  • Another beautiful day in the sea. ~50 miles of a run to some of our favorite reefs resulted in an amazing day of freediving and spearfishing in unreal visibility. Enjoy the video!

    Guessing 30 feet . The natural light illuminated the soft coral great.

      All of these spots we’re diving are 50-80 feet deep, we don’t really have anywhere that’s under 50 feet unless you’re right next to the beach

    loved it man. I am also in wilmington, but I fish out of southport usually. Excited for the water to warm up a little. How deep are you usually diving?

    • @justinparr
      @justinparr  Рік тому

      I'm also excited for the water to warm up soon. The spots we dive the most are in depths between 50-170 feet deep. I'm comfortable diving to around 80 feet deep before I won't really hit the bottom, but some places the fish are mid-water.

    This is a sick video man I’m actually moving back into the area after being in Charlotte several years. I love to know if you recommend any Wilmington Spearo groups. Unfortunately, a lot of my friends are golfers and I’d rather die than do that lol

    hey bud i am in sealevel nc. i have a series of questions you may or may not have answered already. what was your 1)distance offshore 2)depth to sand 3)exact date of this trip 4)water temp and wetsuit thickness 5)what type of sonar are you using to find your ledges? this is an incredible trip you should be very proud of these conditions

    • @justinparr
      @justinparr  Рік тому +2

      Hey Adam! Thanks for your questions.
      1) between 40 and 70 miles from the inlet we go out of this day. We changed spots all day.
      2) 60-80 foot to the sand
      3) June 11, 2022
      4) probably around 76-78 degrees, 3mm wetsuit
      5) I’m not sure, but the GPS is a Garmin.

    Hey, I'm traveling along the East Coast to do some spearing this week. Is NC good during this time of year? I also dont have a boat. Will that prevent me from getting where i need to be?

    • @justinparr
      @justinparr  Рік тому

      Hey Samuel! NC is good this time of year, but the weather is not. We can only dive when the weather cooperates. Without a boat, right now the best diving is in the waterways accessible by land, and the main targets are sheepshead and stone crab. Always go dive with another person, if you need someone maybe I can come dive with you.
