I'd like to see a blued steel version as well.

The Iced Cookie and Blue Velvet Cake inks in that line are also very nice. Good colors and well-behaves.

I've been enjoying the Monteverde Sweet Life Inks. The colors are very nice. I got six of them. Iced Cookie, Pumpkin Cake, Cherry Danish, Blueberry Muffin, Birthday Cake and Blue Velvet Cake.

The only question I have is if the weight would affect my writing style for longer sessions! I'm sold on the design and nib quality

    That pen looks epic. o.O
I found my new dream pen what I can't afford to buy.

I recently bought a gorgeous orange Aero and sent it back for a refund due to it pealing under the cap after only using it (gently) for a couple of days. Others have also reported the issue with their Aero pens. I sincerely wish for the company to address it and fix it because it's indeed an otherwise very lovely pen. (Feb. 4, 2020)

How this ink compare to Diamine Oxblood ?

Surely it can be utilized as a self-defense weapon too! Wouldn't want to get hit with a fistful of steel.

Really love your ink video’s: any chance of doing a red ink vid?!(use Diamine Poppy Red and Red Dragon which I really like and which were both your recommendations!)

Thanks very much. Red will be coming (but likely both green and brown will be first.)

Thnks for this interesting review! The word pen has its root from the latin word for ”feather”! A 70 g feather!(?) But you’re right about the looks. Fantastic! Thanks again for sharing!

This pen is not that expensive. It's $260 USD.

What I Ink At 2:00 I hear you saying:”This costs eight hundred dollars more” Is that a slip of the tongue, ir a slip of my ears? Anyway, that’s the reason I got the wrong idea. Maybe I’m not the only one?

Thanks for showing the pen in its glory. As much as I like metal, this pen will probably not find its way to me. I have a brown Aero that I like but did not make my daily writer status. Ergonomics a little off for me. At a much heavier weight, would be less liked. Stay inky.

Nice! It's always hard to tell on video, but it looks like it could be an economical substitute for Kobe's Kitano Ijinkan Red, which is one of the few red inks (not burgundy or maroon) that shades. Do you have any experience with that ink? And do you find them similar? I really love Monteverde inks--they feel really great going down on the page, and their priced really attractively.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that ink. Another red ink that shades is Birmingham Fred Rogers Cardigan Red. See my video on the Ranga Model 5 for a look at that ink.

Apparently it’s not ”800 $ more” which can be heard at 2:00, but 80$ more. 180 for the aluminum one and 260 for the steel one. Oddly enough I’m tempted for a second. Just think of that beatiful, hard and shiny.piece of crafted metal in your hand! This pen is mightier than the sword even before you uncap it!

    • @WhatIInk

Sorry for not being clearer, but I'm saying "a hundred dollars more" at that point.

What I Ink HaHa! I can hear that also now. A-teens ( the momentarily world famous pop band) made use of that homophony. My sense for reason didn’t help me out there. Wonder why....

260 bucks for just a pen is too much. But for this beautiful example of design and craftsmanship, it’s on the point I think!

@@Johan-vk5yd I don't think it is just a pen. It is also hand jewelry and a fetish item. And it looks nice.
