- The owner of the New Orleans Saints, Mr. Tom Benson, left us on March 15th and I wanted to check out the statue of him which stands in front of the Mercedes Benz Superdome. However, things didn't work out as planned...

I hope the WWE pays a tribute to Tom Benson with a montage on the titontron when they come for WrestleMania. That would be a awesome gesture.
When Steve blocked that punt I found myself standing on my ottoman and screaming. I was working at 1515 Poydras across from the dome and watched that landmark get slowly repaired over a year. I remember that moment well. REBIRTH was a great name for that statue.

What! That was crazy that they wouldn’t let you go in. I liked the “blocked punt” statue. I remember watching that game film.

Yeah, since the event is Wrestlemania, they shut that down like Fort Knox. the Camping World Stadium was the same exact way. Ill get that statue for you DJ.

Good grief, could that woman have been any ruder? Sheesh! Her tone should have been way more apologetic since NOLA residents' taxes likely paid for that statue in the first place. Alas, courtesy has become a rare thing.
