Restoring the Front End & Completing the Shifter Box

- First off happy new years to everyone and as always thank you for all the support and feedback you've shown. Jumping into this episode i completed the interior shifter box for the h22. I started off by removing everything and sanding down the epoxy putty. Recoated that in black oil based paint. Reinstalled and now its ready for the rest of the interior components. Looking through some boxes and around the garage, I came across my bumper beam or crash bar, the front end grill and some brackets. They were in bad shape and required some painting. A lot of painting still surprisingly but its the process for sure.

Dude I have the same clean up the shop resolution I started the other day. I figure I'll need a solid weekend to clean it up. I used to struggle with space in my triple garage, lucky I now have more shop to be able to walk away from a project that's apart and come back another day to complete. I suggest to limit your shelving then you don't end up keeping so much stuff. As far as your PORing I can only imagine what it would be like to live in California or another place where rust and corrosion is not an issue.
Car is lookinh great man, i gotta back track a bit now since i haven't recieved a notification in like 2 months.
That civic is going to turn out better than factory 👌, and yes i too have the same problem of my shop always being in a mess. I think it happens to all carguys sooner or later 😂
Things coming out stupid clean. Can't wait for the interior to go in and hear how quiet the car is after all the sound deadening.
+Jakob Kerr im looking forward to it too. Id like to try some tests to see if it actually made a difference. Might reach out to someone with the same motor swap and see if they can measure theres if they dont have sound deadening. We will see.
I grabbed a 90-93 Accord shifter and cables out of the junkyard for my H22 EJ1 ("EG" coupe) back in '13. They work excellent, were cheaper than Prelude and also all steel construction.
One day when Im a baller I plan on upgrading to a K-tuned billet RSX shifter, race spec cables and their H/F adapter bracket. $1,000 USD but so worth it.
Checked it out online and some videos. Looks pretty solid. Has me wanting it one day now
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hermano tengo varias preguntas.
✅Que caja utilizas para el swat en el honda civic
✅En donde encontraste el Shifter para la adaptación de la palanca de cambios
Tem mais brasileiros aqui ?

Just wonder how the handling is after adding wheight to the front...how
much wheight did the new engine add ?
+R Andersson i think the weight difference roughly between d series to h series is about a 180lbs. D series motors are light
Anyone else hoping he does the black trim in white instead?
He was originally going to go with body color trim but after internal debate and a lot of Photoshop, he decided on the matte black for contrast.
I am also very messy in the garage lol... never clean up like i should
When does this guy usually upload?
Normally i like to post weekly. average out to a video every 4-5 days or so. But i have been away on business for the last few weeks. so have to catch up.
Garage SpeCivic ok thanks. Plannin on doin another H swap to my civic. But want to watch your vids this time because you do things more legit than i did 😂
