I always enjoy a good train layout with engines pulling cars. Thank you for the fun. Got to go to mall from in Oregon and enjoy 3 layout they had running for this weekend lots of fun. The logging layout was my favourite. GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖
I'm not entirely certain but I think the Great Central Layout is just being used at their new HQ for the moment to have something to run trains on for review until they build another permanent layout. Whether that will be another version of Topley Dale or something completely different I don't know though. Thanks for watching 😃
Yes they've really nailed the feeling of the Great Central Railway and the Bachmann Scenecraft buildings really help with that. The full building series over on KeyModelWorld is definitely worth a watch if you ever have time. Thanks for watching 😃
Yes they certainly know how to put on a good show! I don't think there was ever a moment where less than two trains were running. Thanks for watching 😃
Great video, was looking for a video on this layout only yesterday. One of the best layouts I’ve seen, simplistic but full of so much detail all at the same time.
Yeah it is a good one. I like how they've utilised Swithland Sidings as a scenic fiddle yard that allows the layout to be viewed from all sides. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy yes, that was an ingenious idea, incorporating them in the way they have. Did you get chance to talk to the guys at hornby magazine? They definitely know there stuff.
Absolutely! This was at The Great Electric Train Show 2022 which is run by Hornby Magazine with this being one of their own layouts that they took along. It was right by the door too, so a great meeting point with lots of like minded people about. Thanks for watching 😃
That was a great video, that's some layout, brilliantly done and the stock really brought it to life, a lot of time has been spent on that layout but in overall a stunning layout 😀
It is a really nice layout. Hornby Magazine have done a great series of videos on their website showing the construction of it too. Thanks for watching 😃
Nice one. While it is a oval, there are enough auxiliary tracks and sidings, etc to make it interesting, not just round and round. Multiple trains running is great. Music makes a much more enjoyable vid here. Many thanks.
Yes it really is a great concept for a layout, fits everything in quite neatly and allows enough operational interest to keep you busy for a while! Thanks for watching 😃
I love model city layouts in model railroading. Especially those that use different types of signs, especially illuminated ones, this comes from my childhood watching trains go down the neon illuminated main street of our town....such joy. Can you recommend in model layouts I should be on the lookout for on UA-cam??
Hi Chuck, you might like this video I made of a Chinese themed model railway that sounds similar to what you're describing: ua-cam.com/video/tu9EsDA1pFw/v-deo.html Thanks for watching 😃
It is so nice to hear music over the background chatter thank you so much. Such a shame so few people ignore this simple option to fix the horrible babble that goes on in th background.
Glad you liked the music, I think it makes the video better too. Most of the time when people mention it they want me to stop using it 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
It's definitely 00 gauge but yes filming from a lower angle so that you're level with the scenery and models does tend to make it look bigger. Thanks for watching 😃
No problem but the prices are insane the highest I'll go is 200 only for the preserved 812 828 wich is another rare one but one of my favorite locos of all time
I believe the Terrier belongs to @paullawrence6926 and the magazine was kind enough to let him run it on the layout for an impromptu running session. It is a preservation themed layout too so it's not the most improbable thing in the world. Thanks for watching 👍
I believe the model on the Hornby Magazine layout is a custom repaint and not the limited edition model Hornby released last year. Additionally I seem to remember Hornby increasing the production run of their model from 1,500 to 2,500 because of the high demand. Thanks for watching 😃
As this was at an exhibition I believe the magazine were using it to showcase many new and upcoming 00 gauge releases. The general theme of the layout itself is still of the Great Central Railway. Thanks for watching 👍
Excelent model railway video. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching 😃
Wonderful layout and a great video thanks. Good to see Elizabeth II in the royal purple too.
Glad you enjoyed it Nigel! Yes it was nice to see that particular loco on the layout. Thanks for watching 🤩
I always enjoy watching your vidz of layouts with trains running. Very relaxing! Thanks for sharing 😀
My pleasure Ian, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 😃

Ah fantastic, glad you had a good time seeing some layouts closer to home. Thanks for watching 😃
Lovely video but I have to say their last main layout was better- love the GC and will be there in real life soon Thanks for posting 😎

Great layout ! Can see how much like the real stations the ones on this layout are
Yes they've really nailed the feeling of the Great Central Railway and the Bachmann Scenecraft buildings really help with that. The full building series over on KeyModelWorld is definitely worth a watch if you ever have time. Thanks for watching 😃
Excellent video. Lovely to see such a nice layout and very relaxing just watching the trains go by!
Yes they certainly know how to put on a good show! I don't think there was ever a moment where less than two trains were running. Thanks for watching 😃

That's great what nice layout
It’s great isn’t it, although I heard somewhere they’re retiring it soon. Thanks for watching 😃
Enjoyed your video and liked thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy Hope there more to come.
Nice one !! Thank you 👍👍👍👍
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it Robert! Thanks for watching 😃
Excelent.
Thanks! 😃
Looks so fun, man! It’s always fun to connect with people of similar interests at exhibitions like these :)

Great video thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it Jade! Thanks for watching 😃
Woah! A purple deltic! I’ve never sent that before!
Yep, that's the Porterbrook livery I think. I presume this is one of the new Accurascale Deltics released last year.
Like the long shots and wide curves.....
It's certainly a good layout for viewing trains on the corners like that. Thanks for watching 👍

Someone needs to oil the wheel bearing surfaces on that coach in the opening sequence!
Haha yes, one of the many issues that pops up when running trains constantly at an exhibition all weekend! Thanks for watching 😃
My Knowle model made its UA-cam debut!
Indeed it has, though you might like that! 😁 Thanks for watching 👍
Probably just the camera angle, but these look bigger than OO gauge, more like "O" gauge.
Lovely layout though.
It's definitely 00 gauge but yes filming from a lower angle so that you're level with the scenery and models does tend to make it look bigger. Thanks for watching 😃
I'd love to have Taw valley unfortunate for me it was sold out and WAY to expensive
Yeah same for me, I considered it but it was too expensive for a loco that I would probably rarely run. Thanks for watching 😃
No problem but the prices are insane the highest I'll go is 200 only for the preserved 812 828 wich is another rare one but one of my favorite locos of all time
Interesting layout, but why is an elderly SOUTHERN Tank hauling local traffic on the Great Central? Poetic licence, like Hornby's prices?
I believe the Terrier belongs to @paullawrence6926 and the magazine was kind enough to let him run it on the layout for an impromptu running session. It is a preservation themed layout too so it's not the most improbable thing in the world. Thanks for watching 👍
As cool as the jubilee locomotive is I just know it’s gonna be some ridiculous price and they’ll make a small number
It’s been announced, released, and sold out already
I believe the model on the Hornby Magazine layout is a custom repaint and not the limited edition model Hornby released last year. Additionally I seem to remember Hornby increasing the production run of their model from 1,500 to 2,500 because of the high demand. Thanks for watching 😃
Nice, work but not the Great Central, rather a lot of the wrong rolling stock on it.
As this was at an exhibition I believe the magazine were using it to showcase many new and upcoming 00 gauge releases. The general theme of the layout itself is still of the Great Central Railway. Thanks for watching 👍
