A primary tenet of smart marketing and merchandising is to move product and not hold out for a price, which is the case here. Better to sell lots of them rather than a few for a high price. Second: The plastic side clip will eventually melt, warp and deform from burner heat, some sooner than others depending on how you cook. Auto-stirrer was idea I had years ago, and had I produced it, would have been waaay better made than this piece of junk.
