I wouldn't blame her if she waited a few weeks to return to video taping. It would give her much needed rest. And her focus would remain on caring for her animals, ONLY.
Dear CC I am a retired physical therapist and I agree that long hours of sitting at a desk on a computer can be very stressful on a person’s neck and low back. Ask your PT about ergonomic chairs and sit to stand desk. These can help support good posture of head and neck and low back. I imagine the PT is suggesting exercises every hour or so to realign your spine and prevent muscle stiffness. Good luck with your rehab.
This is great advice. Those of us who sit at computers all day every day for work have sometimes learned the hard way that repetitive strain injuries hit us too, and that long periods of sitting still are bad. Get a great chair with some of that UA-cam money if you can! It'll be worth it.
They're all looking great. Pearl is so happy, snug as a bug in a rug... She loves you, can't believe her beautiful new life. Thank you CC, you are a goddess, please take care and try to rest. 🙏✨️💖
So true. You can see happiness on Pearl's face....she is smiling when she sees CC and when she gets rubs on her neck...ooolala...heavenly 😌 Pearl is really big and beautiful, isn't she.
If I may, as a pilot who wheeled a roll aboard all over airports, may I suggest you pull your sled differently. Instead of palm down over the rope, pull it palm up. This puts less strain on the arm and neck. Also it may help to alternate. Enjoy your channel.
Very good point. I do that too after sustaining nerve damage (pinched nerves etc.). I also discovered that when shoveling snow, it's better to pull it rather than push it; but you need a shovel that is well curved and turn it over to use the back side. Unbelievably easier on the body!)
It is so stressful with cold snaps and caring for animals. I am exhausted. Hard to even sleep. thankful for semi normal temps. Hang in there Miss Clever Cowgirl❤️🐴
I love watching your videos and admire so much what you do for these horses. It is just incredible to see how Pearl, who was so debilitated when you got her, is now a new horse. She looks wonderful and her spirit has come alive under your loving care. It’s clear she loves you. Praying for your complete recovery.
I hope you feel better soon CC! My horses prefer standing in the sun over being in their shelters too. Pearl is such a sweet mare! She's never been so pampered and loved. ❤🐎🥕❤️
Get better as soon as you can CC. I’m having surgery on my shoulder next week. We can all wait on new videos until you are healed. Thx to your husband for stepping up and helping you!
You poor dear. So sorry about your neck, shoulder, and arm pain. I don't know about availability in your area, but I suggest an appointment with a massage therapist---they can often provide relief when other methods can't.
As the recent recipient of a new right shoulder (and following a year trying to heal said shoulder without surgery), I empathize both with the physical difficulties involved and with the mental stress of wanting/needing to do stuff that's (hopefully) temporarily impossible. I wish you a speedy recovery. ❄💙❄
So glad you are on the mend..it seems like pinched nerves always reappear at some point down the road, so I am so glad you took some time to heal up! They DEFINITELY miss you when you are not touching, sweet talking and grooming them! I'm sure everyone is happy to see you even if in slow motion! ❤

@ I will be honest with you, a week and a half post surgery and I wish I had not done it. It’s the most painful thing I’ve ever been through in my life and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Not to sound too dramatic, but I feel like I will have PTSD from it. The pain pills did not work and when they did, they made me itch. I could feel where the bone was cut on both ends. It was terrible, and I’m still struggling. Hopefully yours is just rotator cuff surgery. I hear that’s not nearly as horrible.

Glad to hear you have physical therapy to go to, that's important. Hopefully, they can give you other ways of moving so that you can keep up with your horses without recurring injuries. Just so sorry you are going through this. Here's to feeling better.
🥶🥶🥶. We were -5 in S.W. Ohio, no where near -40. 😱I’m so glad the horses weathered through ❤! They have such a good “mom” who loving takes care of them.❤ Take care and get better soon!
CC as retired PT really proud of you for making adaptations and sensible choices as best you can balacing your rehab with ongoing needs of horses. Hard frustrating stuff. All about the journey...and you are a champ.🏆 Pearl just grows my heart everytime I see her.💕✨

Thrifting??? Love it...gives me more opportunities to make my money go further - get to do more where otherwise I wouldn't be able to do. Thanks and hope the arm is lots better real soon! ❤❤❤
It's amazing how in tune you are with your horses. It's like you can read their minds. I'm sure they love you in their own horsey way. With all the hard work you do, I'm surprised you don't hurt yourself more often. Take care.😊❤
CC, you are a master at backing the gator into the barn. I say this as someone who can't seem to back up a vehicle in a straight line for the life of me.
That’s very cool that your hubby’s favorite is Pearl, she looks amazing, still so grateful that she turned corner and is feeling good, haven’t forgot about the double rainbow🙏I did notice that Nigel seems to favor your husband, little turd. Ziggy, Scarlet and all the boys are looking good. I will keep Frisco Bill in my 🙏as well, I guess Prim is still keeping him company when she can. I hope you get back to feeling normal soon 💯
My horse could always tell when I was hurting. She would act all bummed out and want to be in my pocket smothering me with affection. Sure do miss that girl. ♥
Temps finally moderated here in Northern Michigan. We had -25 ° the last couple days and nights . I am thankful I have my husband to help . I only have two horses now and every year it gets harder .
Oh, CC. I feel for you. I was in traction for neck and shoulder pain due to whiplash years ago, so I know it's no fun and be sure to take it easy. There is no race 🙏🥰. Today I just maintain with yoga, PT, massage therapy, and a fantastic chiropractor, but that's just me. I know when you get the right people together in whatever way it works for you, you can get better. It's been a couple of decades now, and I'm fine, but I would never stop my maintenance routine. Anyway, your husband is amazing, and all your charges look great. I can't get over how fantastic Pearl looks! You are an amazing person, CC.
Thank you CC. Appreciate that you are editing videos through your injury but we will wait for anything you have to offer. That said, love seeing the horses again and Tiny. Take care, see you when you are able.
So sorry, CC! You are an inspiration to us all ! Sending prayers for a good recovery and peace of mind! The horses, as always, look wonderful and happy! Take care dear CC! ❤
Thrifting is hard to resist! :) Last time I was looking for a replacement for my active wear hoodies (I'd sewn the pocket holes so many times, that I was sewing over sewing and decided it was time to look). I found 4 perfect hoodies: 2 in black and one in light purple, the other in blue. I couldn't decide and bought them all -- I think they all cost $26 all together (I do get a senior discount now at 63). The year before I got two new coats (they did not even look like anyone had put them on) -- again, trouble deciding, now one is my animal coat the other is for good -- I think they were $50 all together! you can find amazing deals, that going back to paying full price for anything seems crazy. Glad to hear you're on the mend, CC. This has been a rough injury for the type of work you do for sure.
Yes, a PACIFIC TRAILS 3/4 coat for the winter! Just happened to drop into a thrift shop….It was their $2.00 day on coats and jackets. 4 years ago, cold winters and still looks GREAT!! I am still THRILLED
Last night I was trying to think if I had a real wool sweater to wear and remembered I did have one....only I had used it to put in an emergency makeshift cat shelter some time ago!!! At least it kept kitty warm till I got some straw!! It was a realllllly nice sweater🙄
Everyone at the property looks healthy & happy! Take your time recovering & don't worry about making multiple videos per week. One video & a short are just fine. I'm praying for your good health. ❤
Hi CC! You’re using good common sense with your recovery. I lived in FBKS AK for 2 yrs. All winter days were down to -40 degrees F. Had to provide heat to my truck to get it started. I loved the cold. Glad your hubby has helped. Keep your spirit up! ❤❤❤
Hi I’m new to your channel and I’m glad I found it. I really like your way with these rescues! Getting them to what you hope for without raising your voice. Teaching them to understand their feet. Even the trailer rides to know where! Keeping their minds focused. Good on you!!
I tweeked my back yesterday, and between that and the cold snap I've been feeling pretty darn sorry for myself. Fortunately for me, I no longer have animals to feed,. Hope you feel better very soon. ❤
It's amazing. I just began watching your channel when you were making your last thrifting videos. What an awesome lady you are; the more I've watched your videos, the more I appreciate your channel. Get better. Sarasota, FL, USA
Hope you are back to normal very soon and always moving to see your care of the horses, Also loved to see a bit of thrifting. I clothed myself for years from thrift shops mainly, must go back, such joy in finding great clothes and art objects for so little money. Glad Pearl is thriving. !
I had to check out what a track system is, and I love the idea! Looks like a fun way for the horses to be engaged with their surroundings and each others. Some of them looked like a fun track I would like to walk on…..lol I hope you’ll find property to build a track.
Can't thank you enough for making these videos for us horse lovers, especially when it sounds like you're in quite a bit of pain. That's dedication! Sending you healing vibes and lots of gratitude.
Glad you’re improving. Hopefully, the physiotherapist can give you some stretches. That and adequate upper body strength can make a big difference. Thanks for the cold weather update!
CC, I think you spend a huge amount of time with your horses. That you know each of their little individual habits and oddities, speaks volumes about the time care and observation of all your charges. Take care 💜
We just had Storm Enzo move through South Mississippi. I call it the Blizzard of ‘25. I can’t imagine being engulfed in snow 24/7 for weeks. We loved it while we had it. It is melting off today. I am sending you warm weather vibes even though we have not had them this week. We have had a boil water ban and thankfully had a hurricane stash of water for the Wolfhound. He drinks 1.5 gallons a day 😊. I am in awe at all your successes, which you CC seem to achieve without effort.
It's great to know you are taking such good care of yourself as well as your lovely family (I mean human & animals of course)! Seeing your husband doing chores for the horses really touched my heart- the man loves his CC. Until next time!
Neck/shoulder/arm - idiopathic “frozen” shoulder can be early sign of perimenopause. Hormonal more than injury. Another rabbit hole us ladies get to go down. I got it for my 40th birthday…
I was a big horse girl as a kid- rode for several years, competed a bit in barrel racing, etc. I love your channel because it gives me a chance to "spend time" with horses again. I'm a little discouraged at times when people question everything you're doing in such a nitpicky way. I really admire your knowledge, experience, and the empathy you show your animals and I never miss a video. (I'm also a thrift addict- it's a real problem lol)
I havet to laugh,CC, even knowing you're wearing pink trousers, every time I see just your legs and feet it looks like you're wearing shorts! It always catches me by surprise 🤣
Well CC a little shopping therapy along with the PT you got looks like you are perking up and heading toward recovery now. I love your content and commentary and as always enjoy seeing that little purr machine Tiny in her everyday comings and goings.
Sometimes even though help is well meaning, you have a certain routine and help seems to alter the routine. Gets to you! :D I've had people in the past determined to help and actually sometimes that help is more of hinderance! Glad your husband is helping you, even if it isn't quite your routine! I am so very sorry you are still hurting. If I was younger, I'd volunteer to come help, but I'm in worse shape than you! 😜😉 I'd gladly feed horses and do what I could to muck out stalls. Probably not as good as you one armed! I know the horses are thankful for you. Nigel just cracks me up for a little old man! Miss Scarlett and Ziggy are so sweet, even when being a bit fresh! Love them all! Hoping and praying for your safety, your health! Gentle hugs!
All the best in a speedy recovery, keep moving!! eat healthy and plenty of water.............for all. Nigel always make me happy.......just so cute, a little Star.
Thank you for struggling on making videos for us when you’re obviously in quite a bit of pain. Take care CC and look after yourself, love. 🧡
I wouldn't blame her if she waited a few weeks to return to video taping. It would give her much needed rest. And her focus would remain on caring for her animals, ONLY.
Take care, girl! Don't push too hard. We don't want set backs!
You work so hard!!
We care about you!

Thanks to the inspiration from Pete and the guys, all three little people in my circle got rocking horses for Christmas this time.
What a great gift!

Glad Pearl is liking the warmer water, that will help. 🙏

You don't look like you're dressed for _40! Can't imagine that cold!
I can recommend simple & harmless exercise that helped loosen up my shoulder and relieved pain.
1) stand as tall as you can with your shoulders back (like we are supposed to stand).
2) push your shoulder blades down into your back pockets.
This will open the bursas in your shoulders and allow them to do a better job cushioning your joints.
That works great !!!

I'm glad your arm & neck are improving.
That is interesting. I did get kicked a few years ago very close to where I nerve is pinched though, I think that has a lot to do with it!
@@TheCleverCowgirl The older you get those injuries come back & haunt you!
Thrifting is a great phase we all go through. Back in the 1970s you could pick up lovely items from the 1920s, ‘30s, and ‘40s in mint condition.
Hey from Arizona 🌵🌵 only 40 here. LOL. Cold for us.
I havet to laugh,CC, even knowing you're wearing pink trousers, every time I see just your legs and feet it looks like you're wearing shorts! It always catches me by surprise 🤣
Pearl looks so happy! ❤ Even a person like me who doesn't know horses can see it in her face.
So sorry that you are in pain! 😢 the hardest thing to do is lie still and rest! Take good care of yourself and try not to overdo it.
Well CC a little shopping therapy along with the PT you got looks like you are perking up and heading toward recovery now. I love your content and commentary and as always enjoy seeing that little purr machine Tiny in her everyday comings and goings.
Hoping for a speedy recovery for you CC.❤
Can't you buy a blanket for the turd-mobile 😅
I got it an oil pan heater but I’m a little worried it’ll catch the barn on fire…
That's the best kind of thrift haul!
I see you picked up a St John’s suit. Good find, my dog show friends go nuts for St John’s suits.
Been awhile since I found one! Exciting every time!
Heal up, CC. We need you as well as your horses! 😊
Well, I will say a prayer for you! Just be careful and enjoy a little rest! ❤
Good to see you up and around - be careful not to overdo it. Me ol'e dad had a saying: "Be sure to chase the victory when you start recovering." 🙂
All the best in a speedy recovery, keep moving!! eat healthy and plenty of water.............for all. Nigel always make me happy.......just so cute, a little Star.
that lilac St John piece is very pretty and is a steal
$10! Easy pick up !
