Ishido allowing himself to be on a first name basis with Yuma last episode is a really obvious capstone to his character growth, but I think his interactions with Zangill really cement it. He’s gone from distrusting aliens to immediately bonding with one. Probably helps to some degree that he knows Yuma is Arc now.
I am SO GLAD we have a genuine comedy episode to breathe after the absolute CHAOS of the last few episodes. EDIT: Oh my god that ending though. My heart! My tears! God I love this show.
How cute, Sir Shu found another coffee enthusiast. Poor Gedos, always turned crispy. Just as they say, Three Arcs are bettter than one. Quite nice episode. I look forward to next week.
Somehow Zangill's even more awkward than he was in Blazar, and I love it. And I suspect the entire reason they chose him for the Blazar crossover was so that he and Shu could nerd out over coffee I had my suspicions last week, but this week's episode confirms the Blazar crossover is a remake of "The Little Hero", and Hellnarak's the Geronimon remake we wanted. They even do a triple-shot homage at 14:26 Arc's Galaxy Armor is even more powerful than I thought, I expected the doppelganger ability to be sth Zangill gives him, not sth he can do on his own. The Demon-slicing Meteor Sword was really cool too, reminds me of the ForceRiser finishers from Zero One, and I hope it returns in a future episode
this is probably the best new gen crossover cause it does something completely different from other ultra crossovers then dont just bring back the older ultra but only have him as a cameo
Thank you for promoting Indonesian coffee Arc. Give some love to our South East Asian neighbors as well. Our coffee are either underrated or over-priced (which makes the great beans to be further underrated).
20:22 this sequence is outstandingly inspirational. this is what got me into after effects and loving VFX, this and episodes of power rangers/super sentai!
So, Zangil like always can be hilarious and serious when needed. So Zangill tells them of a demonic being named Hellnarak that exist within the realm between the living and the dead is ripping ghosts of fallen kaiju from the dead as cocoons and sending them out towards the interdimensional rift created left behind by Zadime's demise. Hellnarak sends countless ghost kaiju into the living to prepare for his escape from the rift and into the living world. Zangill who too was brought back by Hellnarak fights alongside Ultraman Blazar to oppose Hellnarak's plans. However, being a ghost himself much like the kaiju, he does not have a lot of time in the living world before he has to return to that realm. Rin and Youpi recorded the sound frequency and vibration made by Zangill's sword allowing them to oppose the ghosts even without Zangill. This becomes helpful as Hellnarak unleashes two more ghost kaiju from the rift going in two different directions. Zangill takes on Taganular while Arc and SKIP deal with Gedos before joining with Zangill himself to oppose a swarm of undead Taganular. Here Arc Galaxy Armor manifests the sun and moon cubes allowing all three to appear at once making short work of the Taganular swarm. I am calling that finisher Galaxy Crescent Arrow Shower. Zangill mentions a bit about Blazar to Yuma and has one last cup of coffee before departing, leaving this Earth in SKIP and Arc's hands to bring down Hellnarak.
8:05 **probably meanwhile in Blazar's universe** Gento: **ACHOO!!!** Teruaki: Um.. you ok, captain? Gento: Yea... im fine.... (Someone must be talkin about me)

Dateline Friday, November 29th, 2024. This could be the equivalent to dinner last night, as in Episode 17, the appetizer, Episode 18, the entree, and last week's episode 19, the Main Course, and yes episode 20 is under two hours so let's run with this...hopefully I can strike down 3 stones on the same day.....TODAY that is! First, the appetizer, Episode 17: Demon Slicing Meteor Sword...or Zangir's Tour of Duty....part 2, with 8 takeways for thee....you. One, Zangir Strikes Back...again. It's been a year and two weeks ago since we first met the ghost hunting Zangir in Blazar, exorcizing the spirit of Nijikagachi, this time he's on a mission to stop someone more evil than Nijika's spirit, the Infernal Dark Samurai Hellnarak, whose eggs carry the ethereal spirits of past enemies, Moguzion, the wild-looking Vision mole, returned in Episode 16 and was vanquished, a kajiu Arc's predecessor Blazar fought. Could this be a clue? Who else from Blazar's timeline has returned as a vengeful spirit? One A ( 1-a ), an honorable mention, Coffee Gets Knighted. Just like last year, coffee fills the air, and Zangir gets a cupful of satisfaction. Shu's amazing pot of Indonesian coffee gets the approval of Zangir, I didn't know coffee was huge there. About time, they mentioned it, huge props for mentioning it ( down goes the instant coffee...just kidding, but, hey, it's STILL COFFEE, right?! I could sure use a cup...anyhoo.. ) Two, They're baaaccckkk, the Fish and the Bug... with the weird snoucher....I mean NOSE. Hellnarak sent Gedos and Tangular to cause troubles for our heroes. Gedos, the abysmal fish monster from Episode 2 and Tangular, the weird Beetle with the freaky nose, sounds like a " drunken elephant," and the notorious Teanthium drinker turned heroic bug from Episodes 3 and 23 also from Blazar is back, but as ghostly apparitions. It seems one still has the knack...guess? I'll explain later. Three, Passing the Secret and Slicing With it. It was a shock that Zangir was a part of Hellnarak's plans to conquer the world, but he resisted the Shogun's evil ways and intentions and fight to stop it, but his time grows short as his cross-dimensional body is wearing a bit thin and he needs to pass his technique to someone, but who? Oh, I think I know... Five, Same Fish Fry, different procedures. Arc managed to stop Gedos in fine fashion. Last year, it was fish skewers courtesy of Blazar in Episode 2, this time cut in half by Arc's cutting ring. How about that fish now? Six, Tangular can do that? It looks like our Bug w / the crazy nose brought the whole crew along. Were they behind the scenes last year when they tried to stop Valeron's eventual arrival last December? You think that's was a surprise, how about this... Seven, Arc's Triple play. I wouldn't have imagined that we would see a triple play action again. Trigger did that 3 years ago with his Glitter Eternity's Multi Photon Triplication in Episode 12. Now, it's Arc's turn with his triplication move to put the "RAID " on the Tangular Army and his Galaxis armor magic to put an exclamation point on the battle, Arc just keeps getting more amazing every time ever since he acquired his 3rd armor back in Episode 15..what more can he do at this point? And speaking of points.. Eight, Time to Bid Fare Well, Zangir. Zangir's time is up, but in the heart of the battle, he sees a vision..a vision of the ally he fought alongside him, Blazar. His mission is complete, and Shu and Yuma bring him one more cup of coffee to send him on his way back to the ethereal world. The Demon Slicing Meteor Sword technique is now in good hands, but the battle is far from over, Hellnarak is still waiting to crossover, and there's still unfinished business ahead..who else from Blazar's timeline still has a grudge to settle, and will we see Blazar making a triumphant return? Conclusion, 🤫..I did see Episodes 18 and 19, so I have an idea where it's going, but for now, this episode was a unique departure from what we saw the 1st time with Zangir one year ago, and it worked, I give it a 10.8, we salute thee Zangir...and Arc! Next up, the temporal disturbance is still a threat, and....is that Bazanga?! We're getting close to the arrival of Hellnarak and everything else in Episode 18: Arc Coorporation Request. One down two to go, now the entrée....this is one imaginative thanksgiving meal I'll finish, figuratively speaking 😊! I skipped no.4, but seven will do! Imitating Arc's grunt,eeuurgh...but it'll do!
I don't get it. Did Zangill have any incompatibility to our world? It seems that the invasion has just begun. But it takes an army to stop other. I will keep on calling Ishido Ishido and "coffee man". Really, UA-cam? Too much ads! 😡 Ultra-greetings from Brazil! Hi Indonesia guys!
I think that's part of him Zangil was revived along other random souls, but since he resisted being controlled he was not given an energy supply to help sustain him.
Something tells me the phrase "to a tasty cup" was a dubbed line they made up because they couldn't translate what he actually said. (and I do "believe it." lol) What is his true phrase? Something honorable and traditional, I guess.
2:37 Rin calling Zangill "kitchen knife" is weirdly funny.
I swear, Zangill and Shu will be good friends since both of them like coffee so much.
Ishido allowing himself to be on a first name basis with Yuma last episode is a really obvious capstone to his character growth, but I think his interactions with Zangill really cement it. He’s gone from distrusting aliens to immediately bonding with one.

Ayo he super duper dummy mode right there!

Ultra-greetings from Brazil!

Listening to the Japanese version, it sounds like they got that about right.
