Thought that was going to be a short video, but here we are with a 12 minute one again 😅

FIRST TO REACT TO YOUR COMMENT AGAIN🎉🎉 JUST TO SHOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS😮
Don't worry about the video length. I, personally, enjoy longer ones more than shorter ones and I'm sure a lot of people share this opinion, so don't be sorry
I loved how well that omnimechanum car worked in the end. Was supercool
These keep getting more and more impractical and I love it
Well that’s rude
The fact he’s putting in the effort to make this content is more than any armchair twerp that keeps sending hateful remarks.
Ask any mechanical engineer and they will tell you all 7000 cases where these are incredibly useful and optimal to use
@@RailsofForney If this is apparently so rude of me, explain why 2in1 bricking hearted my comment. I did not say anything rude, I am expressing my love of these impractical but interesting and unique mechanisms.
Absolutely
The third one is amazing. The smoothness and adjustability it offers is great.
The servos are pricey, however, if you’re looking for an alternative, CADA makes their own motor packs for ~$50 and it comes with multiple motors.
Yeah, nowadays using non-Lego is heaps cheaper and same to better than Lego
@@BuilderBasti the 'LEGO Tax"
These Lego Building ideas are a goldmine for builders.
Another way to steering is using the subtractor, in a vehicle with tracks
I've never realized the difference between omni wheels and mecanum wheels until now! Cool to learn something new again..
Really useful, since i destroyed over 10 logo motors and few cada servos gave up on me.
I really liked how you did the steering with the wheel rotation gear!
yes, but there's an easier way to do it; it uses less parts even with the make shift servo. but over all, i think he did a great job
highly sophisticated :-)
Another awesome video
before servos the community was really inton finding good RTC mechanisms like the one you proposed, the most "competitive" one, used in LTR and LTC was with the lego hockey slammer spring piece and M motor, super compact and quite realiable
Thanks, i dont have a lego servo, and your video was very useful!!
Really good ❤
Thx bro love u (brotherly way huh) :)
Driven Steering might be seen in some toy-grade rc cars
Mostly seen in AWD Hobby-grade cars

What do you mean “they break easily under load”? I use plenty of those joints under load (Just look at their Technic Heavy-Duty Tow Truck, for example) and they work fine.
cool
bro really loves Omniwheels (I do too)
Is it very custom
will it damage the motor...
Will the next video be on ways to lift heavy objects with legos? The maximum weight limit can be 5 pounds for simplicity.
If you guys want to make no. 1 steering without the clutch i recommend to use fake L motors since if they break you can buy another one for a very cheap price
Yeah, they won't exactly "break", but the stopping could deform the planetary gears inside so that the motor turns less smoothly. But I wouldn't recommend buying a $50 original motor for anything, not only for this.
@@in1 don't think we have any hope for lego to continue pf again
@@in1 also update: i have a mouldking servo motor now and it's faster than lego's which is a big advantage
Caster and KPI could solve the servo issue tbh.
I bet that omnimechanum car is better than any other car steering system
Yeah, the wheels are not really efficient or practical but it's fun to watch
I decided to send the link to your video to another youtuber, j.k.brickworks, cause he made a lego domino machine and he said the steering mechanism isn't efficient @in1
Exactly, there's a reason why there aren't any real cars with this kind of steering. Would probably look funny, though
Doesn't servo act similarly to differencial?
no
I don't think is a good idea to use a pf motor with constant turn, to use as a servo, as they are not step motors (as all the control+ motors). This turn on and turn off sequences in a long period of time could damage the motor. I don't have many experience on that, but from what I know that should be a thing
good video but i use powered up
That should work too, the motors are interchangeable
The first way was the cheap rc car way
You can give me credit for it if u want to 😊

In your Thundnail you show a picture of a steering system with the heading "No Servo", but first you show a steering system with a servo! This is called clickbait
No? Did you watch more than 30 seconds of the video?
