Zen, thank you for such a great way to teach and explain your licks. You far exceed other instructor’s on u-tube by explaining your luck in detail and then demonstrating it. Most but not all simply go too fast and talk too much. Appreciate what you do as an inspiration for me and others!
Love your guitar playing Zeb!! I emailed you about Skype lesson not too long ago, and still want to take lessons from you, but im just too intimidated by your playing, ive been a metal player since the early 80s and now i absolutely love bluegrass, but my confidence for playing bluegrass is low since the style is so new to me, once i get a little more confidence i will hit you up, thanks for the videos Zeb stay safe!!!
Zeb, You are freaking amazing! 2 questions: On your WH D-18 is the nut width 1 11/16? What do you charge for Skype lessons for an absolute beginner wanting to learn bluegrass flatpicking?
Hey man, thanks for the kind words. Yes, both of my Hendersons have that 1 11/16 nut. Send me an email and I'll shoot you some prices for lessons. zeb@snyderfamilyband.com
Do you think about pickslanting when you flatpick and how it affects the ease of string changes? That’s Pickslanting in the sense that Troy Grady defines it. I’ve been curious about how many high speed flat pickers are conscious of the idea
Wow Zeb that was the best demonstration of bluegrass rhythm I’ve seen. Crisp technique and a great breakdown of each aspect of the groove. 🙏
Being a music teacher must be difficult to explain yourself haha. If someone ask me I just have to show them vs. explaining. Good for you

Very good instruction,,,, thanks
Very accomplished! Thanks for your lesson! Subscribed!!
This is a revelation, it makes perfect sense but I would never have thought this way
Love your videos!
Thank you Zeb
Thanks Zeb! I appreciate the reinforcement of this pick direction concept.
Sir ,that piece you did on the Mandolin of One Lynnard Skynnard Was AMAZING, and the strokes I learn from You , Awesome , I can hear ya!
Good lesson! Interesting how funk rhythm guitar has a similar "rule" of the eighth notes and up-down. The idea transcends Bluegrass.
Nice instruction Zeb. 👍
Good to see you back Zeb 👍🏼
Great examples

yessirr
You are rock solid in your groove and timing. Any thoughts on how to get there?
Playing along with great musicians. If you can do it in person, that's awesome. But the number one solution is to play along with good albums.
It's a Game Changer

Great lesson what strings on your guitar
Ok to email you with some flatpicking questions? Don’t have Twitter or Instagram. Thanks and appreciate the material

No, I think of my pick angle as more of a tone factor.
