That's very kind of you Kimberly! You ARE extremely talented. All it takes is practice, practice, practice. I'm able to do this after 15 years of practice. You can too. Thank you for watching and God bless you. :)
Thank you for watching Anastasia! This is made with gumpaste which is fondant mixed with tylose powder. Feel free to check out our video here in our channel on how we make our gumpaste. It's AWESOME! :)
Hi Irene! I guess it would depend on the breed of dog. I'm not 100% certain of what breed of dog Chase is but that's how his tail is. Thanks for watching! :)
Hi Demetria! We use gumpaste which is made by mixing Wilton fondant with tylose powder. We have a tutorial in our UA-cam channel that shows how we make it if you'd like to check it out. When working with gumpaste there are seams between pieces.
I'm sorry, I meant the fondant mat (it autocorrected it to "may"🙄😂)! It doesn't look like you're using any powdered sugar or anything & the mat is non-stick and non-drying.
Thank you Wendy! We hope you enjoy it! We shot about 4.5 hours of actual footage while filming. It's a miracle I narrowed it down to less than 20 min. LOL! :)
Hello Laura & Arnie! Love your work and all your valuable advice. Can you do a video showing how you guys organize your baking/cake decorating supplies? I am a home-baker and despite my best efforts to organize my supplies my cake decorating room is always a mess. Thanks again.
Hi Gloria! Thank you so much! That's very kind of you. :) We really don't have things super organized to be honest. LOL. We just keep all of our cake pans in one area, all of our decorating supplies on a shelf system my Dad made for us, and all of our other baking supplies in cabinets in the kitchen. I wish I could say we were SUPER organized and had some sort of "system" going, but we don't. Our stuff isn't a mess. It just helps to always put stuff back in the same place and know where it is. :)
Thank you so much Marcia! We use gumpaste. We have a tutorial here in our UA-cam channel on how we easily make it by mixing tylose powder into Wilton fondant. :)
Bonjour Sophie! Nous fabriquons notre pâte de sucre en mélangeant du fondant Wilton avec de la poudre de tylose. Nous avons un tutoriel dans notre chaîne sur la façon de le faire si vous souhaitez le voir. Merci d'avoir regardé!
Thank you Annette! I colored the gumpaste with AmeriColor's "navy blue" gel food coloring. You can also just use regular "royal blue" and add a dot of black or however much you'd like to get it dark. Hope that helps! :)
Glad you liked him Irene! It's difficult for you to see the brown part of his body during the tutorial because you mostly have a top camera view, but if you watch the video to the end and you have a good view of what the topper looks like to anyone seeing it mostly from the front and sides, you do see his torso and tummy all around. Hope that helps and thanks for watching! :)
Hi Mickey! Thank you so much for your kind words! The tiny little hand-held blade is by Martha Stewart. I bought it years ago at Michaels but now I can't find it ANYWHERE. I've searched and searched but I have a feeling they discontinued it which is why there is no link for it under the video. I hate it when they do that to our favorite stuff! LOL. :)
I knew there'd be somebody that would say that. And it was you. LOL. Glad you like hearing us speak. That's sweet. :) The music doesn't spoil it though. It's all up to the viewer. :)
Very nays 🇹🇳😍😍😍🌷🌷🌷

Just a question isnt the tail of a dog generally smaller at its tip? I noticed your tail is the other way round?
Hi Irene! I guess it would depend on the breed of dog. I'm not 100% certain of what breed of dog Chase is but that's how his tail is. Thanks for watching! :)
Thank you. Found out hes a german shepherd

LOL. We use a silicon mat, also known as a silpat. You can find these online. :)
Thx Laura!! 😘
Been anxiously waiting for this tutorial 😊😎. How long did it take to complete the figure? Perfection as always 💜!
Thank you Wendy! We hope you enjoy it! We shot about 4.5 hours of actual footage while filming. It's a miracle I narrowed it down to less than 20 min. LOL! :)
Do y'all just use water or do you use piping jelly/gel for everything to stick together?
We use edible glue. Please visit our channel as we have a tutorial on how to make it. :)
Ficou bonito. Só faltou alisar bem o focinho
Thank you! :)

Hi! Loved the video! What gel colours did you use to achieve the brown and lighter brown for the body and legs? :)
Thank you Sophia! I mixed a tiny bit of Wilton's brown with white gumpaste to achieve that shade. Thank you for watching! :)
That is great. how did you get that fondant a navy blue color?
Thank you Annette! I colored the gumpaste with AmeriColor's "navy blue" gel food coloring. You can also just use regular "royal blue" and add a dot of black or however much you'd like to get it dark. Hope that helps! :)
Wow! 👍🏼
Your so talented! Thank you for making this video!
Hi Carla! Thank you so much for your kind words! We appreciate you watching! :)
Love him great job. Only thing is dont know why you dont make the body straight away in navy blue as you dont see the yellow underneath anyway
Glad you liked him Irene! Hola Abigayl! Usamos gumpaste que hacemos mezclando el fondant de Wilton con polvo tylose. Tenemos un tutorial de como lo hacemos si gusta verlo. :)
I miss listening to you both talking, and explaining what you are doing, the music spoils it, x
I knew there'd be somebody that would say that. And it was you. LOL. Glad you like hearing us speak. That's sweet. :) The music doesn't spoil it though. It's all up to the viewer. :)
