It's unbelievable Emily had to end in Linkin Park to actually made it out there as they went pretty much unnoticed for over a decade. The raw talent in this performance is off the chart, insane. To me we're top 10 worldwide rock singers, don't think I'm exaggerating. The control in her voice going from high pitch to raw scream effortlessly, the presence on stage, the energy.. how the hell this didn't happen earlier?
about 5 or 6 years ago my daughter told me to check out Dead Sara. I don't normal take music advice from her as we have very different taste in music and we both know it. She just said trust me dad listen to Weatherman. Honestly blown away by them. Why they never got huge I don't know. They can rock it out. I started listening to them and a few of their songs on my work play list. So now imagine finding out that Emily Armstrong is the lead singer of one of my all time favorite bands Linkin Park............all i can say is fuck yah! She is an amazing singer
I was blown away by her singing in LP then i listened to some deadsara and was just like wow. how did i miss this? they been around 12 years and i had never even heard of them. i guess i missed this show because by this time (2012) i no longer had cable tv so watching late night shows was history by that point.
Goddamn, there's so much rock & roll energy in this song! I keep thinking I'm going to get tired of it at some point, but it still gives me the shivers every time I hear it.
this was my introduction to Dead Sara & Emily Armstrong. Bought the CD several days later, then helped back their 2nd album "Pleasure to Meet You" through PledgeMusic.
@@josephchang8368 Now she will be huge thanks to Linkin Park. She is a great fit for that gig. Watched the concert and loved it. If she continues with Dead Sara I am sure that will have a wider audience since she got that added exposure from the Linkin Park gig.
I was a teenager the first time that I saw this. My family and I are going to start a late-night road trip, when I saw this band about to perform on Jimmy Kimmel. I didn't know anything about them but something about the name got me and I asked if we could stay a little bit longer just so I could watch this. I instantly got shivers and knew that this was going to be a band that I would love for the rest of my life. Needless to say I downloaded their discography before we left and listened to their album on repeat. Now I'm almost 30 years old and I still love Dead Sara. I've seen them perform a number of times in Denver and have met them. Everytime I get that nostalgic feeling from having watched this single taping. 🖤
And they must not like nirvana either cause i get serious nirvana vibes since ive been checking them out this past month. her voice is perfectly imperfect and im here for it. Raw and Real
I saw this the night of... it was extraordinary. Don't let anyone tell you it wasn't high art. Can't believe it was 2012. Trans-formative. Thanks for posting!
Man, they removed this video from the jimmy channel on UA-cam. You saved the day. Do you have the other one, "sorry for it all"? If you do, please, upload for me! Thanks

And here we are in Sept 2024..way to go LP ❤🙏
Shes got the Beauty of Gasoline and Razor Blades in her voice. She is Definitely my new favorite voice . 🔥 😮
Best television performance by a hard rock band I've ever seen. Not even close. Emily rips the vocals and Siouxsey rips the guitar.

Same, this performance did it for me 🤘🏽. At least she’s now getting recognition through LP
its been a long time since i headbanged on my couch, chips went everywhere
Still coming back to watch this all these years later. Please don't ever take this video down.
I don’t know how these guys never became a huge band. Great energy, good songs and her voice is amazing.
and now?

@@tkd4uandme Dead Sara gained a new fan in me as well. She's awesome
I saw this when it aired and was blown away. Her pipes are phenomenal and she has sooooooo much fuckin presence.
Going to be worldwide huge. Please, please don't self destruct. Modern music needs you badly. I need you badly.
Too bad it didnt pan out for them. I was with you on that one.
now the whole world knows emily
It’s a shame they never blew up like they should have. I thought they were going to be huge when I first heard this song.
Kpops fucked up the world so thats why.
Probably the best vocalist and guitar player in the history of music. God I love this song!

This band is filled with soul and bursting with immense postive energy. I cry when she sings omg.
I swear I had clothes on when this video started....
They're so AWESOME! See them if you get even a small chance. Even better if its a small venue. Powerful!!
I’ve never been so much impressed with a live performance 👍
Wow. what an amazing performance. Holy heck.
Best song of Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 :D
Its like Eddie Vedder from Ten came back as a woman! My Gawd
SRsly! I'm imaging a double Pearl Jam-Dead Sara bill!
LP fans that say she cant sing are 🤡
They are not real fans. Just some fools trying to make themselves feel relevant.

Flawless performance
That drop at 3:53 gives me shivers every time.

It's like if Melissa ethridge and phil ensalmo had a baby and that baby went off to sing lead for a rock band....wallah!

Amazing. No other words
She went for the fucking kill
HANDS DOWN the greatest voice in rock history.

Does anyone else feel the influence of Jimmy Hendrix when listening to this?
As an old dude, I looooove rock chicks that aren't into bras.
