Don’t stop, be grateful for what you have, Mark 1: 35-45 is a story of how Jesus found a leopard and the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me.” And Jesus told the man, “ I am willing, be healed.” And the man was healed. I think we forget that God is willing to heal us, we just need to ask him.

Today’s service blessed me tremendously. I knew for the longest that I needed to be physically planted in the body of Christ after attending online church for close to 2 years. Also I need friends, everything discussed in this sermon I felt like it was God talking to me. I spend A-LOT of time alone in isolation which is not good. I’m single with no children, and I’m just now starting to realize that I’m not meant to do life alone. I always thought I was just introverted but after years of being in isolation basically doing life alone, it has started to affect me in many ways I didn’t expect. I prayed to God for guidance just recently about the loneliness I am currently experiencing and I’m positive he heard my prayers and my cry and for that I am truly grateful. 🙏🏾 Thank you soooooooo much for this word it was right on time.

One of Michael Todd's best sermons. Its so true with what he mentioned. We live in a time where people have individualized their Christianity to avoid being with the body of Christ. Its dangerous if no one in our lives can keep us accountable.
The friendship one is one the needed to be said. We need friends. The challenge is developing them deeper, but it was good that he helped us being reminded of checking our settings. For anyone reading this, environments that the Lord is removing you from, be diligent and obedient to obey God if you need to leave certain environments. Not every environment is for us. We need to be the light, but know where there are people in our lives who can lead us toward darkness.
Listening i don’t have a local church however your church is considered my church even tho it’s online, i thank you! This series has helped me. My husband has Cancer I’ve been in the Deep n I’m trynna my to look at a FRESH START n trying to be more positive he will get through it 😊

1.) You must embrace the process in this season God has you in
2.) Your setting may be familiar, but it isn't faith
3.) Who are you sitting next to?
4.) Where is your environment?
5.) What God is telling you is this year, you will be able to provide shade, rest and shelter when you are planted in his word and a Church. You can't give away what you have been planted in long enough to grow into
This will be the best year of your life if:
1.) Setting of faith will make you flourish ( you need to consistently attend church, how often are you in attendance in the church?) Find a place where you feel the freedom to be who you are called to be. You have to stay planted long enough to grow
Declare this statement over yourself: I am at my best when I'm in church sitting, serving, sharing, sowing, sacrificing, and saving. I will commit to be in a setting of faith. You should have a place where you sit with other people who are damaged and messed up just like you. develop a consistent setting of faith, the setting of faith will make you flourish
2.) Setting of friends. Faith without friends turns into self-righteousness. You should be in settings that challenges you if your life is not lining up with the word of God. There is safety in accountability. The setting of friends is where you are convicted
3.) Setting of spiritual formation. Devote yourself to a place outside of your setting of faith that is growing you. When God provides, it takes your decision to feed yourself. Be devoted to learning so that you can lead. Put yourself in a setting where you are no longer the smartest in the room. Become a student, being a student requires humility. The setting of formation is where you are cultivated

This is one of those sermons regardless if it was Pastor Todd or your local pastor that any believer could resonate with and take something away from it. This in no way to throwing shade at Pastor Todd he delivered the word that God gave him and I hope it touched others like it touched me.

God has told me that this year is about rebuilding. Isaiah 9:10 says that everyone will rebuild with better material after a disaster. I am faithful that God will help me rebuild everything that was lost in my life and I pray that everything will work out.
My journey with God led me to do what Pastor Todd preached. God started with Setting 3 on April 30th. Online church and daily studying. I asked him to work on me so I can be planted in a Church . . . in person. Setting 1 was added to me life 6 months later. I prayed for Setting 2. Still praying. I can see God working by whom he is bringing in my life. The Rooted study I signed up for and more.
I am following God's lead and will have all 3 by March 31st. ❤

From the very beginning of the sermon, to the room settings, to the end where you are inviting all to give our lives to Christ... God Truly ,truly used you. I'm a 54 year old married father of 6 who is transparent about how i was locked up, being a liar, a manipulator and also a man who was addicted to porn as well,.. like most men.
Your testimony is setting men free. The words you said..."If you give God your heart, he will help you change your habits" So So powerful and true. My relationship ended, and now it seems that my friendships are ending as well, it feels impossible to rebuild anything. I pray that God can help me, help me continue with counseling, and rebuild and restore what was lost in my life. The last time this happened I lost faith, and this time I’m not losing faith, I’m just praying that it can be healthy again. In Jesus Name, Amen.
