Thank you so much for all your recordings of Suzuki cello music in a slow tempo. Your are so preciously helping us to learn the music. We could'nt go forward as well and fast without your help. Un énorme merci!!!
This is truly helpful! You will definitely be getting more views from me😎😊 Have you thought about a tutorial on Intermezzo by Granados? or how do you choose what you will perform?
My thumb keeps wanting to collapse on m3asure 45. Thumb on d string on A. Please, can you offer advice? Your content is amazing, thank you for everything posted thus far.
This is actually a common challenge in measure 45, and I have a few suggestions: Think about your thumb as a tiny bridge - it should maintain a rounded shape, making contact with the string using the side near the tip, not the flat part. Check your elbow height - often a collapsing thumb means the elbow is too low. Try slightly raising your left elbow to create a better angle for your hand in thumb position. A quick exercise: Before playing the passage, silently place your thumb on the A several times, focusing on maintaining that curved shape. Then gradually add the actual notes while keeping that same thumb position. All the best to you!
Have you tried to use harmonics for the notes with thumb? It might help to get confidence and later on you can get back to playing it as regular notes.
thank you!! last year I listen to ur videos everyday and i got into GT orchestra! and this year i listened to ur videos everyday and i got into GT orchestra!! tysm🤍

How can you play so good and not scratchy

practice 40 hours a day.

Alot of the scratching is only audible to the performer as well

Yes, this is a tough piece to learn… it has no mercy for thumb.
@@Cellopedia It's going to take a few weeks just to build up strength. I thought octave practice was bad... haha.
