Saw Peter Noone at Foxwoods three years ago. He still looks young and in great shape; like he never ages OMG LOL. He lays on his thick English accent and he sounds great!
Peter was good friends with John Lennon. They’d go to pubs together. Peter was too young to order alcohol drinks, so Peter would order 2 cokes, while John, would order 2 glasses of rum. I just Love this story. Who didn’t try games like this......;)
I had such a crush on Mr Peter Noone and the Hermits I must have been in third grade we used to sing their songs on the school playground before the bell rang. ❤️💕😍🤩😎👍❤️
I have Phyllis' Diller's Housekeeping Hints too! She signed it for me in 1967 at Topanga Plaza Mall,, Pickwick bookstore. She wrote, "Gary, you are a magnificent, thoughtful person. Love, Phyllis Diller." I always thought that was so incredible that she would rake the time to write so much with that long line of other autograph seekers behind me! Herman, do you still have your copy???
Saw Peter at the Apache Casino in Lawton Oklahoma a couple of years ago. He has a good backing band, does all the Hermits hits and a few other British invasion songs. Afterwards he stayed around and signed autographs and sold CD's and albums. Let people take pictures with him.
Gosh O' Hemlock, as Andy Hardy would say, how has it been over thirty sears since I've heard these two charmers of songs? By the equally charming Herman's Hermits. Many thanks for posting and to fellow commenters for commenting.
TAKE MY ADVICE LISTEN TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND CHURCH AND I HOPE THAT YOU WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND A GREAT TIME AND A LOT OF LOVE WISHED TO YOU WITH ❤ YOUR LOVED ONES 😍 ❤ ♥ 💙
Merci pour ce double partage en live Personnellement je préfère Dandy mais les Herman's Hermits sont formidables J'adore leus voix Agréable à écouter et à regarder Bons chanteurs et bons musiciens

‘66? Ah, Jr High school. The time of the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Yardbirds, The Who, The Animals, and Spencer Davis. Hermits were bubblegum but with good musicians in the studio. Like John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page. My sister sure loved them!
@@eightinches6094 let’s also not forget how great Peter was at applying his English accent. Which was actually the hook to ALL their hits. At the time of the British Invasion, young teens were really into the accents. More so than the substance of the music and lyrics. That’s where Hermits capitalized. Hermits were to Yardbirds, what the Monkees were to the Beatles. As I stated in my original post, they were fun. I’ve actually covered hermits tunes. Just for fun!

Love this song from herman's hermit. ❤all there songs . Just like ELVIS Presley!!!! There the two of my favorite Groups in the whole wide world.❤❤❤❤
I had a Herman doll.
One of his best...and good Heavens, even ater all these years still makes my heart go pitter-patter! 😊
still sounds great heard him live in 2019.
Saw Peter Noone at Foxwoods three years ago. He still looks young and in great shape; like he never ages OMG LOL. He lays on his thick English accent and he sounds great!
Peter was probably one of the youngest group leaders. He was only 17, when most others were in their 20s.
Peter was good friends with John Lennon. They’d go to pubs together. Peter was too young to order alcohol drinks, so Peter would order 2 cokes, while John, would order 2 glasses of rum. I just Love this story. Who didn’t try games like this......;)
Yes,he's still youthful looking, maybe he has a healthy lifestyle
God bless him more. Aug 29,2021
Loved Phyllis Diller! Great old time comedy.
Great to see this colour footage
No lip syncing on HOLLYWOOD PALACE. It was a true variety show and performances were live.
This is the first live performance by a rock band ive ever seen on Hollywood Palace
I remember
One of my favorite groups of the sixties.
they're such a solid little rock n roll group
They’re just such good ‘ol boys
I had such a crush on Mr Peter Noone and the Hermits I must have been in third grade we used to sing their songs on the school playground before the bell rang. ❤️💕😍🤩😎👍❤️
I did as well!
I love it 👏❤️ thanks ! @@moemcgovern7345

From Hollywood Palace? Phyllis Diller.
A Great song by Herman's hermit's 🎸🥁
If you don't see Peter Noone, move on. Without Peter, it's not worth the time.
Peter really gets into the music.

Dandy a ray Davies of the kinks composotion
Ray Davies is one of the greatest songwriters ever but when I hear this song I think of it as being a Herman's Hermits original.
Merci pour ce double partage en live
Personnellement je préfère Dandy mais les Herman's Hermits sont formidables
J'adore leus voix

They muted his mic for Dandy, you can see him look to the side and go “oh mics off”
Nice song best regards worldcall.
He's just too cute!
Loved Hermans Hermits, hate lip syncing(not accusing the uploader)
This is LIVE. NO lip syncing...can't you tell?????!!!
HELLO, PLEASE TELL ME WHO WROTE THE SONG LISTEN PEOPLE , ? PLEASE REPLY , JOHN FROM NORTH CAROLINA .
Graham Gouldman.
“Listen People” is 100% live, but, alas, “Dandy” is not.
Yes, but it would be kind of hard for them to replicate the orchestra on stage for Dandy.
I notice he messes the lyrics up on this song quite a bit LOL.
Which song?
@@peterchecksfield9958 Listen People. He messed up the lyrics here and in other videos I've seen.
"Everybody's got to lose somebody sometime, when you do, I hope you never part" is obviously wrong (around 1:22).
I thought that Peter is singing the correct words to this song other wise he wouldn't be singing it😊
One great song - Listen People by Graham Gouldman. One so-so kind of wimpy song .. Dandy. Ray Davies wrote this one.
My cat was scared of mice.
Big thumbs up for a so so version of Listen People
Big thumbs down for Dandy .. no no it's not alright!
Fun band and good on vinyl. Live? ummm no. This video explains why.
What's wrong with it? Not bad for 1966.

@@anthonymichaelhalloates2902 ....Their guitarist Dereck Leckenby was considered a fine guitarist by many.

Definitely a fun band with catchy lyrics and music! These songs still sound great today; they'll never get old.
