lifted right off stainless and flipped perfectly. The right temperature is key. Medium high on some cook tops may be too hot. I got 6 out of the recipe, and they were gone in minutes.
I made this for my sister and she loved it alott thanks +all recipes 😍😍😘😘😘😘
Thank you for your question. If you are making savory crepes, olive oil is fine to use. If you would like these crepes filled with something sweet, we would recommend using vegetable oil instead. Enjoy!
I love this channel !!! Thank you so much for posting this video :') I really want have my own bakery someday! :)
Thank you so much, Veida! Good luck with the bakery :)
Me and my sister made one for breakfast with strawberry and bananas as a toppings and it was delicious!! Definitely making this again!

Thank you, they turned out wonderful! The batter was just enough to make 5 13" crepes! Filled them with a all natural strawberry spread mixed with some sour cream and some fresh masticated strawberries and hazelnut spread. I amazed myself that they turned out so good!
I wonder if I replace milk with butter milk and fill it with a sausage pepper filling and drizzle a nice thinned pepper gravy?
Thanks,it tastes so delicious!
Ishbart - absolutely! Soy milk will work just fine in this recipe. Enjoy :)

I'm CRAVING nutella and strawberries filled crepes!!! thanks for the vid, really easy recipe!
You may substitute oil in place of the butter, Arianxxkie Dabu, but the flavor of the crêpes won't be as rich.
Allrecipes Hi, I was going to make these for mothers day tomorrow. I started reading some of the comments and I read "be sure to let it rest overnight" do i have to do that... PLEASE HELP!
Yes, you want to do this, Aubrey Alexander. Sorry if it messes up your schedule. “Resting” the batter allows the gluten to develop, which will improve the flavor and texture. Refrigerate the batter overnight to let it rest thoroughly. This hydrates the flour and also allows the gluten to develop and relax, which will improve the flavor and texture. Hope this helps.
Allrecipes you are a god
