takes me bk to to when i lived above the ’t Soldaatje in voorhout 90's. it was on the juke box :). fab times, Fritz and Jose ran the pub then and i worked at Van Dam Export. a beautiful song sung by a beautiful lady. ty for posting it up.
When visiting my oma and Opa in Holland in the 70s. Used to hear this lovely song on the radio. It’s took me 40 years to eventually find it. Oh the memories. Many Thanks.👍👍

Good! There is a song I heard on the radio or somewhere as well, but I have not found it yet. I remember only one line of it : "Offer a reason... why you had to go away" It sounded maybe a little bit like "What's an other year" by Johnny Logan, maybe... So if you know what song that was, please let me know! Then I would have found it as well! Thanks!

Ja, we hadden toen het schrikbeeld Derde Wereldoorlog (nucleair!) om met z'n allen te vrezen.
En jaren tachtig waren bezuinigingen, massa ontslagen en grootscheepse voetbalrellen gecombineerd met een piek van doden in het verkeer, vooral voetgangers en fietsers maar ook veel automobilisten.

Wow, I just noticed I got a copy right claim on this old cover of Daisy a Day I did a while back by this song. So I looked it up and now I am pleasantly surprised to find it in a different language! Probably one of my favorite copy right claims I've ever gotten!
