    HGMM video idea: Different anchor types for different walls. I live in an apartment that has brick, metal, and plaster walls, and hollow-core doors, so I had to do SO MUCH research to figure out which anchor is best for which wall. There's a lot more to know there than one would expect.

    Hey Steve, I really like your channel. Thank you for all the videos. I have made a heap of your projects and jigs. I think you are the main reason I got into woodwork. Can you please do a video about something like a log project. Maybe a chopping board one or something. Anyway thank you for all the videos.

    I just saw Oculus tonight and vaguely remembered you mentioning it here. I thought it was a great horror movie! Much better than most of what is available on Netflix anyway.

    Netscape broke in half and the Netscape side kinda faded but the other side was the Mozilla Foundation which created Firefox, Thunderbird, and some other stuff. Firefox is basically Netscape Navigator 2. I used to love using Netscape back in the ye olde days :D.

    DO NOT hold the pocket hole jig with your hand with a short piece of wood that doesn't cover the jig hole completely. I did that on New Years eve and spend the evening in the ER getting it cleaned and stitched. A pocket hole bit is dangerous because the spurs of of the larger diameter can grab your finger and rip it like it did to me!

    Hey, Steve! You mean his name is Przemysław?
    The best I could come up with for you, to pronounce it right, is Pshemyswuv. (at least according to my knowledge and google's translate English text-to-speech engine ;).
    You can also just put Przemysław in Polish text-to-speech. BTW, I love the way you said his name :D Przemysław shorts to Przemek, which is pronounced as Pshemek

    They make sealing wax sticks that fit a mini glue gun. You can buy them at craft stores, sometimes in the wedding aisle. It's so much cleaner and faster than the traditional method, but far less gratifying.

    Pocket hole screws. If you could give a simplification of depth of material x screw length x jig settings. would be great, i feel like i am always second guessing myself.

    I have an air compressor and it came with an nail gun and I don't know the basics to set up. I just turned it on and tried to use it and the nail seemed to go too deep in the wood. Tips and tricks would be wonderful.

    • @terryhansen5164
      @terryhansen5164 8 років тому

      If the nail gun is shooting the nail to deep you need to adjust your air pressure from the compressor.

    • @spanksthx
      @spanksthx 8 років тому

      I realize that but what should I set it too? There is no indicators on the gun for what I can tell.

    • @terryhansen5164
      @terryhansen5164 8 років тому

      +Jennifer Shea it really depends on the kind of wood really. I like to experiment on a piece of scrap first, start out on a lower setting and slowly turn up the air pressure. There is not a number for everyone because of the differences in compressors, woods and guns. Like I said, experimentation is the best way IMHO.
