So, by this method: Aliens is a rip off of Close Encounter which is a rip off of 2001:Space Odyssey which is a rip off of The Eye Creatures which is a rip off of Invasion of the Body Snatchers which is a rip off of A Trip to the Moon. Yeah, makes perfect sense.
Modern young generation doesn't realize how important & iconic "Alien" (1979) was. It introduced a strong female character in a blockbuster movie (Finally!!!). It introduced a very unique creature with no less unique life circle. This film is full of interesting twists & turns, great visual effects and fantastic acting!! They don't make films like this anymore. "Aliens" (1986) had a huge impact too. Call me mad but I adore "Alien 3" (1992) and "Prometheus" (2012) too
You're implying that younger generations are naive and don't know the significance, yet you're just the same, you stereotype a modern day audience, you're just as naive as you believe them to be. Everyone knows how important and iconic Alien is, no matter what age, it created one of the most iconic movie villains of all time. Stop stereotyping and actually enjoy these movies for what they are with any audience rather than talking like a World War II veteran who thinks children don't know the significance of the wars.
But why would you then assume that represents _all_ of them? That's like eating a rotten banana and assuming that every other banana in the world is just as spoiled.
The Alien Franchise itself isn't entirely original either. It was loosely based off of elements from two stories in the fix-up novel "Voyage of the Space Beagle" - *Black Destroyer* and *Discord in Scarlet* - written by A.E.Van Vogt in the 1940s. Subsequently these two stories were ripped off by movies such as "It! The terror From Beyond Space" and TV shows like the "Man Trap" episode from the original Star Trek. The Alien franchise simply became the best-known example of the genre.
At least The Abyss had aliens. Not sure how they can call Pandorum or Event Horizon rip-offs when there were no aliens, no mention of aliens, and the antagonists/events are very clearly stated as something that is not an alien lol

+Grendel Just b/c you don't agree w/ them doesn't mean they haven't seen it recently. The Abyss is most often compared to Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
@@Grendel1967g The fact that Michael Biehn is in the same movie, does not make "The Abyss" a ripoff. James Cameron also make "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and that movie is DEFINITELY not an "Alien" ripoff.
You left out LEVIATHAN with Peter Weller and Amanda Pays. It is pretty much an underwater version of Alien and The Thing. It even has a verbatim quote of a cut scene from the theatrical version of Alien, which was later put back into the director's cut.
I love many cheap Alien rip offs too - Contamination, Galaxy of Terror, Inseminoid, Forbidden World, Xtro, Dead Space, Star Crystal, Saturn 3, Creature, DeepStarSix, Parasite, Leviathan, Deep Space, The Rift, The Terror Within, The Deady Spawn, Biohazzard, Species etc Like it or not but The Thing (1982), Event Horizon, Europa Report, Life (2017) took inspiration from Alien as well
Guys, am I the only one who enjoys ALIEN 3 as much as ALIEN & ALIENS? Just curious. I do love its superdark tones and atmosphere. They tried to add something new. The Assembly Cut version is even better
I can't say I like the entire movie but there are some scenes that I love. Especially the scene that is by far the best reaction to seeing a Xeno kill someone.
Galaxy Of Terror inspired James Cameron to make "Aliens", he even worked on "Galaxy of Terror" movie. You can see the art work and the epic design in Galaxy Of Terror & compare with with Aliens. GoT is a tribute to Alien, GoT inspired James Cameron to make Aliens.
No mention of "Leviathan" with Peter Weller? It basically follows the same story structure as "Alien," only transposes the action from deep space to the deep sea. I watched it as a kid (my parents were pretty irresponsible about those sorts of things, haha) and even then I remember thinking that it was just like "Alien."
Levithan is more close to The Thing than it is Alien. In Alien, you don't see xenomorphs assimilating their victims or turning their victims into horrifying monsters, whereas in The Thing you see an assimilation plot going on.
The Abyss was labeled as a Close Encounters rip-off, not Aliens. The NTI's (non-terrestrial intelligence) were friendly and all of the PG-13 violence in the film were between humans.
The Alien movies are sooo good! It takes a lot to scare me & most "scary" movies don't, but the Alien movies are the rare few that genuinely frighten the shit out of me.
I can't believe you missed Dead Space starring Bryan Cranston. And no, I'm not talking about the game series (Though Heisenberg vs Necromorphs sounds badass.)
Necromorphs would give Xenos a run for their money. Xenomorphs would shit bricks if they had to encounter other extraterrestrials they couldn't actually kill (because they're already dead and just come back). I'd love to see a cross-over though. Maybe the Xenos will finally know what "Fuck around and find out" means.
I'm sorry WM. I stopped watching around 8:28 when you put The Abyss as an 'Alien' ripoff' because it had "underwater aliens". Please WM, get your s--t together.
How was pitch black or Abyss a rip off? Some of these on the list just seem like you typed space and alien/monster and just went with what ever you found lol
"The Abyss" does not have: 1. Monsters. The aliens are beautiful and friendly. 2. Alien attacks. Well, a near miss at the beginning which could have been a mistaken defensive move by the aliens. 3. Gore. A few sad drowning though. 4. Outer space. Its at the bottom of the ocean! 5. Alien bad guys. The aliens turn out to be the heroes at the end! Michael Biehn's character, a Navy SEAL suffering from pressure induced psychosis, is the "bad guy" who is trying to kill the aliens because he thinks they're a threat. His actions are driven for a "righteous cause" but he's greatly mistaken. He ends up dying after a fantastic underwater mini-sub chase and ends up dying tragically. I think the real bad guy of the movie is the fact they're at the bottom of the ocean, cut off from their life support, doomed to suffocate and freeze to death. The movie is definitely NOT a horror movie, even though "Pitch Black" could be considered one.
Speaking of so-called rip-offs, the movie Shivers (directed by David Cronenberg) was a forerunner to all these movies, including Alien. So, going by your (opaque) logic, Ridley Scott's Alien should be considered as a rip-off!!!
Leviathan? Are you kidding me? That was no alien. That was a sea creature. If anything, that had more in common with The Thing then Aliens. The Thing movie was a remake of the "The Thing from another World." The Thing had nothing to do with Aliens.
I have to say, very good video, however, you're ripping off topics and facts that were actually presented in a video by another UA-camr named Blameitonjorge.
I was almost expecting Dead Space to make this list. Also, I'm not referring to the video game by the same name, I'm referring to the 1991 Sci Fi Horror film of the same name which is apparently a remake of Roger Corman's Mutant (aka Forbidden World) from 1982.
They did not only do that, but Event Horizon was not about aliens. It was about a ship that took its crew to Hell. That was about a scientist making a mistake and creating a wormhole to Hell instead to a different part of space. These people do not watch movies anymore.
Okay but have you seen Alien? If you have seen that film then there is NO suspense in Life because it literally plays out just like it. The characters let something in the ship that they shouldn't have. A creature goes inside of one of them. It then comes out and escapes though a vent of sorts and grows up really fast and it picks the crew one by one. One of the characters sees potential in it so he tries to protect it. He ends up dying and the alien kills the rest of them and they shoot it out of an air lock. (Well shot to earth in LIFE's case) PRETTY DAMN SIMILAR
And now the three Italian-produced Alien-inspired movies have all be released on Blu-ray. Should note that there's trivia that Cinematographer/Director Mario Bava was originally supposed to direct Alien 2 but he nevertheless gave some technical advice. The Shocking Dark movie was actually partly shot in the city of Venice.
Hugh G Worst game? Lol you must be new to gaming if you think NMS is the worst game ever. NMS is a rip off yes, and a boring game at that. But at least it's working and playable. And like the others said it's also on PC not just PS4.
To everyone that mentions the Leviathan movie of 1989. That is a sea creature, not alien. If you can say it ripped off anything, that would be "The Thing." By the way "The Thing" was a remake of "The Thing from Another World," a 1951 movie. Leviathan was based on mutation, not a alien creature. More likely whatever it comes in contact, it can mutate.
Event Horizon is not an Alien ripoff it hasn't aliens in it and is a very underrated movie and well made that movie is 9 out of 10 . Abyss Should't be on the list because it talks about a way different story in the movie and is a masterpiece. Then X-Files show is also Alien ripoff ? since it has aliens in the story?? is absurd to think like that . I can go even further Alien is also a ripoff from older sci-fi movies from the 50's and 60's not only made in the USA but also in Europe and China and Japan . It is saying that every action movie ripped off each other since story wise it contains the same stuff over and over , same can be said with Marvel & DC comics and movies in WatchMojo logic ??!!
My idea for an alien tv-series is as follows: It takes places just before the events in the first alien movie and happens on a planet near where the nostromo spaceship is shipping ore.Weyland-Yutani is on the planet and have terraformed it for years, when they discovers a cave with lots of xenomorph eggs. One of them get's infected and a xenomorph is born. It turns out to be a queen, and a lot of the Weyland-Yutani humans are infected and then a war breaks out.All the humans on the planet are wiped out and only a few manage to escape in a spaceship. Then they nuke the planet from orbit. Then Weyland-Yutani regrets the decision and a hunt for the xenomorph begins. They get a tip that there's a crashed spaceship on lv426 and sends the robot Ash on the Nostromo spaceship. But they are informed that the mission has failed and that Nostromo has gone missing. Then Weyland-Yutani get's a tip about an xenomorph on Fiorina161 and sends a team of researchers there. They finds a surviving prisoner that is impreagnated and a queen is born. Weyland-Yutani then wants to use the xenomorphs on the planets where the engineers are located because they want the technology to seed planets with life. They also want the elixir that provides humans with prolongued life. After they have managed to give birth to a flock of xenomorphs, they drops them on an engineer planet and causes everyone of them to die. Then they get hold of the blue elixir that gives prolongued life. But several ships with engineers that where away from their planet when Weyland-Yutani wiped the population out, pursue them and manages to get the elixir back, but gets trapped on the planet where both parties crash. Then a battle takes place and the crew from Weyland-Yutani gets the elixir that gives them prolongued life for thousands of years, but they are now trapped on the planet, with no means to get anywhere. But then they see a light aproaching, but is the spaceship friends or foes ?
Pitch Black has nothing to do with Alien. Different situation (crashed on a planet versus sent to answer a distress call by corrupt corporation) different type of alien creature, different protagonist (vicious criminal versus respected second officer). Not even close.
I can not believe they put Event Horizon as one of the honorable mentions. Event Horizon was a horror movie based on a invention of a space ship that was suppose to get to another part space instantly, but instead it takes the person to Hell. That is not a rip off of Aliens.
The "Abyss" should ABSOLUTELY NOT be on this list. The bad guys in this movie are: 1. Their predicament. They're at the bottom of the ocean floor in an oil rig with a group of Navy SEALS on a rescue mission after a Navy sub is downed in the Marianas Trench. Due to an accident with the ship above them feeding them air and power, they are cut off from escape. 2. A Navy SEAL who is suffering from psychosis due his reaction to the literal high pressure of their physical environment. He's a driven sailor, suffering from paranoia due to his condition and wants to exterminate the "threat" at all costs. Toward the end we realize that he's just a human being and his end turns out to be a tragic one. The aliens in this movie are never seen as the bad guys. Instead, they're seen as a mysterious wonder with the exception of an underwater near miss at the beginning of the movie. They are more in line with the aliens from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
Roger Corman is The Best! Reusing sets and actors. And when he once finished a film a couple days early, he just went and filmed another even though he had no script. Way to go!
The situation is that all the Original stuff is gone AF, so even when you make some original stuff you still have a 50/50 chance of hitting other existing media.
Galaxy of Terror holds up quite well as an unique and bizarre sci-fi movie. If anything the story is quite original in the fact that the characters are eventually killed by their own fear. There may have been a little inspiration (especially the film sets), but to call it a rip-off... hell no!
How is it ripped off from Alien? The idea of ALIEN monsters ,astronauts and space in fiction has been around for a very long time! Consider H.G.Wells'War of the Worlds for an example! These ideas are not exclusively property of anyone!
1) All the people in the comment section complaining about 'ripping off". Mojo just used that term as click bait. 2) Haven't seen Inseminoid but it looks more like a "rip off" of Rosemary's Baby than Alien. 3) It was an obscure movie but the 8 Films To Die For flick Unearthed was a major Alien rip off. Cloverfield kinda did too.
isn't ironic that Alien was also accused to steal and rip off other properties, specifically the concept of the movie, and the concept of the alien itself?
How did Pitch Black ripped The Alien franchise again?! Due to the feelings of fright and tension to which ..what? And being isolated on a strange planet?! Really? So every horror movie in which the main characters are isolated (cabins in the woods, houses, forests, buildings, cubes, trains, their own minds, etc) is an Alien franchise rip-off? That's stretching it too thin, even for you.
Soooo, where's "The terror within"? Seriously, it's basically the first alien movie, but set underground, with a cheap looking monster. But it's a lot of good fun, and it has some honestly well executed suspense moments.
Completely missed V.H.S. (can't remember exactly which one). One of the tapes is about an alien that gestates inside of a human host and them emerges, killing the person, and begins killing everyone... its literally the same thing lol
I really do not see how these other films ripped off Alien. You have Alien that have an egg with an alien that latches on your face to implant the person with an egg. Then that egg hatches and turns into an alien that bursts out of your chest. Then it grows up and kills people. How is any of these movies a rip off of the Alien Franchise? They are not, they are just inspired by Alien.
Event Horizon can't be considered a rip off. It has absolutely nothing in common with Alien, nothing to do. Resident Evil: Retribution should have been here, at least in honorable mentions. The whole plot of Alice finding a scared girl in the facility overran by monsters and then having to save said girl from a horrifying creature that abducted her (and even put her inside a cocoon) is a direct rip off of Aliens and I'm surprised it didn't end up here.
No Carnosaur 2? Plot is literally the same. Ragtag group of "badasses" go in to investigate a facility that got slaughtered (dinosaurs, in this case), just the one one kid survived, one of the creatures kills the pilot and causes the extraction vehicle to crash, leaving them marooned, and the final creature is fought with the use of machinery.
Species has on of the stupidest lines in cinema history, The telepathic character played by Forrest Whittaker walks into a train carriage where the alien has just devoured someone, there’s blood and guts everywhere, even a head on the floor and the Forrest Whittaker character says ‘ I feel something bad’s happened here’ no shit Forrest you don’t need to be telepathic to work that one out😂😂
Not to forget that "Alien" itself was inspired by Mario Bavas atmospheric Masterpiece "Planet of the Vampires/Terrore nello spazio" from 1965.. I hate to comment on bullshit like this, but it has to be, since there is so much ignorance out there. Also, I recommend to watch the Documentary "Jodorowsky's Dune" or at least look it up on Wikipedia. The Documentary shows that most of the Groundwork for Alien has been done during the Preproduction to a Movie never made, Dune by Alejandro Jodorowsky . I quote: “Bava’s film was a direct influence on Ridley Scott’s 1979 big budget B-movie Alien. But where Scott’s film tried to mask its humble drive-in origins, Planet of the Vampires revels in its origins. The film literally feels like a pulp magazine cover come to garish life…” - Derek Hill, MGM Midnight Movies. “Much of the conceptual design and some specific imagery in the 1979 Ridley Scott screamer undoubtedly owes a great debt to Mario Bava’s no budget accomplishments.” - Robert Monell, DVD Maniacs.

"Species" wasn't really a rip-off, as the late great H.R. Giger designed the Xenomorph and the Sil creature
It kind of was with the design
I agree. How can species even be considered rip off if giger himself was involved?
It's more like influence and inspiration came from same source
The abyss don't deserve to be on the list
try watching it some time then. james cameron co-wrote, produced, and directed aliens and the abyss... recycling themes, props, and actors.
Leviathon is a much better choice for underwater Alien ripoff. And it stars Peter Weller.

Natasha Henstridge will forever be an absolute smoke show
Nothing beats the cute and cuddly xenomorphs.
It does take a shit ton of AP rounds to kill one, and if you are close and you kill one you get bathed in acid
I know than I should not be so hyped for it, but *I CAN'T WAIT FOR ALIEN COVENANT!*
The Predator
that's still going to happen I thought it was cancelled
I'm just glad Neill Blomkamp's Alien film is cancelled
Lets AnimateIt same boi
I know aliens covenant looks so good
Top 10 Games that Ripped Off the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
true crime must be on that list
Matthew Cool I think they included this in their Top 10 Most Cloned Video Games list, and how many GTA clones are there?
YES! Saints Row, Just Cause, and Sleeping Dogs, Watch Dogs must be on that list too!
Driver 2-others
retro city rampage
Thank you, WM! You just made my day with this list. I'll be spending this weekend hunting down several of the films featured on this list to view! 😃
I adore this franchise. Great video. And YES, it inspired a huge amount of movies
I'm sorry WM. I stopped watching around 8:28 when you put The Abyss as an 'Alien' ripoff' because it had "underwater aliens". Please WM, get your s--t together.
Dont go Any further, comments are just cancer
Rohit ikr
How was pitch black or Abyss a rip off? Some of these on the list just seem like you typed space and alien/monster and just went with what ever you found lol
"The Abyss" does not have:
Prometheus was the biggest Alien Rip-Off of all time ! ;-)
TheDarkPremonition 😑
TheDarkPremonition good one. did you just came up with it by yourself
It's a Prequel
True story Prometheus was a total rip of
Adrian-Cosmin Ciofalca true story. Prometheus and Alien are both made by the same person.
Fabulous video. this made me subscribe. Very educational and hilarious in parts. Nice work.
Aside from the Italian ones and the number one pick, I wouldn't say any of these are rip offs. Inspired by maybe but not rip offs.
how the fuck can be pitch black be a ripoff?
I hate when i get a piece of hair stuck on my screen
Peridium ohh wow I thought there was a piece of hair on my screen
Wtf😂😂
Tried to wipe it off 😁
I actually had a piece of hair stuck next too it. Mind trip....
Peridium u got me
Species was actually a pretty good Alien franchise rip-off series.
I would compare Pandorum to dead space.
Speaking of so-called rip-offs, the movie Shivers (directed by David Cronenberg) was a forerunner to all these movies, including Alien. So, going by your (opaque) logic, Ridley Scott's Alien should be considered as a rip-off!!!
You forgot the two movies that came out around the same time as The Abyss that also did Aliens Underwater: Leviathan and Deep Star Six
To be honest, I loved Leviathan and Deep Star Six more than The Abyss
irina1296 I love them too but I had a HUGE crush on a young Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio so I’d prefer watch her for three hours.
haha I feel you here
Thank you so much for making this video😊
You forgot Leviathan
TheTTGibson
So true. That's probably one of the most blatant ripoffs of Alien.
Stan Winston even did the creature effects for the film.
Leviathan? Are you kidding me? That was no alien. That was a sea creature. If anything, that had more in common with The Thing then Aliens. The Thing movie was a remake of the "The Thing from another World." The Thing had nothing to do with Aliens.
Sorry but The Abyss was NOT a rip off of any "Alien" like movie. Just having aliens in it does not make it a copy of other alien movies.
What about recent "Life'?
Where is Virus, Laviathion, Behind the rock, Deep star down..... ????
HAVE U EVEN SEEN LIFE (2017) NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ALIEN SERIES DID U JUST TAKE MOVIES THAT HAD ALIENS IN THEM WTF U NEED TO SEE LIFE
They did not only do that, but Event Horizon was not about aliens.
This is cool and all but let's not forget the biggest ripoff and worst game ever which was no man's sky for the PS4.
Hugh G you do know it's a multi platform game, not just a PS4 game. It's me shit on pc
Hug G No man sky has nothing to d wit Alien the only connection they have are they are both in space
Hugh G Worst game? Lol you must be new to gaming if you think NMS is the worst game ever. NMS is a rip off yes, and a boring game at that. But at least it's working and playable. And like the others said it's also on PC not just PS4.
Preach, brother!
You gotta admit, though: seeing T-850s take on a hive of Xenomorphs would be awesome in live action
Wasn't Aliens also a rip-off?
-It was a sequel-
We owe Roger Corman a lot of gratitude and thanks to him for getting James Cameron's stellar movie making career started!
**VEY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
Hi
Oh Khepri hi
Reapers Voice from Overwatch Hey
hi to you too
Syroy _ NBN
To everyone that mentions the Leviathan movie of 1989. That is a sea creature, not alien. If you can say it ripped off anything, that would be "The Thing." By the way "The Thing" was a remake of "The Thing from Another World," a 1951 movie.
Leviathan was based on mutation, not a alien creature. More likely whatever it comes in contact, it can mutate.
How come 50 shades didn't make the list?
Groud Frank Hahaha! What? Why should it be? Now I'm intrigued
because reason i dont care
Piccolo: "I think Ridley Scott's gonna sue somebody."
ah another uninspired watchmojo video
at least it was entertaining
Flamin Gator Lol?
Flamin Gator but we love lists about rippoffs
Isak Wennstig some of them weren't even ripoffs, they were just inspired by it. God I hate my generation.
It is saying that every action movie ripped off each other since story wise it contains the same stuff over and over , same can be said with Marvel & DC comics and movies in WatchMojo logic ??!!
where's alien 3
wheres colonial marine???
My idea for an alien tv-series is as follows: It takes places just before the events in the first alien movie and happens on a planet near where the nostromo spaceship
is shipping ore.Weyland-Yutani is on the planet and have terraformed it for years, when they discovers a cave with lots of xenomorph eggs.
One of them get's infected and a xenomorph is born. It turns out to be a queen, and a lot of the Weyland-Yutani humans are infected and then
a war breaks out.All the humans on the planet are wiped out and only a few manage to escape in a spaceship. Then they nuke the planet from orbit.
Then Weyland-Yutani regrets the decision and a hunt for the xenomorph begins. They get a tip that there's a crashed spaceship on lv426 and sends
the robot Ash on the Nostromo spaceship. But they are informed that the mission has failed and that Nostromo has gone missing. Then Weyland-Yutani get's
a tip about an xenomorph on Fiorina161 and sends a team of researchers there. They finds a surviving prisoner that is impreagnated and a queen is born.
Weyland-Yutani then wants to use the xenomorphs on the planets where the engineers are located because they want the technology to seed planets with life.
They also want the elixir that provides humans with prolongued life. After they have managed to give birth to a flock of xenomorphs, they drops them
on an engineer planet and causes everyone of them to die. Then they get hold of the blue elixir that gives
prolongued life. But several ships with engineers that where away from their planet when Weyland-Yutani wiped the
population out, pursue them and manages to get the elixir back, but gets trapped on the planet where both parties
crash. Then a battle takes place and the crew from Weyland-Yutani gets the elixir that gives them prolongued life
for thousands of years, but they are now trapped on the planet, with no means to get anywhere. But then
they see a light aproaching, but is the spaceship friends or foes ?
Pitch Black has nothing to do with Alien. Different situation (crashed on a planet versus sent to answer a distress call by corrupt corporation) different type of alien creature, different protagonist (vicious criminal versus respected second officer). Not even close.
I can not believe they put Event Horizon as one of the honorable mentions. Event Horizon was a horror movie based on a invention of a space ship that was suppose to get to another part space instantly, but instead it takes the person to Hell. That is not a rip off of Aliens.
The "Abyss" should ABSOLUTELY NOT be on this list.
The bad guys in this movie are:
Way to go!
WatchMojo is the BuzzFeed of Top 10 channels now. Good job.
As Qoheleth says, "What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun."
7:45 that image quality looks freaking accurate like nowadays movies for being a 1980's movie!!!
There may have been a little inspiration (especially the film sets), but to call it a rip-off... hell no!
The death scene of Erin Moran's character in "Galaxy of Terror" is what makes it a B movie classic
Event Horizon did not rip anything from Alien. They're literally two different films. Come on WatchMojo!
2) Haven't seen Inseminoid but it looks more like a "rip off" of Rosemary's Baby than
Alien.
3) It was an obscure movie but the 8 Films To Die For flick Unearthed was a major
Alien rip off. Cloverfield kinda did too.
10:15 At least this film gave us the jumpscare sound to Five Nights at Freddy's.
Pitchblack is a huge stretch with only having predatory aliens that acted nothing like one another.
Abyss seems a lot more like leviathan than aliens.
Lets face it, Alien ripped everything off. As even Dan O'Bannon said; "I didn't rip off It! Terror From Beyond Space I ripped everything off."
isn't ironic that Alien was also accused to steal and rip off other properties, specifically the concept of the movie, and the concept of the alien itself?
one problem I had with species is that aliens don't wear high heels
I'm kind of surprised to have "The Abyss" on this list, when either "Leviathan" or "Deep Star Six" were better contenders for ripoffs
I always thought Event Horizon had more in common with Hellraiser than Alien.
Do the top ten "Top 10" channels that ripped off the Top Ten format.
Pitch Black: the only good movie Vin Diesel has ever made.
Guardians of the Galaxy? Saving Private Ryan? Not necessarily in that order
I love Galaxy if Terror. The team that made it later made Aliens, and Aliens and the various novels ripped of Galaxy of Terror.
The Documentary shows that most of the Groundwork for Alien has been done during the Preproduction to a Movie never made, Dune by Alejandro Jodorowsky
.
I quote:
“Bava’s film was a direct influence on Ridley Scott’s 1979 big budget B-movie Alien.
The Abyss? Really? So just because it's got an alien in it, that makes it a rip off?
