You won me over at “I’d love to see the Eiffel Tower on the Spanish Flag.” I said to myself, “this is a man who knows what he’s talking about and should be listened to!” Being an Australian me-self, I think we should deffo have a national landmark like Schönbrunn Palace on our national flag.
That’s the exact moment my interest in this video went to zero and stopped watching it. What a disappointment, you would think someone that does this type of videos regularly, would have an eye for detail for these typos and if it’s a joke then say it. My feedback would be take it down, edit it and repost again (maybe tone down on the jokes)
@@tenista2182 shame about that. It’s quintessential Aussie humour. We all know one of the world’s most famous landmarks is in Paris, France so we don’t need to spell it out that it’s a joke. Telling people it’s a joke reduces the humour we experience in it. It’s definitely a cultural thing here.
as an Indonesian, thank you for highlighting Jakarta International Stadium (JIS)! My workplace literally less than 3 km away from it, and the stadium itself also spark renovation settlements and nearby river rehabilitation too, which is great. In addition, there is also an exclusive busway line (transjakarta) to the stadium, although the supplies still minor. Im looking forward for major football events happening in there P.S. Shoutout too for nasi goreng! But you have to try it with Rendang sauce or Satay side dish. Absolute bangers!
About the “the only stadium to be named after a company in a city named after that company” Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA is another example. I went and saw Guns N Roses there last summer
As a Bangladeshi, I was intrigued with which one you might come up with for us when I started watching the video. We are not known for our picturesque stadium architecture after all, and deep inside I was thinking that "The Boat" would have surely made the cut if it existed at this point in time. I was pleasantly surprised when you included the Sylhet stadium in this list, such a quaint little stadium reminiscent of Cape Town (or Durban?) cricket stadium. Also, having had the privilege of watching a football match in the Singapore national stadium, what a beauty it is! Absolute world class aesthetics and facilities.
The subtle homages to KP and Rockbusters always get me. Great video as always, friend. If looking for ideas, maybe the URC in rugby or the Irish GAA stadiums, some of them are pretty large, Maybe one ofr each county?
I think the entry would be Faisal Al-Husseini stadium. I guess they aren't mentioned since they don't have full UN membership status (I think they should be and strongly believe in a 2 state solution with the 1967 borders, splitting Jerusalem in half.)
I was really hoping you would use the saida stadium in lebanon and not camille chamoun and you didnt disappoint. Appreciate the work you put into this video to actually put the nicest stadiums in esch country.
That was great, and the variety of nations covered is like no other continent, So much scope for drilling down deeper into each nation. I want the top 10 of North Korea 😅.
Eiffel Tower on the Spanish flag? Umm... For India, you should have gone with the Azar Maidan. It's not technically a stadium but it has twenty-two pitches and sometimes all of them are in use at the same time. You have to have amazing reflexes and eyes in the back of your head. Great video as always!
Close to my home town are a small stadium named after an IT firm. Zitcom Stadium. It was earlier sponsored by a webhosting company and was called Wannafind Stadium. I can see the joke. So you Wannafind Stadium then you better start looking...
Yes Indonesian 🇮🇩 in Indonesia there are still many good stadiums such as the Banten international stadium. and in Indonesia there are many islands such as Java, Sumatra, Aceh, Papua, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, Madura, and many inland people such as Dayak Baduy. traditional foods such as meatballs, fried rice, satay, mutton leg soup and many more. Indonesia has many religions, from Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Protestantism, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, various religions, ethnicities and languages but one goal. Sundanese, Javanese, Bugis, Betawi, Batak and others
I used to visit Ahwas on a regular basis and even attended a football match on one new years day in their previous stadium. Fooled means steel and Ahvaz is the home of the steel industry and I guess that's who paid for the stadium
Philippine Arena deserves the credit somehow, owned by a religious group Iglesia ni Cristo, is one of the sportsplace along the Ciudad de Victoria complex in Baliwag, Bulacan. edit: PhilSports Arena are also located inside the CDV complex, and an intermodal terminal in the east side of the arena.
Some of your best work but dude, Galle Stadium in Sri Lanka is amazing. How many stadiums are right next to the ocean and built next to a 300 year old fort?
Sorry gonna have to say it, Nepal is not the only country that doesn’t have a rectangular flag, Switzerland also doesn’t because their flag is a square, not a rectangle.
3:55 - Applause. I live in Taiwan. 17:40 - The Float in Singapore's Marina Bay is more fun. The grandstands (which are used as part of the F1 race, where "crashgate" happened) hold 27,000 seats. There's more than one platform, one for football and another for concerts or similar events. 18:20 - Forget that kpop crap, look into South Korea's underground and punk scene. It's still vibrant after 30 years with plenty of new bands (watch?v=u-GyXUrEo3Q / watch?v=WYodkE6Xpfs / watch?v=sgnjnNI5ktQ). It's one of the few things I miss about SK.
I thought you would choose a Roman amphitheater as the best stadium in Jordan. It's weird that a football-obsessed country of 10M people has a stadium of only 30k as its largest and best!
Shame that Suwon didn't make the top in South Korean list, although honorably mentionned. The seating coloring is beautiful as the roof and deserves a shoutout!

I slightly disagree with the choice for the my Dinh national stadium because I think Thien Truong Stadium is slightly better but My Dinh is still quite good
Thank you!!!! For acknowledging that the stadium in North Korea being the “biggest in the world” could easily be propaganda. I’ve been a stadium enthusiast most of my life. For years the North Koreans claimed it seated 150k. Then one day they just started claiming it’s actually 114k. Still the biggest in the world but by a much more believable margin. Personally I think it’s just propaganda. Especially when one of its main purposes is to hold festivals celebrating their “Great Leaders”, if they wanna brag about the amazing crowd sizes they get for those events, lying about the stadiums actual capacity would make sense
TBF, they might have added some more seats if it was standing capacity which could have reduced capacity. Or maybe they count people on the pitch as well?

I think the entry would be Faisal Al-Husseini stadium. I guess they aren't mentioned since they don't have full UN membership status (I think they should be and strongly believe in a 2 state solution with the 1967 borders, splitting Jerusalem in half.)
If the AFC was the sole criteria - where is Australia (yes it was once on the OFC) and geographically is not in Asia
And that while Israel is in Asia, they play in UEFA, perhaps to avoid playing its Arab neighbors.
Is Palestine a country?
