You know what is the greatest lesson here? No matter how big or small you are, you are never too good for Harbor Freight tools. Sam needs more HF sponsorship for sure.
😂
@@Samcrac @Siasax
took him 10 years to get a lift, will take another 10 to get a set of tools
@@VaporEG well if its going to take 10 years we will probably watch him restore multiple Ferrari, Mclarens, or rare domestics, or even watch him beat rich over the head with more HF tools for a long time then.
Didn't know u still had the dominoes delivery car
This dude needs rehab for sure
Ive been watching Sam for years and can't recall him ever finishing a project.
Literally but still entertaining
Same
So true.
He’s certainly not VTuned that’s for sure. Ben has his cars half fixed on the first video and they are done in a couple of weeks.
I think the pizza car is the only one
From pizza delivery cars to Ferraris, what a life.
The Dominos series were great. He’s come a long way!
Sometimes crac pays
Big facts man saying you could buy them just like that yeah right.
@@GlazzedDonut True words 👍🏼
Pizza car put him on the map, would like to see a recap or update, like does he still have it or what?
I hope 2024 is the year that at least one car gets completely done!
In my opinion I think the videos fixing the older exotics is extremely interesting and fun to watch. A lot of people would never buy old out of warranty exotic and when you buy them and fix them it shows people you shouldn’t be to scared to take on a fun project 😂
Especially when Ferrari wants $4700 for a fix or part and you fix it with a harbor freight tool and you’re only $36 into it 😄
The reliability of the older cars can be less problematic than the current models. NOT problemless,..just easier to repair most times.
I finally understand what ur doing Sam. At first I didn’t but now I realize it. Keep up the good work keeping ppl informed. 👍🏾
It is good to see the car inventory and hear the updated stories behind them. I always a little confused with this channel. There will be a couple of videos on a particular vehicle, but we're sometimes left hanging as to how the issues are resolved with the repairs, if he sold them, or gave up on them, etc...Look forward to next year here.
I agree with this statement. But hearing about the problems and the knowledge he has is the real value here.
Follow you because of your diverse car collection. Agree, ship half of them out.
I would 3D print the surround and replace the radio with a modern one which would be lighter. The plastic below probably just need the plastic clips rebuilt.
Yeah, modern ones don't have a cd changer/player inside and are only a face about 1 1/2" deep and weigh nothing. For what it's worth, I don't know why they even sell aftermarket stereos, you have everything it does in your cellphone. All you need is the headphone jack and the usb and a way to hold it in the dash. for that matter, you could also just use a 7 or 8 inch cheap tablet, that would do all the same things. Just velcro it to a flat piece of plastic.
I wonder if Ferrari is still using that rubberized plastic that turns to sticky goo after a few years?
For a "faux classy" look you can also get that Carbon Fibre wrap to go around the 3d printed surround as well as around the buttons.
@@Bicketybam68 You could also do a dip.
@@scottyV1000 I was wondering that myself....probably. If nothing else Ferrari isn't big on fixing problems.
The obsession with cars is not mutually exclusive to you, there are a lot of us in similar situation. I have 23 in my “unicorn” collection , 3 of them former UA-camrs cars, too! Thanks for sharing!
In a time where it feels like we need at least $70,000 for a fun sports car, I think it’s absolutely amazing to see how you solve what should be complete nightmares with just a bit of ingenuity. From cross referencing mundane parts to rebuilding a turbo kit in your garage, you’re consistently showing us that we can escape expensive bills and headaches with a few minutes of thinking outside of the box and some elbow grease.
Pull the radio surround out glue it together and scan it and 3d print it. For sure that is probably the best way.
Best channel of all the carboys! Hoovie, Tavarish, Legit. Rich keep it real like your guy Samcrac!
I appreciate that
Hoarding is so easy when you have the means and the storage space. I feel you
🚦Got darn Sam so many new projects for the new year…Kudos to you brother
So much trash on that farm 😂😂😂
@16:58 - we fixed similar issues with getting the old part, 3d scanning it, then printing it in our lasting, then casting an aluminium mould from it. It takes time, but it works. (Admittedly it’s for industrial equipment, and not a Ferrari) 😂
I’m a college engineering student, happy to help you model and print a new media surround.
I did a s65 amg abc to coilovers conversion. When done properly it was an amazing ride after . ( additon of sway bars, non abc steering pump etc.) But after selling the abc pump, valve blocks ans the shock as cores, the conversion was under 1000
Keep on keeping on Sam……living our dream ❤😎
Admitting you have a problem is the first step. Looking forward to following your progress. You're videos are always interesting.
Poor pizza car neglected we need a revival video on the pizza car please love the content man keep it up
It needs a bath!
3d printing is your friend. Have someone scan it and print it out of ABS or a carbon fiber mix filament. Should be cheap and easy.
Damn, Sam on crac with all these cars. Much more than I remember, and I've been watching for years
Sam using the new car lift, as some of us using home gym equipment to hang on clothes.
It's definitely weird how he works in the middle of a field, when he's got a lift 😅
And that's why we watch
@@anonymouse7074 Or the cows using multiple cars on the field, as fancy scratchers.
Finishing a car and detailing it for an end shot would improve the channel for sure.
Sam for the love of God please build a big shed/barn to keep these babys out of the sun👍
Your a exotic car farmer😂
Love your vids!
The most impressive part of the video, is how the cows didn't destroy yet most of the cars. They must be too distracted to what car to use as main scratcher.
I had a friend who owned several nice collector cars and he lost his storage so he used his Dads field temporarily and yup the cows caved in nearly every panel they could get to.
@@toddaulner5393 Exactly.
Only solution I can think of on the 612 Bezel situation is good CAD skills and a 3D printer. Honestly, at this point for cars with trim parts that aren't made any more, 3D prints are probably the only solution that won't cost multiple thousands.
Can't wait for the updates - Merry Christmas Sam !!
Regarding using the same parts across different marks, the brake and gas pedal rubbers are made the same place for all VAG cars, I know that because I work in the mould factory that make the moulds for the "expencive" rubbers (with the stainless inmolds) in fact I moulded the very first pedals for that Bentley back in january 2016 We make molds for VW, Audi, Porsche and Bentley.
Regarding the potentiometer for the F430 i bet that Dan from NormalGuySuperCar will have one somewhere as he was in the manual conversions before and they remove all that stuff and throw it in the parts bin
I keep loving the Corvette ZR1. Love the color and history and just has come character. Would love to see it get more love and see it driven.
Sam you got to build yourself a nice big shot that you can store all these cars in you have so many beautiful cars and when you leave them outside on the Florida Sun it's just heartbreaking to see
15:40 is a dream come true. Audi R8 & Ferrari F430. 2 of my favorite cars ever.
I'm so happy to hear you are keeping the zr-1
For the Ferrari dash, scan it, then have it CNC machined out of your choice of metal. Probably cheaper, and definitely stronger. Different types of prototyping and other shops would be happy to do it.
When my dad passed he left me 42 cars, not one could be started and driven, he said he would get to it. This is Pure Crazy never let it happen to you or your kids.
The 612 Scag!!! OMG!! After it was painted, I never heard about it again. Please do a 2-3 minute update and quick drive when possible.
It was never painted!!! All original, except that radio lol
That red v12 Ferrari and white moldy amg are keeper dream cars hope you can fix the gearbox
You are on the right track. Scan and 3D model a radio frame. Probably could find a UA-cam creator to collaborate with easily.
Dang Sam it’s like you have a life size collection of hot wheels 😂
They've all been stomped on and left in the yard too.
Regarding the plastic Kenwood radio surround(approx 16:40) have you considered getting it remanufactured by a parts printer? Folks that do that can recreate common and complex plastic parts. Depending on the rarity of the part required it can be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than trying to buy a rare exotic car part on the open market from a diminishing supply pool. It can also give you another advertising stream by featuring multiple reputable 3D printing manufacturers that have figured in the success of getting your car projects repaired and ready to drive! Good Luck!
Glad to see you keeping the ZR-1. The Ferrari California looks fantastic. It is an open car with automatic top. Fantastic!
Sam how do you know so much about every car?! How much of your time do you set aside to research on each of your cars? Crazy knowledgeable!
No worries Sam! We’re happy to help enable your addiction!
I love that you still have your fuck off pizza delivery car! keep on keeping on Sam, I love your content. Happy New Year!!
Always a great watch 👍👍
You finally got something worth watching. Love it!
I'm a delivery driver and it makes me sad to see the domino's car being neglected. 😢
I think that finishing the manual swap you started and doing the other one just afterwards so you have fresh memory would provide us really interesting content and serve you a good purpose
More cars then animals at SamJurassiCrac Park 🤣🤣🐔🐔
take all the peices from the broken bezal and make one out of fiberglass. you can use the broken one as the template. done it twice... worked well and can be drilled and painted
Man that’s a lot of cash for the “unknown” I hope Sam can fix and sell them all!!!
Let's be honest, if he gets one of them fixed up that would be impressive
10:07 I love that you still have it.
If you aren't going to build a big garage for all these cars, will you at least park them together??? It's freaking me out! 😄
They're out to pasture for the season..
I know the feeling on a smaller scale. A few years ago i had multiple VW's, a couple of trucks and my motorcycle. I knew i had a problem when i started keeping my key fobs in a fish bowl and would reach in and grab a fob with my eyes closed to determine what i drove that day. Now I'm down to two Jettas, an F150 and a Kawasaki 🥴
Bloody hell, you've got so many vehicles. Do you have fleet insurances or something?? :-)
I'm sure you've noticed the lower control arm bushing is pretty torn. Happy you got the Bilstein shocks, but you should get that taken care of.
I'm sure you can find the center bezel for the 612 somehwere on the used market. Pretty sure you can get a more modern 2DIN unit to replace that ancient Kenwood.
As for the 430, yes, get the manual conversion. There's no question that's the better way to go. Manual swap anything wit the rubbish F1 system. Not only will they make them more reliable, it'll increase the value of the vehicle.
Hope you had a great Xmas and if we don't hear from you soon, Happy New Year!!
I'm awaiting a few control arms for the Porsche!
You’ve got your hands full, but more importantly you’ve got the right positive attitude that’ll keep ya going. Wishing you success and enjoyment in 2024.
I would solve that problem by first getting a joybring 7 inch double din it’s super light and about 120$
Nice haul Sam! Your mechanical skills have got to pro level. You got this under control.
Start hiring workers Sam, bang those video out and make a great 2024 for us in car content!
I can relate with the amount of cars and the issues that come along with it. It becomes a full time job just trying to do maintenance, keep the batteries up, and fix issues with them.
Loving that videos are being dropped with more frequency...
Great to see,how something so entertaining can get out of hand, happy new year, happy selling.
Hard to beat that collection. The Sl or the AMG GT are kinda my favorite of all of them. But I would love to have a C7 too.
@@chir0pter I am talking about the Mercedes Sl and GT. 🤣
@@WildDigger Fair, I was calling the California a Ferrari SL pejoratively. I didn't watch the video
Sam, I feel your pain. I'm the same addiction buying motorcycle 'projects'. You and I need to understand the buying opportunities will always present themselves anytime AFTER we finish our projects. Your subscribers will be just as happy to see your content shift to repairs for a bit, then pick up on fresh purchases later.
In the meanwhile, I'll watch whatever you put out for us, cheers from Australia and Happy New Year!
I love this channel but why not a huge garage for the channel I think the channel would blow up even more
Absolutely make a fiberglass part. It's the easiest thing to do. Just make a mold from plywood and tape it up with packing tape. Super easy. Trust me I do this for a living
I’m the 500th person to view this video, after being posted for only a few minutes!?! Way to go Samrac
3D-print a new frame for the radio. Best tool for the job. I wouldn't even scan it. Make a hand sketch, make a mock up and print a slim plug model and test fit, do a couple of adjustments and make the final print.
Miss the old outro music 😢
For the 612 stereo/ac bezel - I think investing in a 3D printer (or having a friend with one) is going to be your best bet. I'm sure the schematics are available somewhere. Maybe upgrade the stereo to something newer/lighter and with all the newest tech.
Still got the pizza car there. Very nice.
Wow Sam! I didn’t realize you had this many to work on at one time. 2024 is definitely gonna be a heck of a year for you and a fun one 👏🏽👊🏽😃
That McClaren is trash. Those cars are litterally nightmares and some parts aren't attainable on secondary markets because everyone has failed. If electrical issues it's a dump.
I don’t know anything about high end cars, not very interested in getting one ,but I just find your channel entertaining
I'm just waiting for one of these days that Hoovie sends something off to Copart and Sam manages to find it haha.
Sam, could you please explain why you have all your cars spread around your property? If it was me I'd group them all together. Love your content and the way you always give things a go!!
You need a big garage to keep those cars in
Well at least they all ready sitting where they are going to collect dust.
Great job Sam
wonder how much Sam now owes to Stepmum after buying this lot?
We all miss her
@@andymudhoney what has Sam done to her? Or has she disowned him?
I think he is happy to 'service' that debt as required.
I'm sure she lets him pay in some way. Poor lad.
Congratulations Sam! Happy Hannukah!
Sam: surely the Bentley is Stepmom's new daily? She's probably making the monthly payments anyway...
Love you Sam and happy new year!!

3d print the surround. I've had a couple 3d printed parts for some project cars over the years, and they hold up amazingly well, and with some effort will look 100%
Can you get the radio surround 3D printed?
I wonder if you can get someone to 3d print a new bezel with durable materials and then you can skin it over with whatever material you want like a carbon fiber finish or just smooth black vinyl if the 3d print looks rough on the surface for the radio bezel
hey would love to have anyone of these cars
For the stereo I suggest expanding foam.
Sam needs an intervention 🤣
Happy New Year to you Sam. And everyone you hold dear too!
100th anniversary edition Bentley didn’t last 5years??🤯
😂
Nice cars, lots of work left to be done!! Your hands show all the hard work you've been putting into them !!
Sam buys cars and has little to no time to even fix them 😢
Can’t wait to see the videos this coming year
Now i understand why your wife left you
😂😂😂
Regarding the Ferrari radio trim...I'm sure one of these young bloods out there could get fancy with a 3d scanner, but being in the same age bracket as you Sam this is my advice. Grab a piece of paper and make a template then cop yourself a $15 plastic welding tool from Harbor freight and go to town on a scrap piece of plastic found anywhere in your barn or salvage auction...you get my point. After you do a test to see if it fits, and some film or wrap or leather can cover it in any color or optic you please.
I think you have enough cars Sam……
You must be a women 😅
