New Pattern Review: Meet the JONI BLOUSE + DRESS by Pattern Scout!

There’s a new pattern on the block: the Joni Blouse and Dress! If you follow the Pattern Scout channel (and if you’re here, you probably do!), you might remember a tutorial for this peasant blouse and dress that Casey did a few months ago. Now it’s a full-blown pattern for sale on her website and I got to be on the testing team! I love the fit, the options, and how customizable it is, thanks to shirring. I love this dress on you! I saw the pattern but I have never done shirring so I didn’t get it. I have a similar ready to wear dress and it is sooo comfortable! Thanks so much for this review…

Thank you, Mary! Shirring really isn't bad at all...it's actually quite fun once you get going. Just practice on a scrap piece to get your machine's settings right and you're off to the races!
