This video is so insightful !! It answered most of my doubts. I have been watching all your videos and you have really inspired me tbh. I am in a similar situation right now in india, and had the same thoughts running back of my head while making a choice for Germany. I think i got my answer. Thanks a lot for giving your example Shraddha :)
Being a native German I agree with you. Education should be seen not only as a financial investment. Studying widened my mental horizon, and my job allowed me to travel abroad for business. I wouldn't like to miss these opportunities to get to know foreign cultures.
I left India because I was sick of competing for every thing in life - school admissions, jobs, getting a seat on public transport etc. Also, when I was doing my undergrad and masters degrees, there were no good textbooks available for Mathematics. Computer Science text books were OK. I had to rely mainly on the notes that I was taking in the class. More than anything, the most important factors for me to leave were to live in a society that is safe for women, equality between sexes and that is my utmost priority even to this day. I also like the fact that I can learn whatever I want to learn at any age.
A small correction, the payment of tax is not the basis for the unemployment insurance, but the additional statutory unemployment contributions. One of four statutory insurances, the other are health, pension and nurse care. Only the vocational accident insurance is paid by the emloyer only, the others are paid half by you and the other half by the employer.
I’m working as a software engineer with 4 years of experience, my parents will not support me , But I can take a education loan, this is manifestation comment , I will be in Germany in 2025 may ,
You put out some valuable content. A little off topic maybe, but there’s this woman I got in touch with during the lockdown which cost me my job. Ms. Norman Davis helped me manage my assets by introducing me to the best investing platform and strategies, I earned a lot of $$$ working with Norman in the comfort of my home. I still keep in touch with the amazing lady
As a single mother with 3 kids, it wasn’t easy having to raise them alone after my husband had passed. I remember the hardest part was when my eldest son got into college and having to pay for his tuition would not have been possible without the help of Ms Norman whom i had gotten in contact with the previous year. she assisted me and taught me how to earn extra income

@shraddha for you it made sense to move as 7.5 lpa is very less in india. But please suggest about someone earning 75+ lpa in india, should they move to germany? profile- 10+ exp, top notch software development background, working in top software product company, have patents under the belt. Now suggest if the person should move
I have worked in Germany and what I can say is for your experience in India you might have to slog for 10 -12 hrs. Where as in Germany you don't have to. In your age band what I can see is your dependent parents. If they are independent, you can surely think of moving... All the best
To pay 42% taxes and not being able to take your parents there? Hell the fck no. Free education is a trap. Even if you make 100K a year, you get 55-60K only.
