Dear Peter, I am new to the luxurious Creed family of fragrances. That said, I wanted to join in with chorus of praise from your viewers regarding your spot on review of Creed Millèsime Imperial. This fragrance is so unique and it stands on its own as being one of the jewels of the Creed fragrances line. I will be looking forward to your other reviews on all thing fragrances. Your newest and loyal subscriber. Cheers.
I can't tell you how glad I am to hear that this smells like Green Irish Tweed. I got the unboxed of the 2 scents and immediately thought they smelt alike and got suspicious that the bottles I got were refills.
good job. I just got a bottle of this yesterday and I was blown away on how great the smell was. You were spot on with the details on how you describe this awesome fragrance. Thank you
Wow, that is the most succinct and accurate description of Creeds Millesime Imperial I've ever heard. "Sun kissed citrus and musk". That's the perfect description.
FYI Millesime is just a marketing term that refers to wine practices. A millesime is when they bottle a certain exceptional vintage with only grapes used of that year. Creed is of course using naturals, but they are using a lot of aromachemicals as well. This is not persé a bad thing, but they want us to believe that they use the most exquisite natural materials. But obviously fruits like melon are never really used in fragrances. That being said, I like the fragrance and have it myself, but I think current prices are ridiculous. I was able to buy it in Europe in store for 160 euro, which is a correct price I think, but the prices (especially in the US) are a disgrace to me. My local niche store even said that Creed is for example in no way still using detectable amounts of Ambergris, this is just not possible given the quantities they produce and the increasing scarcity of this ingredient. A lot of good marketing and some legacy that is creed for me. But not what it used to be.
great review man! i’m excited for my bottle to arrive in the mail. i only own GIT, with two samples, one of Aventus, and the other is Silver Mountain Water. this one here though is a blind buy for me. but with every review i’ve heard, plus your video just now, i’m sure it’ll be worth it. can’t wait to try this on
@@chrishunter2323 honestly the more I’ve worn Milsestone it goes lil musky when imperial stays fresh but still dies within 3 hours n not worth $300 a bottle. Now for CDNIM EDP l don’t care what you say it’s what Aventus use to be n last 8+hrs and I get compliments with that one. Aventus also dies within 3 hours for $300 or more a bottle 🤦🏻♂️Hell the soaps from Creed last longer then the frags . You stupid if you spending that much on Creeds these days 🤣🤣 But I give you Milestone it’s not as good as I thought it was gonna be. CDN Sillage I can’t speak on I don’t like SMW.
Like many great fragrances, the perfumers reduce their strength because they know people love them and will still buy them. Long term profit maximisation strategy.
I just got mine in the mail and really disappointed. It doesn't smell nothing like the one I smelt in Nordstrom. I can stil smell it on the test strip 2 days later. I loved the smell. But my bottle doesnt smell really like anything. Im in process of resturning it to creed. 😢
Thank you! I took a test bottle, and I loved it. I just wanted to know if it can be my daily driver for everyday out and in, and I got my answer! Thanks! As the price is not an issue for me, I'll for sure rock this on a daily basis! Plus I love the color of the bottle!
Great review, just purchased it online and can’t wait for it to set the spring and summer, just worried about how long the projection can last . I am into enjoying the fragrance lasting long . I have a sample and this will be my third collection from Creed .
How is the projection and longevity on you/do you know what the year of your bottle is? I was thinking about picking up a bottle and heard the performance was not very good @ Half Man Half Amazing
@@andrew7650 I sprayed a sample on my wrist, it was there for 9 hours then disappeared also sprayed behind ears and i could smell myself after 3/4 hours pretty often scent is gorgeous, I think of buying it too 😄
Hi Peter, This is the first video that ive see it in your Chanel and now I’m subscribed. Amazing review. Currently I’m thinking buy a MI tester by 190usd. Im falling love with GIt, Viking cologne, Bois du Portugal and Himalaya. For the hottest weather used to sprayed Acqua di parma colonia pura and galloway, for this i think MI Will be a good option (i dont have any marine fragrances). Best regards from Mexico Amigo 🇲🇽
Do you know if fragrances lose their top notes as they age? I got a 2007 Creed Millesime Imperial, and it's just salty and musky without the fruitiness.
As far as I understand, fragrances do go bad and change over time but it doesn’t stop collectors from using old cologne, i don’t get fruity it smells like a sweet beach resort😂
@@ScentTrail oh man...I ordered a sample set from Creed and it came with 3 SMALL vials aventus, millisime and silver mountain cologne for 40 bucks. I thought aventus and silver mountain were okay but the milisime really blew my mind. I've never smelled anything like it. I just ordered the 3.4 Oz from fragrancex.
Fragrances allways go through changes. Especially those with a lot of natural ingredients. Changes in soil moisture, sun exposure , climate in general , contribute to the changes in any new Batch.😉
Completely different Scent profile. Aventus is more a Pineapple and Bergamot with a Ambergries Drydown. While Milesime Imperial is a Marine fragrance with Seasalt soft fruit and a woody Drydown. 🤙
@@ScentTrail sampled Millesime Imperial at a retailer today while picking up a gift for a friends birthday. Loved it so much I bought it off Maxaroma. Can’t wait to start using it once the weather gets warmer here
Somewhere around 500 sprays give or take a few. Double that for a 100ml. It all depends on what kind of sprayer the bottle has as well as how long it takes you to use it up. The longer you wait the more can evaporate. Its not a perfect science 🤪 I hope it helped and thanks for watching 🙌
I've had my 100ml fingerprint magnet for about 3 years now...and I remember my first impression was "Artificial Watermelon bubble-gum tape candy". I believe it is not a real watermelon that people are reminded of, but a similar synthetic compound or terpenoid found in 'watermelon' air fresheners and candy that they've encountered at some point.
@@ScentTrail Oh it's not obnoxious in any way like an air freshener, but the brain is strange and still not understood when it comes to scents and memories. Sometimes I smoke a joint and get notes of mango or lemon. Same with wine I understand, but I don't really drink. Millisime Imperial is often described by some as 'watermelon' or 'melon'. I certainly thought so at first, but I have grown and eaten many varieties of melons. None are really close to the 'artificial' melon terpenoid, but M.I. evokes it, as do a few other frags like a discontinued LYNX body spray; possibly Nevada.
Nope. It doesn't protect sht, it doesn't last sht, it's not a marine fragrance, not fruity. Just a musky fragrance. Boring and very expensive for what it is. The ridiculous story about Queens, Napoleon, bla, bla, bla... Give me a break.

watermelon and ambergris notes has gone since 2015 in MI. This version is a shadow of what it used to be in the 90s
