I’ve been watching you since the beginning. It’s super cool to see you raising a family of your own. My oldest daughter will be 8 in January, and for years she always asked skeeter while I watched, but didn’t asked much more. She has taken a huge interest into all of it so we’ve been going back through the videos over the years. Your videos are something I always look for and always look forward to. I pray for you and the family and thank you for your content.
@@anandrew6641 Keep in mind, this guy has built stuff constantly over years. Do any job enough times and you just go on autopilot like it's nothing; don't even need to plan things. Fir a first timer? Yeah, you need to spend the due diligence figuring everything out so it's done right; otherwise it's a death trap. That said, you can build stuff without it being perfect. If it's not your forever home, and you can replace it relatively cheap / quick later on, just go through the motions of making something and figuring out how it all works out. Then your second one will go in half the time and half the effort.
Love the simplistic practical approach. Looks like you've got a lot of life figured out at an early age. Also nice to see that a man still knows how to swing a hammer in this world. Keep on ... Keepin' on.
It’s great to see you in your element. You’re a natural and the way you swing that hammer and put up a cabin in no time is amazing. You have a commendable work ethic. I look forward to seeing you teaching Stanley someday. Wishing you, Cierra, Stanley and Skeeter a very Merry Christmas. God Bless.
@@skeetermalcolm1655 did you ever wonder how much time is involved in repositioning all the camera angles and all the editing is involved with each video? It does seem like a short video but there's a lot involved in putting one out on UA-cam.
Man it's exciting for me when I watch your videos and being able to see such a level of confidence, and self-sufficiency especially when the two of you are so in tune with nature. I have enjoyed watching knowing how authentic you are in your videos and never with a bunch of bs fillers. Good down to earth people.
You swing that hammer like you mean it….😉✌🏼😎💯 two hits or three hits and the nail is drove in. Pretty impressive I must say. Looking good Kyle looking good. 👍
Alaska here….I loved the comment “the ladies don’t have to hike to the outhouse and get mauled by a bear 😂”…you said it so casually and matter of fact like it happens daily 😂😂
You and Bushradical are the best and fastest cabin builders on UA-cam, or at least that I have found. I am only guessing that the back wall with no, or few windows is on the north side which is good to have mostly insulation on. Windows are better now as far as keeping cold out, however, solid wall is still totally airtight and gets no sunlight.
Merry Christmas to you and your family…prayers for a blessed day. Love watching Skeeter…he doesn’t take his eyes off of you and sneaks in hugs and attention when he sees the opportunity ❤️🎅🏻🎄😇
Thank you sir for your consideration. I too, as a lady, appreciate not being mauled by a bear when I go to the bathroom in the night! My husband, on the other hand, welcomes the adventure. Ha ha!
Thanks for the video Kyle ! You said that put those windows down lower so you could sit in your Lazy-Boy when it's snowing and look out at the view. It's hard for me to imagine that you would confine yourself to a chair, inside the cabin during the day, even if it were snowing a blizzard ! Unless maybe when the camera isn't rolling you can suddenly transform into a sloth? 😜
Yup! A ball of energy, hope he looks after the body. If not the first thing to go is the back and knee's. The mind is always there but your left with wishing you could still do the same. Coming from a guy in his 70's who knows. Take care Kyle, love your projects
Kyle, I have been watching your videos since you started your first cabin on this channel years ago. I want you to know how much of an inspiration you have been to me and my wife. We love your videos. When I get out of the military a year from now we are going to start our own homesteading journey. Thank you for the knowledge and mindset. Congratulations on the baby.
Love the progress Kyle. You drive those Nails in like it's nothing. I see Skeeter supervising LOL I just love that dog. Keep sending out these videos I love to watch all the work that you're doing can I hear pretty fast and know what you're doing
For my second house build I learnt alot from this young man I'm far from. A so call Carpenter but I do know a thing or two my second build I was 58 and going on 61 in Feb and planning on my last Build of a house .❤
Kyle, man your good at hammering in nails! You didn't miss one nail! 👍 You are the fastest Cabin builder I have ever seen. Great job! Skeeter is such a delight to watch. I hope Sierra and Stanley are doing fine. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄
I remember you building cabin with your Dad... long time ago..now In a few years i hope, i will again see father and son building a cabin...you and Stanley... cirkel closed.....
Do the loft! It will be a few years, but before you know it, you'll need another room for the little man. Also, one thing I have only seen in a few builds, leaving a open space at the top of the bedroom wall, so heat can more easily get back there, even with the door closed. Also, plan for the future, go ahead and build a lean to off one side for a covered porch that could someday be a room should you so desire.
Super job! Interesting to see different framing methods. Here in the east we would have a 2x4 all the way around a door or window opening. So one below the header. A tip to share. Line your top and bottom plate together and make all your markings. Then separate and add the verticals studs. Saves a bunch of time. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the roof. Loft is a great idea!
May your days be merry, your nights be bright, and your Christmas be wrapped in delight! “Wishing you Ciara and your new son a very Merry Chistmas and a joyous New Year"
Adding a loft might be nice for when your kids are older and want their own space to sleep or hang out. Just a thought. Either way it’ll be an awesome cabin in a beautiful spot!
Happy Christmas to Cierra ,Stanley and Kyle. I enjoy watching your no nonsense approach to life. Great work ethic, greetings to you all from Ireland not forgetting Skeeter and Kitty.
Looking good! Im watching the ads & I would encourage all viewers to do the same…hopefully it will make you guys a small amount of money since you just had a baby! Congrats!
Watching all your hard work is so much fun!!! You are a true craftsman and do everything with ease. Thank you for sharing!!! Hope you and your precious family have a wonderful Christmas, and a very blessed New Year!!!!!🙏❤️🙏
I would think a loft would be handy. If for nothing else, for seasonal storage for items. It would have to be a very tall roof for it to be useable for people. And all the heat will go up there as well. When I saw that trailer in the beginning, I thought you were nuts. I just did not have your vision. All I saw was junk that needed to be removed, lol. And in a short period, Bam! Wall up already!
Very nice job, it's good to see young people building things. I've been a carpenter for almost 30 years and you're doing everything awesomely well. I use panel box headers as much as I can now. I built an addition on my house with no lumber headers, and it's had a ton of snow on it with no troubles. It's table R602.7.3 in the IRC. Have a look into it, you might find it to be a good alternative. Keep up the good work!
Don`t warn yourself out with all this building!! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hope you all stay well the whole winter. Love your dog and cat🎅🤶🧑🎄🎄🎄🎁🎁
Just Kyle casually building an off grid cabin by himself with Skeeter supervising. ❤
Man, you build cabins like I mow the grass, weekly...😂😅 You're doing an awesome job! Love what you're doing 😊
I’m smack dab in the middle of a great book. Only for Kyle or Sierra would I put down this book to watch a video. Yep, I’m a fan.
I read that as “only for Kyle or Santa”. 😂
@ lol, I am the fourth out of five children. I was informed at 3 years old that Santa didn’t exist, so no! I wouldn’t put down my book for Santa.
What book ?

Has to be Wind and Truth, right?
One thing I know for sure Stanley is going to be one heck of a worker. I enjoy watching your videos you’re amazing.
I look forward to this every Friday.
A loft would be fabulous!
Man you don't mess around, you get right to it.....good job!!
Well there you go! A cabin framed out in one session. Way to go Kyle!
A journeyman cabin builder, you make it look easy. Carry on Kyle .

It's mad how much one person can do in such a short time when they're motivated to get off their a** . well done (again) Kyle..
I have too much analysis paralysis, I wish I was this motivated just get out there and do it.

100% good to see a hammer being swung like you do! Sad to watch someone hit a 16 penny nail 15 times to get it in.
I look forward to your videos every week! Wishing you and your family a happy holiday!
He builds entire houses alone in the woods, that is so cool.
Wow, @Kyles Cabin, you are just a cabin building machine. I enjoy watching your progress.
Merry Christmas to you, Cierra, Stanley and Skeeter!🎄✨ From Canada 🫶🇨🇦
You're a lovely man, Kyle. You're kind & loving to your animals. You treat them like you treat your family. I mean they're part of your family eh 😊
After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I took the step of creating a channel to explore a new path, although I haven't had much success so farngw

For some reason I could watch you build all day brother, your videos are always so enjoyable, ever think of some longer videos?

Kyle, you make it look so easy to build a cabin!
You approach your build with such confidence, because you are!
Kyle’s done so many of these now he just makes it look effortless!😂 love it!
yep, endless cabins for endless UA-cam bucks!
Going up quick. Also a great educational video for those new carpenters. Good job Kyle.
Merry Christmas Kyle, Cierra, Stanley, Skeeter and Kitty! 🐾🐾👍😎🇨🇦💝🎅✨️🎄🧦🧦🧦💝

You're the first diy tradie I've seen that doesn't choke the hammer
It's good to see Skeeter there watching out for undesirable predators keeping you safe while you work!
We would like to see more of Stanley please. Your cabin building is amazing!
Love and enjoy your videos Kyle. May the lord bless and protect you and Sierra and Stanley and the animals and homestead
You can build a cabin so fast... Keep the videos coming...Love your videos....
This guy makes cabins effortlessly

You work fast. I am jealous of the ease in which you drive those nails. Skeeter makes a good foreman. Great content, Kyle. It is very interesting.
When Ol Skeeter says Dad....
I need a hug😁👍Priceless. Knockin it out, well done. Be nice for a 6 foot loft for storage🎄🎄🎁🎁🎄be blessed ya all.

Definitely do a tiny loft Kyle. Stanley would probably have lots of fun in a little fort like that all on his own when he’s a little older!😊
WOW! You're movin' right along!! Can't believe you already have all four wall up! Great job, Kyle!
No logs here . Glad you used plywood and not particle board ( will not warp as easy ) . You make it look that even I could do it at 73 .
Thumbs Up !
