It's crazy to think that just a few years ago I told myself that I would never play this game because it looked like another clickbait game that companies put out to turn a profit. Now I can't put it down and tell my friends about it. This series is bringing a new life to this game and making me want to play it anymore. Props to the animators, developers, and everyone involved in the making of this series and the game itself!

This really was awesome. The fact that the listened, saw the excitement of the fines, and put in the effort to do all this is amazing. The story was pretty good and the animation was good. Iwould love to see more stuff about the other factions like the Shadow Kin and others.

I LOVE ARBITER'S VOICE ACTRESS!!! I can't get over how good and perfectly cast she is!!!! I love the arbiter so much!! Tomorrow marks my 1st year playing this game. I play it religiously and now we have these short movies that I watch like it's actual Netflix serious and I Love It. Thanks to everyone involved for the hard work and effort into making this great game.

I like the way that at the end, with a promise of another season, it is kind of left that us, the players, are to carry on the battle as we engage with the game.

@RaidShadowLegends See and I have a working headcanon theory as to what is or would be to come in my fanlore. I remember in the Arbiter's episode she "had become weary of basically a cyclic conflict with the likes of Siroth and Kazar (only Siroth's latest minion/vessel). But in that episode she admitted to perceiving a "greater conflict" or "destiny" or something. I'll get back to that...First hear me out as to why I came up with head canon.
A lot of players are calling for a more co-op strat warlike feature for The Clans in-game. This is something I imagine the devs have been purposely avoiding so as not to basically become or make gameplay and mechanical mistakes as other well known mmorpg-type games that came before. Nevertheless it was fairly inevitable once the feature of clans became part of the game. So of course being among those who are a fan of those genres and hybrids I decided that to do so means lore has to be created for "clans"... and the fact that each player must naturally represent some part of the lore as indicated in this finale.
So let me reveal some of the head lore I've generated and it'd be nice if I could get feedback from you letting me know if I'm anywhere close to the mark.
Backdrop: The defeat of Bad el Kazar is a fairly foregone conclusion on its face. However as surely the Arbiter already knows, the defeat of Khazar is NOT necessarily the defeat of Siroth. Kazar is a mere tool or pawn of Siroth and his defeat may very well have been a part of Siroth's plan or contingency all along. In my head lore Siroth's goal with Kazar was already much accomplished in the act of marshalling and unleashing the forces of "darkness" aligned with his name back into the world. Siroth's goal in this phase is chaos itself and a breaking of what is left of the established order(s) in Teleria (and lore knows where else.)
Furthermore...
As far as Siroth is concerned, by gathering her champions together despite the rivalrous disposition of the various factions they came from, she has actually played right into his hands. Because NOW the heroes who would be celebrated for breaking the looming tyranny of Bad el Kazar are NOT symbols of the established order of things but each rather somewhat outcasts from them.
Culturally/socio-politically Teleria should now be divided into two or more IN-distinct cultures regardless of faction or alliance...
Those who celebrate and take solace in the "return of the Arbiter" and spiritual/cultural justice...
...and those who either see her as a heretical abomination...
or otherwise would prefer to simply still cling to the old and likely corrupted way of things and alliances.
By itself this erosion of popular trust in the established factions and alliances should lead to new schisms, factions, and alliances...in other words CLANS(circumstantial/ideological).
but...
"Players'"
Ostensibly, by itself and given the state of things, "parties" would form to restore order or simply seize advantages in vacuums of power...in the Arbiter and/or Lumaya's name, or even some perhaps invoking Siroth
but that...
ALONG with any prophecy that another champion must or will be "called" opens the floodgate for upstarts and powerful characters seeking to fulfill that role.
Opening stages of the campaign even seem to demonstrate that Teleria is well on its way to a socio-politically transitional condition. Much of my inspiration comes from game play itself as my mind had to create h/c to emotionally survive grinding the campaign.
The story leading into Aravia's campaign battle reinforced my h/c: The power dynamics of the Banner Lords and (what I considered) their patron regime in Aravia had shifted irrevocably and my secondary string of champions were simply putting down insurgents and hirelings trying to seize or "protect" the absent monarch's throne. It seemed to me that Kaerock Castle and its lands had descended into a "gang" infested chaos as lesser nobles attempted to seize opportunities or felt great mistrust about what MY forces where doing there.
So you see the events of the Limited Series and the gameplay together produce a situation where ruling legitimacy is constantly and rightfully challenged from one perspective or another.
Throw in the idea that anyone could be "the chosen one" for those who support the Arbiter's cause, and you have a powder keg of heroes, champions, ambitious nobles, clans, and tribes vying for either or both of power and legitimacy similar to the fall of the Han Dynasty in China.
Clan's and The alliances of old fanlore:
The moment Bad el Kazar is defeated not only represents a moment when his marshalled forces and minions are suddenly faced with a power vacuum but also signals the moment the Arbiter and her champions become the most politically powerful collective in Teleria. The suddenly become a viable alternative to the long wearying traditional faction based organizations in Teleria. The story arcs of each member of her team demonstrates the weakness of the status quo. Each has in some way betrayed or been betrayed by their faction and therefore also the traditional alliances they are affiliated with. But there are even more factions who are not even represented by any member of the Arbiter's team.
What does Kael and Elhain's story signal for the unification of The High and Dark Elves? How does this effect the priorities of the Sylvan Watchers?
How much does Jizoh's heroic efforts in destroying Bad eL Kazar inspire enough pride and honor to the lost legacy of the Dragonlings so that they might rise out of the sewers and marshes to demand respect and fairness if not deference from their Banner Lords and Sacred Order Oppressors?
Does Galek's place in history now afford him the legitimacy to assume a role as chieftain equal to if not greater enough to demystify his father and associates' racist reign of terror upon Tilshire?
Is the glory obtained by Gnut not the moment that the reckless and arrogant King Duran has awaited to declare his lineage paramount over all dwarves and proclaim the right to recover that heritage by any means? What remains in the world of the Arbiter's enchantments, weapons, and armor now that her enemy Bad eL Kazar has been vanquished?
Will Ultimate Deathknight come forward and reveal what he knows of The Arbiter's vision for The Faction of Undead and will his alter-ego/counterpart Not-Ultimate DeathKnight stand with him or instead, at every step, undermine any efforts to normalize and bring dignity to undeath?
For each one of these questions would surely give rise to parties of those who would answer them with their hearts, minds, sweat and tears. Eventually these would find kindred souls from every race, dwelling, and faction, who shares their beliefs, visions, and struggles for what greatness should remain in the Teleria that is to come.
Checking and coloring the rise of clans of course would be their perceived fidelity or overthrow for the outmoded interests of the existing somewhat chauvinist specie/racial factions and alliances.
I really need more on the history and disposition of the Revenant, Shadowkin, Skinwalker, and Sylvan factions to fully understand their roles in any potential lore of a clannish Teleria but these just seem like further checks against the powers of the more reknowned High Elf, Lizard Men(Dragons), Banner Lord, Sacred Order, Orc, Dark Elf, and Demonspawn factions.
SO I have shared head lore for The Clans now onto the Arbiter and her new "vision".
The Greater Conflict
We don't even know if her vision is of a means to defeat Siroth or great evil threatening the world once and for all. I of course have imagined a cannon where her epiphany is that she must stop trying to defeat Siroth with brute force but rather after this final battle, truly defeat not the being himself, but his will to destroy...with a new strategy probably noone has attempted before...love...and the prospect of being banished with her to a new plane of reality where they can war or love alone as 2 new Archons without threatening the fates of other beings. She has realized or come to believe that their obsession with an endless ongoing conflict is actually an obsession with defeating one another...an obsession with...each other. Her failure has been to love, and vow to protect, the innocent beings of Teleria but never considering how to extend the power of that unconditional, perhaps transformative, love to her enemy...realizing...considering that perhaps that has been the pivotal fatal flaw in her strategy. And part of the greater conflict she has perceived is the inner conflict to set aside her revulsion and discern how best to truly sacrifice herself ENDING the conflict...even if it means...TO Siroth...on behalf of the innocent and even the many less innocent beings inhabiting Teleria, and its plane of existence...but you know, thats just my sexy take on things.
Imagine the impact of a final episode of THAT series... As The Arbiter's champions of Teleria must realize at the last moment what her true plan is...and what it means for their fellowship, and the world.
At the very moment when it actually seems their VICTORY is at hand (for when is a sacrifice truer than when it is given NOT at the moment when it is the only hope of a compromise but rather at the moment when it seems to be a complete offering of mercy and charity?) For them it would be the ultimate sacrifice of their goddess and what has stood as their only hope TO the enemy they have fought so bitterly against, when it is already defeated...but in a way that the wisest of them realizes is the only way to neutralize the conflict once and for all.
F**k yeah! The end gave me chills. I want more!

This series was a great succes, the only thing we wanted is even longer episodes. Plarium and the studio really did a great job. This adds a lot of flavour to the game.
We're quite invested now, we'll be waiting for season 2. We all love seeing all the champs and bosses on screen, the lore and the relationships between the different characters.

I did not expect to like the series, now i want more.
This episode felt like it should've been longer as the finale, but it was still done well. 🎉 👏
Solid series though I do think the first few episodes were a little clearer story-wise and that the last few episodes could have really used some extra time to flesh out Bad El Khazar and his plan. I like the little cameos from the various bosses and other characters and I think that this has a lot of potential. I still have a few gripes with the animation i.e. that the faces of the humans and elves are a little off but I definitely like the creatures and non-humanoids. I think it was comptently directed and voice-acted though the dialogue was a little clunky at times.
All in all a pleasant surprise and something I really hope continues. I'm kinda hoping we see this Siroth guy who everyone's talking about and he kinda just wipes the floor with the heroes who will have to overcome the odds to finally defeat him. And yeah, longer episodes would be great in fleshing out the story as well!

As a sort of season finale, that was a real wet queef of an ending.
If you aren't already a fan of RSL, you have no reason to come back for the second season (assuming there will be one).
But the rest of the episodes leading up to this one slapped.
Thank you! All these people calling this a masterpiece must either be bots or plarium employees. The way they tried to cram the entire game into this episode is basically them telling you there's not going to be a season 2. And the overall story for season 1 really made no sense to me. Why was everything so drastically different from the campaign of the game?

Great series overall. I hope they decide to release something that is fully fleshed out and create a normal full run series out of it. The world is full of lore and material to play with. These were great but overly short and missing so much context.
