- On the Birth Anniversary of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Adivi Sesh remembers his very first day on the sets of #MajorTheFilm. The two-and-a-half-year journey has been an emotional roller coaster for each one of us. Everything about him, be it his childhood days, his training days, his love, or the courage he showed, has inspired us in every way.
It brings us immense pleasure to bring his story to life.
Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma and will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam on 27th May, 2022.

I watched it on Netflix and was impressed because it turned out to be real life. I salute Major Sandeep. I have great respect for him. He sacrificed his life to save someone. I salute his bravery.
Hats off to the team major, the way the team major portrayed sir's life, and for not letting sir's reputation down. A promise that was kept. Truly feeling proud as an audience.

The last film I watched in cinemas was Oh Baby...!! After which no super star, or power star, or stylish star or any other self accredited star for that matter could draw me to the cinemas... I confined myself happily to OTT until "Major" happened...I certainly do not regret visiting the cinemas....!!
Sesh Sunny Chandra....please continue making films purely out of passion and love for the art....I know you won't succumb to the idea of "mass image" or "super stardom"....And you will eventually carve a niche that's bigger, better and farther...You can be sure of that...!!
