I saw an article about Marilyn Monroe years ago on what would've been 75th birthday. And people actually expressed relief that she died young because they found the idea of her living to be an old woman and seeing her "beauty fade too destressing." It's disgusting that people would rather she died than grow old.

She's smiling with her lips but not with her eyes, her eyes just couldn't hide the pain her smile could. I've always admired her looks, before even learning about her story and watching documentaries of her life I could already tell something was wrong. Her eyes showed all the pain she'd ever been through. People always saw her as just a face, but she was so much more. Marilyn loved reading and made sure to read lots. Marilyn was a smart and talented woman who was too good for the world, especially Hollywood.

Darren T Yeah, I mean, look at what Joe Kennedy did to his daughter. She had some issues, but from what I’ve read nothing insanely dangerous or whatnot. And he listened to the doctors and let her get a lobotomy.
I’ve always told my mom I’m lucky I was born in 1990. For years no one could pin down what I had until 2 years ago at 28 when I was in hospital for 7 weeks after nearly dying from liver and respiratory failure: Borderline Personality Disorder. I FOR SURE would have been given a lobotomy at some point, of that I’m certain. And any time before the 1900s been thrown in an asylum my whole life. As it is I’m 30 now and still living with my parents as I’m prone to suicidal thoughts every day pretty much, and easily will stop eating - which is what made my liver fail in the first place. Malnutrition. Plus I have PTSD from it all, and PTSD can never be cured unfortunately.

Then she began the movie business with a bunch of stress but really began her popularity. Not only that but she can’t have children due to miscarriage issues in the late-50s and she really began her downfall til her last divorce in 1961. Then she died of overdose.

She was on the verge of getting her movie role back, she did some excellent photo work & she was gearing up for more projects. You don't kill yourself when things go well. @@iconslegends5230 Where did I say that, where did I say I hated her? (edit: after all, she was left-handed so am I)! Just don't agree with your comment, but who knows what she would in today's time! Maybe you're right.
No, no! How can you say that? I love you very much, and you know it! 😔
