My sermon notes for "Start Sharp// strengthen your strength" week 2: 1.) The goal is to start sharp and stay sharp. Everything you think you can do well, you can do better 2.) You can only strengthen your strength by becoming a student again. You can't be too proud to fail at something you are strong at. 3.) God is expecting more from what he gave you. When you don't create, you critique. What if the gift was just to give God glory? Stir up the gift. You can't be concerned with the opinions of others in your purpose walk . The goal is not for people's appreciation but obedience. God does not have an age limit to your calling 4.) You need more room to do what God has calling you to do 5.) Break the contract with the lies you have believed 6.) Stand strong in your gift and stir it up. God is reminding you to stir up a gift that is already there 7.) We all have gifts, and they have come from God. God has not changed his mind about your gifts. Sometimes, it's more about what you are getting than what you are giving How do you know what your strengths are: 1.) Natural: These are gifts that come easy to you but are harder for others 2.) Named: These are gifts that loved ones and strangers can identify in you 3.) Nurtured: These are gifts that have been watered by your environment, encouragement, and effort 8.) Greatness is always nurtured What keeps you from strengthening your strength?: 1.)Comparisons 2.) Converting 3.) Complacency 4.) Comforting 9.) Flip the gift-- for the gifts who were mislabeled 10.) Strength submitted to God are success, but strength un-submitted to God becomes stress 11.) Make this the last time considering the gifts that God has given you as an option Strength prayer: Dear God, today I acknowledge that I am gifted ! I pray that you would help me stir up the gift you have placed on the inside me. Let your strength be my strength. In Jesus' name,amen. God did a crazy faith story amongst the fading faith of my life. He showed me his faithfulness goes beyond my comprehension, he made a way all the way from South Africa for me. 🇿🇦 When I could not see it, but somewhere deep inside my spirit I chose to believe Him for it. God SURPASSED what I desired and revealed his state of Majesty and King of Kings. 😭🙌🏼 I hope my testimony encourages whoever may read this. GOD’s with you, run after what he’s instilled in your heart. Watch what happens! 😭❤️🔥
I am in South Africa. I started listening to pastor Mike and transformation church last year and it has been changing my life every single day. I have had a hard time being a Christian for more than 16 years but he is opening up in my life what God really wants from me and I am so grateful. One day I hope I can visit transformation church because I don't think anyone could be changing my faith the way transformation church is.

This message landed in my lap this morning confirming every thing I have been doing lately. Such confirmation from my Father. This is the funny part. I watched it at 6 a.m. at the kitchen table where I pray and study every morning. My poor (blessed 😂) husband's name is Wayman. I shouted, Amen!, so loud, that he came running out of a dead sleep to the kitchen because he thought I shouted his name in distress. 😅 I laughed so hard! I said, "No, babe, I shouted, Amen, not Wayman!" I am crying from laughing. He will laugh about it later. I am sure of that. Thank you for this message. I have to go get to strengthening!

🙌 so true anxiety I be praying constantly but it's true Mind rising with my situation. Had to give my little kids to daddy my oldest daughter and son it's with Grandma bc I lost everything. Had to sleep in my car and now I'm in a shelter. Just keeping my faith even though I want to control everything that I know it's not for me to control only God. Having my last child went through postpartum depression had to go to get help for my mental health I stared drinking pills it did help. Now I'm feeling like I'm going through it again anxiety and hardly can't sleep. But I see myself praying more. Than before.
Wow that makes sense my mind be all over the place and when i pray the holyspirit intercede and i pray and think about people i wasnt even thinking about until i go into prayer thank you @miketodd🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I asked God in my fast to offend me with his word, I want to be reformed by the fire. This word was so humbly spoken, and delivered in a way that I feel convicted but completely encouraged, enlightened, and empowered to go into this year strengthen my strengths!! Thank you 🙏🏽

You have the greatest gift that God can give someone, you are a parent, a father, someone's child, God's child. The fact that you were brought into this world, you are a gift. Every day until you believe it, write what you can do, write what you are good at, etc. Pray and ask God to give you words on paper. Ask your daughter, ask your family, ask God to reveal what you are good at. Someone told you different but step out with God.

Another thing you said was going back to school. In another sermon you spoke about going back to school. I have starting school last summer to obtain my Masters in Marriage and Family counseling. It's good for us to have a local Church, but it's okay to have other people who help us in our faith. So long as they preach truth. I know the feeling a lot. Some people will speak to us more.

You have the greatest gift that God can give someone, you are a parent, a father, someone's child, God's child. The fact that you were brought into this world, you are a gift. Every day until you believe it, write what you can do, write what you are good at, etc. Pray and ask God to give you words on paper. Ask your daughter, ask your family, ask God to reveal what you are good at. Someone told you different but step out with God.

Pastor Mike, Thank you so much. Listening to this message stirred up something in me. You spoke about the gift of help. I never knew that can be considered a gift. I am one to say how can I help. Another thing you said was going back to school. In another sermon you spoke about going back to school. I have starting school last summer to obtain my Masters in Marriage and Family counseling. Lastly, you said people who worry need to flip it. That is me I worry for myself but I can pray for others and tell them not to worry. Thank you again, Pastor Mike.

Glory to God! This was so good and so on time, I'm that 'good with helping persons, hospitality and admin, I'm literally working for our church for 3 days a week, my main source of income and though it doesn't pay all the bills, It's the best job I have doing admin, I would have done it free
