Zkye, is an extremely charismatic and talented singer. With every song she sings, with every jam, there's a piece of heart that she leaves in the song, and that song becomes hers. I think that if she tried older repertoire, e.g. Tina Turner - Honky Tonk Women, or something like that, we would discover these old songs again. This is just my opinion, but it immediately reminded me of it. Zkye, you are extraordinary. If I lived closer, I would invite myself to your rehearsal to listen to it live :)
I totally agree! Not to take anything away from the rest of the band who are all phenomenal musicians, but Damien generally goes unnoticed in the back, despite his amazing chops and musicality. He deserves a bit more of the limelight. Having said that, kudos to Zkye for nailing this song. Melissa Ethridge is another underrated rocker and musician, and Zkye has the perfect voice and attitude for that. I never get enough of her voice
This is absolutely fantastic. What a brilliant band performance and what a vocal, not only has Zkye got an amazing voice with great character, tone, and range, she’s a great singer, her delivery, story telling and inflection is superb! I’ve been a big Melissa Etheridge fan for years, and I like this as much as the original version.

Bloody hell , it must have been like being punched in the guts by Mike Tyson , being in the same room as Zkye while this was going down ....man , you've gotta be bloody well ecstatic about how this turned out ....100 million views wouldn't do it justice. It's quite obvious all musicians involved with SingIt Live are skilled, their performance is top notch every time. Which is a great (and required) foundation but what sets SingIt Live videos always at least a notch above other really great videos is - Darren's mixing. It's so good, so likeable, so pleasant to ears that it's simply in order to re-mention it once in a while. After all this time, I'm still impressed.
Zkye's voice is not only amazing but she takes on the persona of the original artist every time. She must study their videos and perfect all the flaws. Just awesome!!
People don't sing like that with so much passion and feeling/expression unless they are alive inside. Zyke is alive. She has it going on inside and she can express it. This was outstanding. And of course the band was rocking as usual.

Automatic five gold stars to ANYthing Zkye sings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐she is just BEYOND sky high, she is outer-space STELLAR. On Wednesday night, the legendary Paul McCartney delivered a stadium quality production (including pyrotechnics!) at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, an indoor venue seating 8,000. For the rest of his tour, the shows are stadiums, so we were very lucky to see him up close and in this setting, because the constraints made it more intense and intimate. And Darren/Producernerd does the same every week - he's in a basement, but the production (which isn't just how it sounds and looks, but how it is organised and attention to so many details) is as tight at that basement, and similarly top notch, every time, over-delivering on quality.
