Wow! Those police officers are true heroes. They put their lives on the line every time they put on that uniform, and they do it to protect and serve the community. Thank you, officers, for ALL that you do! And thank you, Mr. Coyote, for highlighting the good work and the true concern for others that this police force has. I hope you continue to do more videos of their good work. God bless you all.
I live in east Tennessee but all my family are from Lynch, in Harlan. I spent a lot of time in Lynch and Cumberland when I was a kid and it's one of the most beautiful places in the country. I'm really glad to see you guys cleaning it up because I know drugs ruined places like Harlan. Great job, officers!
I deliver in Harlan County very frequently and have nothing but positive things to saw about the officers, deputies and troopers who patrol the area. Awesome people and the prayer in the beginning was heartwarming!
Awesome video Coyote! Thanks for bringing us along for a close and personal look at what law enforcement is doing to protect us and save those off the path! I was especially moved by seeing the prayer at the meeting before they headed out for the work day! This day and time everybody needs more prayer! I pray for all of them to keep safe and am thankful for their service! Thanks for showing us what their jobs are doing for us Coyote's!🙏👍
Good on Harlan County S.O. I retired as the coroner of Pulaski County AR and can tell you that drugs not only decimate communities, they decimate lives. Your sheriff seems like a good man. Like I always said when I did community lectures, if you get folks to say “NO” to something, you must give them something to say “YES” to. A strong balance of enforcement and intervention and prevention are necessary to “fix” a community. Harlan County is where my mother was born and raised until she joined the Air Force. Bravo.
I'm glad one of the deputies mentioned these people driving on the roads because I lost a family member to one of them, he was hit by one of these people who had just left their dealer's house
Praise the lord for our god fearing sheriff. Thank you for these videos. I pray for boldness, protection, and the shield of God to be with these men and our sheriff.
Everybody worries about the rights of these people, what about my right not to have my house broken into and my property stolen so someone can buy this garbage off of these dealers.
Glad to see there getting the sellers off the street i know it's hard as an addict I was one for 17 years 6 years clean now I live in letcher county i know the struggle the cops have with thus stuff 😮
We can all do our part but the Judges and prosecutor's office must do their part. I'm not pointing out just one dept. Judges can't let them go with a fine and 30 days in jail, they must do paper on them. Anyone on drugs or dealing them hates to be on paper. I love the fact you are showing the efforts being made to save our youth.
Thank you. 3 years ago my wife and I were hit buy a driver under the influence of drugs who had been arrested for the same thing the day before and let out of jail that morning, we were both injured, my wife quite seriously all we were trying to do was go out and have dinner when this man coming back from his drug dealer almost killed us, I hear a lot about the "rights" of these people but I hear nothing about the rights of the rest of us to have dinner without being assaulted by them.
It becomes a basic quality of life issue, especially with the children involved with the misery & the insanity. I'd also like to add that many of those addicts have neglected Pets, I just last week adopted a German Shepard that was taken to the Pound by the CT State Police during a drug raid, she was cowering in the bathroom traumatized, she is the sweetest, most gentle Dog I've ever seen..there wasn't even any dog food in the residence, the bazaar things this poor Dog must have seen, she was like an ignored Fly on a wall. Just like the Children, these countless Pets are also collateral damage of this horrific epidemic.
Excellent point! At the first house in the video if you listen close you can hear the cops talking about how filthy it is, the ideal of a child or pet having to live in conditions like that breaks my heart
Very insightful video of what actually happens when it's your time. I would like to thank the Harlan county sheriff's office for their service for this community and I send my wishes to keep everyone safe. Thank you Ignited Coyote for this insight.
So happy for the young lady who found recovery! That's how I found recovery! Although I ended up with a felony that took me 12 years to get off my record, I have been in recovery for 13 years!
Kudos to Halan Co Sherrifs Dept. I'm not a fan of cops in general for personal reasons but when I see men with their heart in the right place doing their job well and fair without unnecessary destruction damage and thinking about the people in the home that didn't commit a crime......I'll say it again good job!! This should be used as a training video for the rest of the country
I appreciate these folks. I so wish I could move to a Godly community. Louisville KY has fallen and I sure am sick of it. Wake up people and put the Lord back in your lives! 🇺🇸 God bless y’all!
I’m from Leslie County next door to Harlan. They are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. Some of the hardest working people I’ve ever had the pleasure working with. These drugs need to go and the dealers. It’s destroying our communities
I've seen first hand what task forces do and it's incredible. But with so much dealing going on sometimes it's disheartening and futile, and feels like taking a pee into the ocean. There's no end to it. I saw a wonderful community I'd lived in for over 20 years destroyed beyond recovery because of one lousy, selfish dealer. And the judge just paddled her butt and sent her back out to play. And another took her place before the sun set that day. The courts are just too lenient, the laws are for the protection and convenience of the criminals, and the good people are forced to leave what they've worked for so many years. If I sound angry, I am.
Thank you for a very interesting and informative video. Brave officers. From what i saw these drug dealers are not making very much money, judging by their poor living conditions.
@@tonyd9830 The first thing I tell people that are thinking about starting MAT program is Suboxone and Methadone are harder to quit than the actual drug . The MAT program saved my life but I was in full withdrawal for 90 days after I quit Suboxone.
How cool I came across this video. My Uncle Dillard Davis was Chef Of Police In this Small Town for Many Many Years. Glad see some of the practices used are better. They was Old School just beat your ___ back day. Good Job Men
Ive been to Harlan Co. Ky. Went to a funeral. One like I've never seen. My friend at the time, her sisters husband had been murdered. Then her mother got mad and got her gun out to go kill someone. It was eye opening. Ive never been back.
Sir, who can I write to get information on a murder in Harlan County Kentucky in 1949. Id like to know if it was investigated and was anyone ever charged. Tha man Lindsey Ellison. He was married to my great aunt.
The real criminals are the family enablers who keep bailing them out of trouble and ignoring their addiction. Heads in the sand. I wish those enablers could be prosecuted certainly they are part of the conspiracy.
Is older woman sale rugs or using ? Hope you understand what I’m asking don’t want hurt your UA-cam videos . Do we need not say word too ? Hope sheriff let you do more videos . Be nice to see more videos like this cleaning up Harlan and saving our people
Everyone arrested that day had sold *rugs to undercover officers. you'll notice the folks who just bought a pack of 200 baggies to sell their merchandise in so they was planning to do quite a bit of business if they had not been interrupted by the law.

I wonder if those homes in California that burnt are sitting on top of any kind of lithium, cobalt or copper
Wish there were more people in law enforcement like you and your dept.
