- I take you backstage at an Ultimate Queen Celebration show to answer your burning question: WHAT IS THAT GUITAR???
It is a custom made by Paul Murcio and Liz Albor of Distorted Branch Guitars (D.F. Mexico), now defunct. Inquiries can be made to www.alborguitars.com
In this video I show you what makes it a little different from Brian's Red Special or a bog stock BMG.
That chicken head knob's switching took a month and 80 cups of coffee to design. Glad someone else had to wire it!
You make it sound great live. Thanks for sharing the hardware details and showing her off up close. Look forward to the amplification/part 2 video. Cheers!
Very cool customize guitar! i have a bmg and i would like to implement a switch for serial/parallel to get more tones ...maybe one day if i try the good guy to install !
tony madad a push pot, maybe.
I'm subscribed.
I put a like.
Now ... I want more ...
(except Marc's warm up because he scared my cat)
😂🐹
Seriously, I'm a big fan of yours, I hope you do more videos like this 😘😘😘
doc dagoo there’s more coming! Gonna stick to an upload schedule of one a week. I’m getting ideas all the time now, and I start making them at least two videos ahead.
@@tristanavakian thank you! ☺
1:34 2^6 =/= 3^3? But maybe harmonic math is different than regular math. Ha!
Thanks for this informative video on your custom guitar. Looking forward to more!
ThatllShowEm I suck at math. Thank you!
@@tristanavakian I had to go back and look up the formula for permutations myself! If you have 3 4-way switches (dials?) it would work.
2^6 = 64 possible permutations
4^3 = 64
I'm more of a math geek than a music one, but it's fun when I have a chance to mix them.
It's such a good looking and sounding guitar. I've been trying to make one similar for a long time, but measurements are a little tricky
They are - some mistakes were made. But the original isn’t perfect either... I know, I’ve held it in my hands. It’s a weird guitar.
How did you wire that chicken head knob?
I don’t have the schematic. A friend did it. All I know is that it needed to have like 18 poles and it was a nightmare lol
